We had a lovely very comfortable, clean two bedroom sea view apartment. The apartment was well equipped and if you want to stay in and cook then you can. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms which was very good as it did get very hot as the day went on. El Marques is located in a quiet place with various small lovely restaurants and pubs close by. The property has a lovely big pool and plenty of cushioned sun beds. There is also a restaurant and a bar at the property, but I cannot add a review about the restaurant as we did not eat there. The staff are lovely and very helpful. El Marques is a beautiful place to have a nice quiet relaxing holiday. If you want a lovely quiet holiday in a nice quiet location then this is ideal. The sunsets are fantastic too. But if you want a busier, noisier holiday with lots of other holidaymakers around you then Puerto de Santiago and Los Gigantes would not be for you. We had a fantastic holiday here and we have holidayed here several times and will definitely return again. One more thing is that the resort is more a destination for couples than for families.

The view from our balcony was unbelievable, the whole apartment was very clean and it had everything that we could ever need, the location was also a big plus, having the natural pools just 10 minutes walk away, and Lorena from the reception made us feel more than welcome with her amazing treat. We are definitely coming back soon.

There's nothing to complaint about, everything exceeded our expectations. No matter how hard I try to think about something to add here, the whole experience was just great. Nothing negative to write, we just loved it.

- Enough space: duplex apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a decently sized living room - Interior was in a good shape, well equipped (with extra blankets etc.), and everything was working well - Two supermarkets real close, a number restaurants not far as well

- The room was supposed to have a view (and pictures alluded to it), but in reality it was on the ground floor with a view to the nearby hotel building (unless they count a glimpse of a cliff as you lean away from the balcony as a view...) - Parking in the evening could be a challenge as there are many hotels in the vicinity and all nearby streets are pretty much packed (there's a paid parking for 12 euro a day as a last resort) - Wifi was very unreliable, often slow or not working at all - Cleaning could have been more frequent

A clean and nice apartment with a sea view, standard furnishings, everything worked smoothly. Great location – there’s a small Dino store nearby and a larger Lidl very close, with plenty of restaurants and a beach promenade within walking distance. Good service, the pool area was clean, and there was a lifeguard present.

We happened to stay during major renovations, so we couldn’t use the lounge, bar, or restaurant. There were no activities at all. The pool area was small and not quite like in the pictures, lacking greenery. This might have been due to the ongoing restaurant renovations.

We originally paid for a 2 bed apartment. This was cancelled by booking.com- I’m still not sure why. We then tried to rebook and it only gave us the option of a studio apartment (the same day) for only £20 less. We went with a group of people in a total of 4 apartments. One of the groups had a 2 bed apartment and only paid £20 more than we did for a massive duplex apartment and another group paid over £100 less for a larger version of our apartment. All of these rooms were booked within the same week so it isn’t like we booked later or anything. If someone could come back to me regarding this, that would be great.

The apartament is really big and comfortable, clean and with all you need in the kitchen. Each aprtement has its own large terrace to relax. Access to the hotel pool is included (nice water temperature even in winter). The location is optimal for trips to the volcan Tende, to do dolphins watching or travelling to Masca. Staff was super helpful and kind. I forgot a personal item when we left the hotel and they kindly arrange to ship it back to me by post!

The whole apartament was very clean. We only noticed that some cuttlery and dishes in the cupboard had not been washed properly, but that was a quick fix for us

It was clean and well organized. The apartment was equipped with everything you needed for your stay. I liked the balcony, although you couldn’t see much of the ocean or Los Gigantes. The swimming pool was nice and pretty quiet. As for the staff, they were informative and helpful. Overall, it was a decent stay. Thank you.

It was noisy during night and morning. We got an apartment that was in front of the street, close to the trash bins. Early in the morning we would be woken up by the noise of the machine that picks up the garbage. The rooms are not very soundproof, as we could hear the neighbors snoring. Waking up several times a night was frustrating. Bring some earplugs. We requested in advance to have a room with ocean view, but we got an apartment on the first floor and we barely could see something. The twin beds were a bit uncomfortable.

It was lovely to be welcomed so nicely after a long drive. We were given access to our apartment earlier than check in and allowed to store our luggage securely until then. The apartment was spacious and had absolutely everything you may need. The kitchen was fully equipped, washing machine, stand for drying. The living room was comfortable. It was great. A few areas maybe could have been cleaned better. The AC hadn't been used in a while and when we turned it on dust came out - but we just opened the window at night and were fine. We were so content it was worth making a song and dance about. We always found parking in the street by the accommodation. Walking distance is a large Lidl. Plenty of cafes nearby.

We really have no complaints. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer. Maybe we thought street life would be a bit busier, but coming out of season could be reason some places were closed.

We stayed at Ona el Marqués for 2 nights. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and even let us check in 2 hours in advance! The kitchen was very well-equipped and there was a supermarket right across the road. The balcony was very spacious with a beautiful view of the sunset. A 20-minute walk from Playa de los Guíos. Nice swimming pool. We were able to use a debit card as a guarantee at check-in.

The airport shuttle was €60 for two people one way. Not sure if a taxi would have been cheaper. The shuttle service was very easy to book by email, a stress-free experience.

This is a really beautiful location, first of all. we were lucky to stay in room 144 and we had a large balcony with 2 decks chairs, a table and 4 chairs to eat at, if we felt like, as well as a sun umbrella and also a roll out shade cover, but most importantly a fantastic view of the Los Gigantes cliffs - I couldn't believe the view. Really incredible! The apartment is big and nicely laid out inside, and it is a self catering apartment. The kitchen is well stocked with hardware so you have everything you need to make breakfasts and dinners in the room, if that's what you want. You're also right beside a LIDL so you can go and get your food on foot. It was spotlessly clean when we got there and over the week we stayed, the cleaning crew came in twice and changed sheets, wiped down kitchen and bathroom, and cleaned the floors. It was great. We were very comfortable there. The pool area was also very nice, its situated well to get as much sun as possible and the bar is right there. Around the side of the bar there is a little terrace with a totally uninterrupted view of the sunset over the water - fantastic. You can get drinks all day but the pool snacks aren't available between 2.30 and 7pm. The whole of Los Gigantes is hilly so be prepared to walk a bit wherever you go. Maybe 10 mins to the harbour from the hotel, and 15 back up because of the height difference! Not much traffic on the roads. Plenty of street parking available for free, and a car is very helpful if you are hiking. There's also a bus stop nearby that was going regularly by the looks of it. For us, who wanted to have some relaxed pool days and some exploring days, this was a really perfect spot. We had our car and could shoot off when we felt like it, and we could sunbathe on the balcony or at the pool others. Everyone really keeps themselves to themselves here and the staff are not intrusive at all.

You have to pay extra to use the safe in the room (only 8 euros per week so not huge) BUT it is a physical key safe, not a code lock, so you have to look after the safe key then. The safe is also not big enough for a laptop or ipad, FYI. Just wallets and jewelry.
