The staff were amazing, the hostel was clean and overall a nice concept. Naturally, superb location.

- zero noise proofing. It’s still better than a regular hostel because you still get some personal space - the beds are squeaky as well - your pod only has usb a chargers. Not a regular plug or usb c -

We like that it’s a cheap option to stay in Madrid. The staff were very nice and friendly they helped us with everything we needed! The shared space was clean and the bathroom as well. The pod had great ac and ventilation, USB outlets and lights.

The mattress was very thin and not very comfortable. Each guest gets a locker that CANNOT fit more than a large bag pack so be aware. The water pressure and temperature cannot be controlled and you can turn on the water at the shower as if it’s a bathroom faucet (you press the button and the water is on for less then a minute each time. At first it’s very cold up until the 5th press. Also very exhausting and uncomfortable to need to press it over and over again for the water to keep running. It’s says they have a kitchen but they only have a coffee & tea station. The shared fridge is a mini fridge and is usually full.

I like the location, and the cleanliness, and also the friendliness of the staffs.

There is no socket to plug in your charger. They do have a plug for USB (I think type B). So it didn’t work with my phone that has USB type C. Be prepared!

Location

You can’t talk even on phone as you might disturb others. The capsules are not sound proof.

The capsule gave lots of privacy and it’s lockable that belongings can be kept in there. There is also a locker to store belongings next to the capsule. The capsule has wall socket and usb chargers inside too that makes it convenient to charge your electronics. The WiFi is super fast. The showers and toilets are very clean.

The shower room locks and toilet seats have not been fixed for what seems like a while.

Really cool concept with the capsules, the property was very clean and the pods had great facilities like usb chargers, AC, mirrors and lighting effects. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location was great, very close to a lot of sights, shops, restaurants and bars!

It wasn’t so much the hotel or staff, but because your in pods you can’t really see what’s going on unless you open your doors but sometimes at night you’d get people making loud noises, or they would bang into things. Again you can’t see but as a solo female traveller I felt safe in my pod 👍🏽 Other than that nothing negative about this place.

Cool concept which provides a good amount of privacy compared to a typical hostel. Have stayed in capsule hotels before but never ones with double beds so that was cool. The capsule was a good size and felt spacious. All facilities were very clean. Bed was comfy and location was very good for us.

The capsule did get a bit stuffy during the night, even with the fan on. It was also possible to hear noise from other capsules as the pods creek a lot, but we expected this would be the case and with earplugs it was not a problem for us. There was not much space around the capsule for packing/unpacking our bags, but there was a big common area downstairs.

Good staff, clean capsule, strong wifi

To hotel: 15:00 is a late check-in start time. And air system should be strengthen up. To noisy neigbours: have some respect. Chat and laugh outside. To Light sleepers: I think you better look for other options. I needed to go toilet at night, opened capsule's door and my downside neigbour also opened door and flamed "I cant sleep!" What do you expect me to do boy, do it on a bottle? This one and other capsule hotels are very good and low-cost solutions for travelers. But you need to have respect, also know to ignore or tolerate some basic sounds like door, locker, capsule door open-close sounds.

super friendly communication online chat before hand. great directions for getting there. easy to check in and check out . the explanation of how to work the pods was easy to understand. there was a vending machine in reception. eating and chilling area was clean and had free tea, coffee and water. there was a fridge with stickers to sort food and also cupboards. there were plates and cutlery and bottle opener to use . two microwaves that were always clean. my room was alien room. cool posters and pod was bigger than expected I could sit up straight and lay with a lot of room but I am only 5ft 4 . lockers, door key and power in pod was all done by using your key card but you can pop any card I. your pod to power it. showers were clean and toilet were good . 20minutes to walk to atocha train station and it was down hill ! 👌🏽

after 23:30 you have to wait to get let into the front of the hostel but there is always someone at reception 24/7 so not a long wait at all. it’s a bit of a corridor maze but I kinda liked that . the communal area was pretty much dead most of the time I went down. there was a bar but I never saw it open . some took some of my food I put in the fridge but hey that’s a chance every hostel. the space between pods is a bit narrow so had to pack and unpack. I was on the top pod and found it a little annoying climbing down at night to go to the toilet. the pods are not sound proof so you can hear people come in and out but most people respected the silence signs. there air con in the room but only air filtering in the pods but still wasn’t too hot .

It's exactly like the photos. Futuristic design with a lot of privacy, very clean, great illumination in the room, bathroom and inside the capsules, enough space to sleep comfortably and charge your devices. With the same key card to open the capsule you have access to a locker large enough to store a 50L backpack or suitcase. Besides, inside the capsules there are safe boxes and dimmers to regulate the amount and color of the lights.

The ventilation system and AC inside the capsule are poor. This was not a problem for me because I visited Madrid in spring and the temperatures were around 20C. However, during summer this could be an important issue.
