Very fast check in and check out, friendly and helpful employees, beautiful apartment and amazing location right in the middle of Madrid. Breakfast was nice but pretty simple.

The apartment was great and spacious, with a functioning airco which was wonderful, but sleeping was a bit uncomfortable because of the heat (bedroom was high in the apartment and the airco/cool air did not reach there).

- The staff was super nice. Especially the staff serving the breakfast. The lady was very attentive and knowing that there is not many vegetarian options she brough us cucumbers and tomatoes just for us. - The breakfast was simple but tasty. They try to change it up every day. - The location was perfect if you want to be in the center and have everything nearby. - The balcony we had in the room - The bed mattress was very good, not too soft.

- I traveled with a vegetarian partner, so even though the things that were available were good and tasty we wish there was more things for vegetarian by default (e.g veggies) - the location have it's perks but it also had it drawbacks - it can get loud at night. The streets can get pretty busy, like trash car or some other very loud unidentified vehicles. But that is something you should expect wanting to have a hotel in the city centre :) - There is a lift, but there still a couple of stairs from the 0 level to the exit - something to have in mind if you are in a wheelchair or have a lot of luggage - we got a kettle in the room but without any cups

The hotel is located in a very nice area, close to all the main atractions. Very clean, modern aldo is inside an okd building.

Very disappointed about one thing. I looked in particular for a sounproof room because i have problems sleeping. On the booking page it is mentioned that the rooms are soundproof wich is a very big lie. I could hear every word and snores from the rooms next to us! So this is a big no! Aldo the room was very nice, i would not come back the second time!

The room was a good size and comfortable, the location was great, about 5 minutes walk from Sol and Anton Martin tubes, 15 minutes to Prado, and 20 minutes to the Palace. Staff were wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, the room for luggage was a great extra. Nothing else was wanted by the staff who were exceptionally polite.

There were tiny things, finishing in the hallways, why would you put a towel rail in a walk in shower, but it was pretty well maintained to be fair.

The location is very central, close to 2 metro stations and interesting landmarks of the city (Plaza del sol, Plaza Mayor, Gran Via ...) The rooms are tidy and clean with all the necessary amenities. The staff in the reception and in the brekafast area are extremely friendly and helpful.

The sound insulation between the rooms could be disturbing especially if you had noisy neighbours :D

The hotel is so close to everything train station, tourist destination, mercado de san miguel and a grocery near by, the staffs are so helpful, friendly and accommodating, breakfast is excellent foods are so good, rooms are so clean . If i go back there i will stay again in your hotel, i will recommend this to my friends and those who planned to go Madrid its in the city centre.

Hostal is in a central area, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Our room was spacious, it was like a small apartment and beds were comfortable.

breakfast is in a small room adjacent to the hostal. on all 3 mornings we had to wait until some spaces would free up and could have breakfast accordingly.

Everything was well kept, the bed was very comfortable and the you couldn’t hear anything from the street below even though it was a busy street. The staff was welcoming, kind and efficient. The paid for parking was two doors down with large spots.

The only faults I can find is the key for the parking (you had to bring it back and forth) and bathroom smelled bad, but seeing it’s a block of apartments I am sure it is normal.

Hostal Sol Square Madrid has excellent location. It is right in the city centre. The purpose of my visit was to see some exhibitions in the famous Madrid museums so the location was of great benefit to me. The room was spacious enough and very clean. The staff was amiable and helpful.

You have to go out of the building in order to have breakfast. The breakfast could be richer with more types of cheese and fresh fruit and vegetables included. I did not like the yellow cheese which was offered. Juices, however, were very good.

Great breakfast, nice staff, great location. Good for a few nights in Madrid.

There was a bothering smell in the hallway. Not a bad smell, more like a strong chemical cleaning. Perhaps for carpet cleaning. Perhaps consider other cleaning product or install more ventilation. Parking garage spaces very tight.
