I liked the staff, all were friendly, very understanding and supportive. The bed was comfortable for sleeping, and I really enjoyed the view. From my window I could see the Gran Via avenue with its beautiful buildings. Overall the room was kept clean whenever I would leave my keys for cleaning. The quality of the shampoo was good (usually I take my own with me, but this time I forgot), compared to so many places, where shampoo is very low quality. After the checkout I left my suitcase in the waiting room with no issues. The hostel is situated in the very center of Madrid, and many big parks and places are in max 30 minutes of a walking distance.

The rooms were on the 5th floor, often there was a queue in front of the elevator, so I either would go down my foot, or wait a bit longer for the elevator. The hostel was not designed for a person on a wheelchair. The room's window was opening to the Gran Via avenue, which was often busy and full of tourists till the late night. Sometimes it gets noisy, but I would fall asleep anyway.

Really great location. Right in the heart of the city and walking distance from a lot of tourist sites. It was also right in front of the metro. The beds were so comfy and the facilities were clean.

The bathroom was absolutely tiny! Enough room to stand and barely anything beyond that. The door did not lock automatically so we had to lock the door every time we left the room which was a hassle. There was no elevator to the second floor so it was annoying to bring our luggage upstairs.

Excellent location for shopping, restaurants, souvenirs, near the metro and not far from the airpoort! The place is clean and quiet. Strong wifi! Friendly, accomodating and approachable staffs. Great value for my money. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the city centre. I got an excellent choice with this hotel! Thank you, management!

It's only in the 5th and 6th floor but it's doable! I don't mind it anyway!

Perfect central location for exploring Madrid just next to metro station, very nice staff. WiFi very good in the room.

The lift struggles to cope with the amount of people at busy times, had to use the stairs a couple of times and it's on 5th floor so not easy in the heat and with luggage. Could have done with clearer instructions on where to find it, not very well signed.

The location was superb - right in the heart of the city. The room was basic, we expected that, but was comfortable, clean and very affordable. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Only one power socket is poor these days - we had to unplug the lamp that used it, and rotate charging phones, camera etc. Room decor was a little tired and could do with a refresh. There were often queues for the lift, and it is a long climb if you use the stairs.

The location is amazing, very centric , and it has a bar with a great view on top of the same building. The people on the counter is very nice and they will help you on any way they can.

The accommodations are mostly old, there is a lack of electrical outlets on the rooms, there are stairs to get to the upper floors.

Location, Location, Location... The hotel is located at the heart of Madrid, close to sll the major attractions. We walked to most of them. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfy. The views day and night from the room were very good. Great place to set up base to explore Madrid 😀

The elevator was a bit dodgy and had a mind of its own. We walked down the stairs twice as it kept passing our floor with no one on it 🙃 😅

Hostal valencia is a very nice place to stay during the trip. I rented a private bedroom with bathroom. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was amazing. The hostal is in Gran Vía, so it is one of the best places to stay in Madrid.

The elevator was slow and I missed breakfast, but those things didn't bothered me.

The hotel is in very central. Lots of shops and restaurants. Very good location. Nice and clean room. The staff were very nice and friendly.

Unfortunately our room didn’t have a good view but there is a bar on the last floor with amazing view.

The view from the balcony was stunning, overlooking the Callao Plaza, with direct access to Metro station and buses, just a few minutes (~5) of walking from Plaza del Sol and other attractions. The staff was kind, with the reception open 24h. The room was pretty small and old, but considering the value of the location and the time spent in the room (just to sleep there), it's definitely worth the money. The building façade also looks very nice from the outside.
