I stayed at the hotel twice, and in both times we had issues with the air conditioning system, it wasn’t working, and in both times we had to move rooms because of that. On the first time we had a room upgrade to compensate for that but for the second time we just had to change the room.

The staff was professional, knowledgeable, fluent in several languages, friendly, and went out of their way to serve you. I ran the Madrid Marathon, and I needed some food before their breakfast opened up; when I asked for options, they had a "picknick basket" waiting for me at the downstairs cafe to be picked up at 6 am. that was much appreciated. They also remembered that it was my birthday and gave me a small cake in my room. The management sent me a card to express their gratitude for staying there. I would definitely stay here again and suggest anyone try as well.

Excellent mattress, really comfy bed. Great shower. Plenty of towels, shampoos etc. Good menu for tapas/drinks in Rooftop bar. Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location near metro BUT BE WARNED OF PICKPOCKETS! Unfortunately mobile phone stolen. Didn't have breakfast in hotel. Lots of nearby cafés offering cheaper alternatives.

Suggest written notification re risk of pickpockets be left in bedroom and at reception to warn guests. We were victims outside hotel on Gran Via. Reported it to reception staff, this was the third report from guests received by this particular staff member.

The hotel is located on the central street, 5-10 minutes walk to all historical monuments. Quick registration. Very comfortable room, perfect towels and linen. The cleaning is impeccable. The windows faced the street, but the room was well soundproofed. Breakfast is varied, very tasty. The hotel when you would like to come back.

When check inn, an additional day of stay is blocked on the card. When leaving, they returned the money in 3-4 hours - quickly, it was a practice in Paris to return a month, then it was already stressful. it's not a problem, I'm just stating the rules of the hotel.

The location is superb and the facilities are really well-kept, including the rooftop which is super nice. The location is a 10 and allows you to discover this beautiful city in its entirety. The staff is friendly and the rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Communication about breakfast was a little tricky. We were told breakfast was included both at check-in and once we checked in at the breakfast room. While eating breakfast a staff member approached clarifying it was not included and resulting in a charge we did not expect.

his is a nice hotel in an excellent position. We wanted a central 5 star hotel with rooms with balconies. It was very clean. The staff were friendly. There is a nice rooftop bar but it’s quite difficult to get a table. The breakfast was good. Our only disappointment was that the bar was closed on Saturday evening. We were told to go to the rooftop bar but there was a massive queue. Would recommend this as a good quality central hotel.

In our room the air conditioning was not working correctly and they told us we had to wait even though the unit had been on for over an hour. They did give us a fan but the next day they took our fan away and we again had to tell them we needed the fan to which we were told to wait a while to make sure the ac was not working.

The location was excellent. It is in Centro, which is the central area of the city. The room was modern, clean, and our view of Gran Villa was incredible. The staff were kind and helpful, especially for first-time travelers and non-native speakers such as myself.

I have no major issues with my stay, or things that I did not like. The ONLY suggestion I would have is to offer firm pillows in the guest beds. The ones I had were too soft for me and did not support my head well. Again, this is not a deal breaker, just my own personal preference.

great centrally located hotel within east reach of all the amenities in Madrid. had a meal in the rooftop restaurant, which ended up being the most expensive meal of our 3 week trip around Spain and Morocco…the meal was ok but it felt really overpriced TBH. stayed in a great room overlooking the gran via… the staff were absolutely lovely throughout our short stay. would recommend.

not though lifts.. there was a function on one evening in the roof top restaurant… queues outside the door to get into the two available lifts. I ended up walking 4 floors rather than wait.

Location: Right on Gran Via. What better location can one ask for in Madrid. Room : Excellent. Comfortable beds, pillows. Electric kettle with adequate tea/coffee options replenished daily. Nespresso Machine in room Bathrooms : Excellent. Spacious with adequate toiletries. Daily replenished. Staff : Doormen and floor managers were very friendly and smiling. Always ready to assist and lend a hand. Breakfast : Sumptous spread at breakfast . Excellent variety. Great start to the day.
