The room was great value for money. The room was nothing fancy, however the hotel itself had fantastic facilities and was in a great location. Walking distance to pretty much everything we wanted to see in Madrid. The little coffee shop within the hotel made amazing “Melbourne” quality coffee. The gym was small but well equipped with clean, modern equipment. The rooftop was nice, although the pool was freezing! We didn’t try the breakfast as it wasn’t included in our booking however it looked good!

$50 euro (minimum food and drink spend) to hire a daybed on the rooftop was a bit of a rip off I think. We were going to do it so that we could relax one afternoon, however we were advised you couldn’t even eat there and that you had to go downstairs to eat. The menu was very limited. Also the sun sets on the other side of the building in the afternoon and the beds end up in the shade, so we decided it just wasn’t worth it.

Amenities and atmosphere was really good. Pool has a gorgeous view and location was really good for access to the main city center.

As a holiday guest not a working visitor each morning was horrible hearing the doors slam at the hallway locations for each person as they went to work making it impossible to sleep. It should be asked what the purpose of the booking is for and holiday guests and working guest should be in different areas.

Great location - close to Plaza España/Opera metro. Clean, quiet and modern interior. Young and contemporary vibe. Complementary water and snack on the first day which was appreciated due to the heat. All in all, great value for money!

Due to time constraints we didn't have time to try the pool. However, even though it's cool that the pool is located on the roof, it is "bottomless" (i.e. glas floor with views from under the building). It seemed a bit invasive for those wearing bikinis. More a 'good to know' than a deal breaker.

The hotel is excellent, located right next to the Royal palace. The room is spacious, with a large and very comfortable bed, and the bathroom amenities are of very high quality. They provide shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, hand gel, and a lotion cream for hands and body. The room is equipped with a coffee machine, and capsules are replenished daily. Water is also provided. The staff is very polite and attentive. The entire city center of Madrid is within walking distance. A metro station and a mall are about a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. There are also shops and restaurants nearby.

The only thing I didn’t like was that in the inner garden, people gather late into the evening ( till 01.00 pm), which can be noisy.

The atmosphere of the hotel is amazing! Staff is super friendly, facilities in general were good and clean. It's well located in the city centre. The breakfast is complete with many options.

There were things that made us feel a bit uneasy during the stay. The soundproofing between the room and the corridor is poor. The energy went off during the night for a few times, which made an automatic emergency light turn on and not allow us to sleep. The rooms can be accessed straight from the streets (only the lifts have a security measure). All these combined contributed for us feeling a bit unsafe.

Great stay and lovely staff! Mentioned that one of us had a birthday while staying there and the staff made mention of this by leaving a nice card and also a couple of drinks vouchers. Really nice pool on the roof. Not a massive pool but enough to dunk yourself and cool off. Great location and an easy 10mins walk into the city centre. Also located right by a metro station with easy access to the airport. Other reviews say that they had issues with the lighting but we found it absolutely fine!

Nothing much to not like. The lift was quite slow so when it was busy it took a while to wait for the doors to open.

The space is fantastic, there is a lot of open space in several different areas where you can work, relax, socialize… The breakfast buffet was very tasty and had several different options. 10 out of 10. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The gym is actually very well equipped and clean. The outdoor jungle gym plus boxing bag is an extremely good addition. The rooftop terrace is very nice, as well as the pool. The room was clean and very comfortable.

The only minor detail that could improve is letting guests know when they check in that the sunbeds aren’t available on certain days, and that you actually need to pay extra.

I loved the location - very close to the metro stop and walkable distance from the centre. We didn't get breakfast included but it is very convenient to pop into their cafe to get a coffee and a croissant in the morning. The pool was great too and was a lifesaver during the heat, however, it does get busy quickly and hard to find a space near it. I suggest visiting the pool in the morning for a morning dip, this is the perfect time to avoid more people. Also, the staff is SUUPER helpful and incredibly friendly, which didn't go unnoticed.

Everything was great - pool water was a bit murky though and cocktails are way too expensive for pre-mixes, but I understand you pay the pool tax this way.

Excellent amenities, staff is so friendly and helpful, the rooftop bar/pool is great to relax in, rooms are basic but equipped with everything you need. The most attractive part about this hotel is the social aspect, the communal spaces. It really feels like a community. Excellent location as well, walkable distance to central Madrid and good transport links

The AC in my room wasn't working but the staff was very helpful and got me moved to a new room

Good location, a 15 minute walk to Gran Vía and la puerta del sol. The hotel has a truly original and unique style, it is worth spending time exploring and discovering the different parts. The room was big enough, always cleaned before we came back from our day out. Pool is small but enjoyable.

No openable window in the room Bathroom sink in the room, while the shower and toilet are in a separate area. Weird design but you get used to it. The AC leaked through the ceiling one night.
