The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant. The place was spotless, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The bed was so comfortable.

However, considering the price point, the room felt a bit cramped, making it difficult to move around easily. Additionally, I could hear when people talking outside the room, which can be disturbing. Another downside was that it wasn't easy to find the hotel initially due to the lack of clear signage outside. The street has many hotels, so I had to check the building number each time I wanted to enter the hotel.

Everything was fab - from the location, the staff to the room itself. A lot of extras as well such as water bottles, mini fridge, tote bags, etc. The staff was amazing from the time we booked until we left.

Sometimes we’d request not to clean the room as it’s still clean, and we’d like to save the environment (as per the sign) so the towels did not need to be changed. The room would still be cleaned. Not a big deal but one of our empty boxes on the floor was taken out, and we’re wondering how they’d know the box was empty. It was, but preferred it that they just take out the contents in the bins, nothing else. Especially when we requested not to clean the room that day.

Instant communication on booking, from Laura, who was great! Superb modern room with amazing shower and other facilities. Laura helped with bag storage, coffee machine, and use of toilet when collecting bag later in day. Location just off Gran Via, plenty of shopping/food outlets on same street. Museums walkable, not far from gran via metro. Tea making facilities in room, good aircon & modern tv.

Bit on the expensive side, but was Madrid on spanish national day, and i booked same day.

This is just basically just a room - small but it’s got a very comfortable bed, very clean, good shower, nice staff (not 24 hours but enough). It is very clean. There is a lift but only to 1-1/2 and so you’ll need to take suitcases up a short flight. Tea in the room (not coffee). Excellent location and quite near the metro.

1/2 flight stairs - not a big deal but unexpected. Dark hallway downstairs. Plugs hard to get to. Nothing that was very significant.

The room was clean and the towels were changed daily. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great. The cleaning crew made sure it was cleaned daily.

We could hear everything happening on the hallway and at reception and the room had obvious signs of wear such as staining on what seemed to be water leakage on the ceiling as well as peeling of the skirting board in certain corners.

The room was very clean, shower was very good. Very compact but sufficient for 2 nights.

At first the location was scary - it is a very old building in Centro and outside the building it was indicated it was a hostel as well as a hotel. The entrance was very dark until you knew where the lights were. It worked out great - the location was truly central and the staff was responsive. First glance was not good...

Bang in the middle of Chueca, ideal to go out. Recently renovated, large room, super clean, great staff.

Nothing major. Maybe the rooms feel a bit cold and impersonal (more deco needed?). Also, being bang in the middle of Chueca on a busy street, if you have a room facing it, you’ll definitely need earplugs at weekends. Finally, I understand that Madrid has become expensive and this place is as central as it gets, still, I think that the room price is a tiny little bit to high for what’s offered (when I was there 184€ for a double for single use, per night). Nevertheless I would certainly recommend this place!

One of the main reasons why this trip to Spain was so wonderful was this hotel. After booking, I received a clear and warm message. The rooms were very clean. The furnishings were clean and easy to use, and the service was good, including the ability to watch Netflix. There was a lot of attention to detail. In addition to the amenities, it was nice to receive souvenirs such as chocolates! The entrance was dark and a bit unsettling, but inside was very safe.

Great location, room was a good size, shower was great, friendly staff, in a lively neighbourhood, quiet inside the building for a great nights sleep.

Lack of sockets, there were wifi sockets by the bed but no socket in the bedroom for devices that required a normal plug socket
