So much character, good sized room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Self check in as onsite staff only in the earlier part of the day. Lovely dinner - not onsite - they took us to a sister hotel which is very pretty, about 10 mins away (Rosalia) . Nice breakfast. Gave us a slight head start on the final day of the Camino Portuguese as 4 kms out of Padrón itself (along a busy main road). Honesty mini bar in lounge with juice, beer etc (didn't use but prices looked good). A few basic places to eat within walking distance.

Just to note that the off-site dinner option may be outside some people's budget and there is no info in advance. We loved it, and it was a treat for our last night before finishing the Camino, but a sample menu in the room would be a good idea.

I loved the quaint and peaceful hotel - lovely old stone home. It was clean, tasteful and comfy. The location was perfect - just off the Camino Santiago trail - a restaurant and convenience store down the road was really handy. The continental breakfast was very convenient to start off a long day of walking.

It was a hot day so the lack of air conditioning was a minus. Opened the window but a couple flies came inside - so it would be good if there was a screen to prevent insects from coming in.

This was a very beautiful building with lovely grounds and a very good breakfast. The common room was a nice place to sit.

We found the room quite hot and the location was a bit remote, but we knew that when we chose it. This was the most expensive place we stayed on the Camino, but was not the best place we stayed. I would still recommend it for the experience of the building itself.

A beautiful rustic building with a downstairs common room and minibar. Lovely garden. Friendly staff.

The building was hard to find behind a gas station and cafeteria. Better signage would be helpful. Also the pull out bed in our family suite was very uncomfortable and we had to ask for bedding. Also there was a light that came on by the door at night which was annoying and made it hard to sleep.

The house was amazing!! And the lady in the property prepared the best breakfast . The time that we spent to get the house was time saved for the next day.

It was little far from Padrón so we spent the day in the village till the evening a walk to the property about 16:00 and it took us one hour to get there..

I was completely surprised by this rather special out of the way place . The receptionist was so welcoming and allowed me to change my room to one with more sunlight ( I ‘d arrived early after a long Camino walk) so that could enjoy resting in the warmth . She then brought me generous refreshments in the garden . Breakfast was very good. This is a simple but very hospitable place- just a few rooms, but perfect for the last night before walking into Santiago de Compostela. The big hotels could learn a lot from these little places about hospitality . It sounds a bit ominous going down to the restaurant next to a petrol station for dinner but this worked well- and I loved walking in orchard on the farm where this gem of a hotel is located. Highly recommended. Gentle and special

I loved this place . Perfect.

- the staff is extremely helpful and kind, they took us to the restaurant nearby and brought back - breakfast is fulfilling - castle atmosphere - quiet

- there were 3 small spiders in the bathroom and one cockroach in the room. But I guess it’s an add for “Rural” hotel… :) for me it was not a big issue.

4 KM north of Padrón. Well located for an early arrival in Santiago. A nice, clean room with a good shower. Surprisingly quiet given the location. Nice breakfast.

The walk from Padron is alongside a busy road. Situated behind a petrol station. The only local catering is the rest stop cafeteria. Poor wifi.

This was a little treat for me after a few days on the Camino. The welcome was warm and the property amazing. My room was beautiful and clean and very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and a real treat and prepared freshly at my chosen time. I liked the proximity to a local restaurant (although didn't eat there) and gas station, which sold all the provisions I needed for that night. I was offered dinner (€20-30?) and the menu looked lovely but I'm vegetarian so it didn't suit me. I was happy to snaxk from th gas station and enjoy the tranquility of the room.

As always, I wish there was a fridge. Also, not totally suitable for pilgrims needing to wash clothes etc. This is not a complaint, just observation. Also, pilgrims, be aware, this is the other side of a busy road so you need to cross twice.

The breakfast was good, although the melon was past its prime. The coffee was the best part and the server was excellent. The owner drove us to a restaurant/hotel that they own which was lovely (but pricier than expected). The drive was longer than expected so we didn't return to the Casa until late.

The location is off the Camino, which, while it wasn't far, you had to cross a very busy highway (twice--to and from) and walk a distance to find a safe place to cross.
