Our recent visit to the Gold by Marina hotel in Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria was an experience that surpassed all our expectations. This hotel deserves nothing less than a five-star review for the flawless services and amenities it offered during our stay. The location of the hotel is second to none. Nestled in the heart of Playa del Ingles, it is only a short, pleasant stroll away from the pristine beach and a diverse selection of restaurants. This made for a great variety of daytime and evening activities, satisfying the tastes of both beach-lovers and food connoisseurs. The hotel's pool area was one of our favorite spots. With a sizeable, sparkling clean pool and ample sunbeds, it was a haven for relaxation and sun-soaking. What truly elevated the experience was the indulgent jacuzzi. After a day of exploring, nothing beat coming back to unwind in the warm, bubbling water. The area never felt crowded, and we found it to be a perfect balance of social and tranquil. We stayed in a Junior Suite that truly felt like a home away from home. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. From the sleek modern design to the high-end furnishings, every detail seemed thoughtfully curated to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the guests. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. However, what truly sets Gold by Marina apart is its excellent staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care added a personal touch to our experience, making our stay even more memorable. In conclusion, Gold by Marina offers a truly gold-standard experience – a mix of strategic location, impressive amenities, and exemplary service. A lovely hotel in a central but quiet location. Reception staff were super helpful. The room was comfortable and everywhere in the hotel immaculately clean. The pool facilities were great as was the pool bar and food. We will return .

We have just come back from an amazing week at this hotel. I have never stayed anywhere so clean, they're constantly cleaning the pool areas etc. The breakfast was amazing, and the food we ate at the pool bar was always fabulous! All the staff are really friendly and they go above and beyond. While we were there we enjoyed the Monday night managers meeting where there was live music, complimentary drinks and nibbles. The location is great, there's a supermarket next door and your about 5mins from the beach. We would 100% stay here again.

Excellent hotel in every respect and the staff are truly exceptional. The facilities are first rate and the tireless staff ensure their guests are completely satisfied. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in and the rooms are expertly designed with practical and thoughtful care & attention to every detail. This attention to detail extends throughout - especially around the pools and on the sun decks - it’s all so comfortable and spacious.

I can’t honestly think of anything I didn’t like.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean large and very comfortable rooms. Large pool and sheltered from the wind. Great buffet breakfast. Pool side bar and snacks. Good Jacuzzi and Sauna. They will try to provide a late check but if not possible will store you luggage in a lock room and provide you a room for 30mins to freshen up before leaving if late after noon. This was great for me as I left late afternoon and was able to enjoy the day by the pool, freshened up and headed to the airport. Other benefits its very central and easy to get to everywhere, CITA, Jumbo and beach are a 10min walk, short taxi ride is best to Maspalomas beach

Its not I didnt like more could be better if (1)Sauna was hotter, (2) pool side bar stayed open later. (3) the atrium area is a nice spot and one even there was a tapas and drinks evening arranged by the hotel, should try do more in that area.

Super friendly staff. you can download an app and communicate with the hotel staff via chat. The staff usually responded within 30mins and the requests we asked for - one related to changing single bedding to a double bedding sheet - were attended to within the hour. Super great service. Also, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Cava and a red bottle of wine was waiting for us in our room, it's these kinds of small gestures that made our stay very pleasant :)

There's not much to do in the area, mostly filled with other hotels and restaurants.

Nice and modern hotel with a lot of “happy” colors. Rooms are big and a nice view from the balcony. The hotel is very clean. A nice small kitchen with free coffee. Every day we also got some candy. Breakfast is great and have a big variety of all you need for a good morning. Breakfast is open until 12:00. Restaurant and pool area is very clean. The pool area is not to crowed and have some small private areas. We ate lunch in the restaurant every day and the menu was great. All the staff is very service minded. Specially waiter Geiler was very friendly and service minded - he made us feel comfortable. We had our “own private” parking space for our rented car which was perfect since it can be challenging to find parking spaces on the street. The hotel is close to everything - the beach and Jumbo mall

Instead of the fancy sofa in the room it would have been great with a sofa with more comfort. The beds are not comfortable at all !

Breakfast was excellent! The staff very nice, you feel that you Are welcome here. The Pool area awesome! This was our third trip to this hotel, and we will come back!

Hmm… The Chill Out music at the Pool with the DJ on Sundays could be a little more interesting, it was like «It goes on and goes on..» More party Up and Then down would be better, but that`s me… That´s all I have to say negative about our stay. And that tells a lot. -A wonderful stay at Hotel Gold!

The location could not be better, literally about a 5 minute walk from Yumbo - but completely quiet and peaceful. The hotel is one of the few on the island that has been fully renovated, and the staff is absolutely lovely. Beautiful spacious rooms and plenty of amazing hangout places within the hotel - absolutely beautiful pool, terrace, and seating area on the first floor

Honestly everything was great, the rooms were a bit pricey compared to what else you can find on the island but I think it's worth it considering the quality of what you are getting and the fact that it's been renovated.

The location was great, we loved the vibe and decor of the place. It really felt like it was designed around me. The breakfast was good, as was lunch by the pool. Also loved the two pool areas, and found the gym had everything I needed.

Proportions in the bathroom were unusual compared with other hotels I've stayed in. Overall it felt small, but the shower was huge!
