This was our third time at the Atlantic Sun Beach, and we really enjoyed it. They’ve made significant improvements to the facilities, and the resort now has a renewed large pool, a heated jacuzzi and a sauna. They’ve also started offering a complimentary breakfast that includes drinks (usually orange juice or chocolate milk), cereal bars, fresh local bread, fresh fruits, jams and spreads. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with a bottle of Freixenet Cava. The apartments have a large bedroom, a private bathroom, a large kitchen with all the facilities you could possibly need, a safe, and a lovely terrace/balcony located pool side. Everything was meticulously cleaned when we arrived and regularly during our stay. The resort is located in the heart of Gran Canaria’s gay scene and only few steps away from the Yumbo Centre, Cita shopping centre, the promenade and the dunes. It’s basically central to everything! The staff is amazing and definitely goes the extra mile to keep customers happy. Pedro brightened up our holiday and made us feel at home since the very first moment we set foot into the resort. His level of kindness and customer service is simply incredible. He cleaned our apartment from top to bottom; he gave us advice on what to do on the island; he took care of us with a professionalism and a friendliness that we’ve never found in any other place. If we could give him 10 stars, we would! We definitely recommend this resort to everyone and can’t wait to go back. A big shout out to Pedro for making our holiday pleasant and great!

Great location and amazing pool

- The receptionist Pedro was really professional and nice, always ready to help you. - Location: to me was really good, in between the dunes and the centre - Pool: it was good however nothing exceptional - Quietness: it depends, overall is very quiet, but my room was very close to the jacuzzi so during the night there was a constant noise coming from that, water pipes or whatever that is

Great location. Very peaceful. All the reviews about cleanliness and staff friendliness are true. Spotless room, nice pool area, a bottle of water and cava waiting in the room upon arrival, and a small breakfast - with the most delicious bread - left at our door every morning.

I lovely were it was located and how you had everything you need within the hotel, the staff were were amazing especially Raul and Rodrigo who couldn’t do enough for you.

It was quiet and very comfortable. Our room was splendid opening out to our patio and the pool. Very good location for the beach and 15min walk to the Yumbo centre.

Would have been nice to have a bar available, and also a jacuzzi, but no great hardship. The stairs down to the property were a little troubling for my husband who suffers from Parkinson’s .

Clean immaculate! Fresh fantastic Aircon system I advise to pay premium with added bottle of champagne bottle of wine! Coffee machine and two bath robes and slippers! Quite secure safe and cleaning staff are fantastic! Staff are fantastic and very helpful nothing is too much trouble professional and pay great attention to detail with your room. Every morning you are given a breakfast which is left on the outside of your room door. Pool is fantastic and clean. This place is a hidden gem of excellence! Safe and friendly! My second time here and hopefully many more! 10/10!

Nothing to fault

Really nice hotel, could not fault anything. Hotel is quiet and peaceful with a lovely pool area, nice touch having a smaller hamper on my door every morning with fruit etc. wish I could of stayed longer.

There was nothing that we didn’t like and enjoy about our ten night stay at Atlantic Sun Beach. The small complex is really relaxing and located in a lovely quiet area, but within easy walking distance of the Yumbo Centre, the dunes and gay beach. We arrived out of the reception hours, but that was not a problem at all. The communication from the staff at Atlantic Sun Beach was excellent and we knew exactly how to access our wrist band to access the complex and our room. It couldn’t have been easier. Our room on the first floor had everything we needed and was kept lovely and clean by the friendly lads that work there. The bed was a super king size and was really comfortable, we slept really well. The pool towels were really nice to have and were changed whenever we asked for some. The pool area is a lovely place to chill and get an all over tan. Some other posts have mentioned the staircase to the adjoining complex that overlooks the pool area, but it really wasn’t an issue in the ten days we were at Atlantic Sun Beach. Nobody seemed to be bothered that there were guys sunbathing naked. We booked our transfers with Atlantic Sun Beach and it was really reassuring that a member of staff (Sorry I don’t know his name) had the foresight to make sure that our return transfer was altered to avoid the road closures for the huge parade. I was totally unaware that it could have been in issue, but he clearly was on top of things and made sure we got to the airport on time. We really appreciated his professionalism. So would we return to stay at Atlantic Sun Beach? Absolutely, we wouldn’t think twice and will be back again next year.
