Hotel was great, pools, restaurants, bars & staff all 10/10 Gym could do with some free weights.

Area surrounding the hotel was very run down, lots of abandoned shops, beach front area was also the same. Quite a dodgy tourist area. Further down the beach is nicer

The average age in this hotel is 60+, it’s too quiet, no music during the day, no entertainment except from the night music shows (too many German songs) and short, but beautiful piano concerts. The staff in the main restaurant is very moody- if you come half an hour before closing time, you won’t be welcome. Also, they don’t speak English well- quite often our orders were mixed up. German language is the preferred and commonly used one. The pools are too small and too crowded, all sun beds are reserved from the early morning and a lot of them are not used for many hours while other people have no place to sit and relax. We don’t recommend this hotel for families with teenagers or young people. We’ve been to many RIU hotels all over the world and have never been in as quiet and this one.

Everything was perfect. It exceeded my expectations. The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was comfortable with wide bathroom. The food was very diverse and tasty. The swimming pools were very clean and water was warm. But the surprise for me was that we received a bottle of Champagne for the birthday of my wife. We haven't ordered it because it was too early but the Hotel has my admiration about being thoughtfull and for showing Class. I will recommend the place to my friends and I personaly like to be their gest again.

Great variety and quality of dishes for all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinners) Very attentive, helpful and friendly staff (particularly at the restaurant and specially Luciano) Overall, clean premises (room, shower, corridors, reception hall, elevators, gym area, pool...)

Although the staff taking care of the swimming pool confirmed the temperature was set up around 23-24 C, we found it was not enough warm given the weather conditions at this time of the year.

Reception staff, excellent. Housekeeping staff, excellent, restaurant staff, excellent. Food, excellent. Overall experience, very impressed.

There should have been more facilities for children. Should have played more music. Evening entertainment could have been more varied and better quality. One act was excellent while the three others were rather poor.

I really liked the hotel very much and I will stay again. The hotel staff are very friendly, I like the hotel restaurant very much, and the cleanliness of the room is also very good.

My room is on the 7th floor. There should be a "central air-conditioning system" upstairs on the 7th floor. Every morning at 6H30, the hotel's air-conditioning main unit starts to work. The operation of the air-conditioning makes the furniture in the whole room vibrate, and the room becomes very quiet. , I didn't notice this phenomenon at first, in the early morning of one of my stay, I found this phenomenon. The noise of that machine was really annoying. I wanted to change rooms, but because I was about to leave soon, I held back, and I will definitely not stay in that room next time.

The hotel is finished to a very high standard. Staff have been exceptionally well selected (especially room attendant -503 -who was quite a perfectionist). Always something enjoyable at the buffet.

Hard to find anything, but if I have to find something, it would be to request more variety of fresh fruit on offer at the buffet. People reserving sun loungers by torchlight (5.30am), though it was a joy one morning to see the attendant collecting everything left on loungers to reserve them, replaced by a notice stating loungers not to be reserved before 9am. Thank you, more of this please.

Outstanding. Excellent service, very friendly staff, excellent food, heated pools were amazing, excellent rooms. I was impressed by outstanding level of cleanliness everywhere in the hotel (rooms, restaurant, space by the pool, communal areas and the toilets by the pool). Very impressive hotel

The staff (reception, restaurant and cleaning) was amazing and super friendly! Very nice and clean hotel. Neutral modern interior. Expected more decoration to make it more special. Also: the lights in the bedrooms were not really cosy (too white and too bright) . The food at the buffet was OK. You have a lot of choice. I was not a big fan of the desserts but maybe that’s too personal. Maybe add some sorbet ice cream instead of milk-based ice cream. Also had the worst Rosé wine ever. Please change it! You have the chance to eat twice a week at the Krystal Restaurant (a la carte). Again.. good service and good food (better meat than at the buffet restaurant)! I just did not really like the interior very much. It was a bit dull and there was no music in the background. The area of the hotel was very calm and not so far from the dunes of Maspalomas. There is not much to see in this area except the beautiful dunes. Honestly… for young people this is such a boring area! Very old fashioned bars and restaurants. But I recommend to plan some activities in Gran Canaria. Other than a few details.. this hotel is really nice! I still think the staff is doing an amazing job. Never saw this before. They deserve a pay raise 😅.

The fact that people put their towels on the sunbeds early in the morning. But I guess every sunny all-in hotel has this problem.
