This is a clean, welcoming old style hotel. Not glitz and glam and sterile like so many are these days. For anyone who enjoys old style class, this is the place for you. It has heart , and it is obvious that it is a family run business because of the pride and attention to detail shown, right down to the fresh flowers they put on the door steps each day welcoming you in.. This is an affordable hotel, that offers excellent quality, a wonderful location , a nice adjoining restaurant directly on a beautiful vibrant square directly opposite an impressive church. I was in room 31 and the green light in that room was quite bright. I covered it with my top which worked to hide it.

The location of this hotel is superb & the hotel itself is an old building that has been updated... It is stunning I had a room overlooking the square & it was huge (room 115) & I could also see Mount Teide... Everything was clean & presentable! We had lunch at the hotel on the first day (not included as we were b&b & it was very good! At night we went to Indian Crown & that was amazing! (About a 10 minute walk). The food was outstanding! The breakfast at the hotel was good, enough choices but the hot water machine wasn't working properly, but not too much of an issue. We had a hire car which we parked about 100m away in the underground car park - 15e for 24 hours! Which is good considering the parking is terrible in the town. I would definitely return, the hotel & the town itself is stunning! You must do the mountain trip - the views were fantastic!

I'm very surprised that there were not any tea/coffee facilities in the hotel but on our travels most hotels now don't have them! Being a bit picky here - I like my fried eggs cooked fresh - not left in a hot serving dish & I prefer the bacon cooked more - but hey, that's just me! You won't be disappointed here!

The hotel is as central as you can get. The staff were very friendly. I wouldn't be put off by the bell in the square as it doesn't sound during the night and is much more pleasant to wake up to than an alarm. Would definitely stay again.

The pool is quite small so may not be the best choice for children but spot on for adults

The tomato garlic sauce and very attentive staff. They try to satisfy breakfast appetite's from various cultures on that buffet. Excellent service. Great to enjoy a sauna in the winter!

A bit more fruits or salads at the buffet. Better internet/wifi in rooms needed. Sauna times in late evening hours much better for people after day hikes.

We really enjoyed our stay.The reviews we read before booking were good so we new exactly what to expect. Breakfast was OK, lacked staff while we were breakfasting.

I was particularly looking forward to having a sauna which wasn't operating correctly during our stay. The pool was a nice size and surprisingly heated.

This is a heritage, elegant hotel with an amazing indoor patio/atrium. It is situated right in the heart of the old city in a beautiful square with lots of bars, shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The hotel's own outdoor café is a great spot for coffees, snacks and people watching until late into the night. Lovely buffet breakfast every morning, nice pool area, friendly and helpful staff.

The bedrooms are in real need of being refurbished. My single room was very, very small! Wifi was OK but very slow.

Location was ideal for a short stay, and the welcome was friendly and very helpful. The indoor garden area on the ground floor was calming and inviting and gave a great first impression.

Although the hotel was pet friendly, it was not ideal when the people next door ( 202) left their two dogs in the room which constantly yapped early in the morning when they went down for breakfast or when they went out in the afternoon and everyone else’s peace was disturbed. Otherwise we liked everything else about it.

Impressive architecture with wooden balconies and an inner patio, which was nicely illuminated during Christmas time. Old church of Nuestra Señora de la Peña de Francia right across the street. Breakfast room with sea view.

The church nearby rings the bells every quarter of an hour from 7 am onwards (but stops during the night). The street is a bit noisy until 23h or so. The shower was a bit loose. At breakfast, you regulrly have to ask for more fruit, and there was not much to choose from.

Amazing historical property. I was amazed by the design of the hotel. Room design a little old school. However comfortable, cold which is great in hot weather, great area for side-seeing the town. Lots of street art and old streets. Next to a lovely church. Run as a family business. Friendly stuff. Breakfast could be better.

Breakfast could have more vegetables. Was little poor choice.

The location was really good in a very centric, beautiful and lively square. We had a room with a view to the sea and not directly towards the swimming pool, which gave us a bit more privacy. It was also very close to the free parking area, that the staff was very good at informing us about, as we had parked the car in the quite expensive parking next to the hotel.

The bathroom was very small and not very practical with no place to hang towels and not much water coming out of the shower. A bit pity that the jacuzzi only can be used until eight o'clock, as it would be nice after a long day trip to make use of it. The breakfast could be lifted a bit up with fresh orange juice in stead of the artificial orange drink. Specially in Spain where oranges are so accessible.
