The room was perfect for our 3 night stay, there was heating/ air conditioning & the hot water for the shower was great temperature. There was also a TV which was nice for when we wanted to relax about walking around all day & the facilities in the hostel were great. I was able to borrow a hairdryer from the front desk which was very helpful, the staff were so friendly and lovely the whole time. I also liked all of the bright & colourful artwork around the hostel, it was a nice touch. The best part of the stay was the complimentary breakfast which included juice, tea, coffee, yoghurt, fruit, bread/ croissants, cheese, jams, and you could use a toaster or toastie machine to make toast. It was great for us as we were on a small budget just wanting to see Sevilla and having the free breakfast was great way for us to save money & get something to at before heading out for the day :) The place was also very clean & well maintained, thank you to all the staff!

The only thing I would comment on is there was a bad smell coming from our toilet so must be something to do with the pipes because it was there when we fist arrived and wouldn't go away, we just kept the bathroom door shut and that helped.

Breakfast time starts from 7:30am which is very convienent to those who has early day trips to nearby towns. Breakfast is basic but enough. You can have toasts, hams, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, coffee and tea etc. Free tea and coffee 24hrs, you are free to enjoy it at the common area or at your own room. You have to return keys at counter every time when you get out. 24hrs front desk. There is a terrace where you can enjoy a chill evening. Staff are very nice and helpful. Location is good, 20mins walk from Autobuse station (Plaza de Armas), 15 mins to train station and 850M from city centre. We visited all the scenic spots by foot from our hotel. Very close to one of the scenic spot: Metropol Parasol Supermarket Dia was nearby. Wifi good.

Great location, clean room with comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff who spoke English, excellent value for money with buffet breakfast included, 24 hour check in and able to leave luggage after checking out of our room. When we reported a repair was needed it was fixed straight away. Hot drinks were available free of charge in the breakfast room and cold bottled water and soft drinks could be purchased at a reasonable price.

The en-suite was dated with a shower curtain not a shower enclosure but there was probably no room for a shower enclosure as the ensuite was small. It was clean and functional. There was no full length hanging space and no outside window. The patio doors opened onto an empty room. It would have been good to have coffee sachets available as well as tea bags so you could make coffee as well as tea after the urn was empty.

Very organized and clean. Personal things are secure in their storage. Room gets cleaned everyday. The staff is amazing, they are very courteous and attentive. The terrace was such a nice place to hang out too after a full day of walking.

The shower curtain needs to be replaced with something else. It's very uncomfortable showering in a tiny shower with the curtain sticking in your body the whole time. Water splashes everywhere too in the bathroom. And there is no foot mat provided so we had to use a hand towel for the floor. Breakfast could also be improved. Maybe add eggs or something.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. Rooms were lovely. Its exactly like the photos on Booking.com. Not to mention the staff were superb! All in all, everything was great!! We had a flat tyre the morning while going out for breakfast before checkout which delayed our checkout. They allowed us to settle the tyres first and to check out late. Really grateful for that. Hope to come back here again. Carvoeiro is such a charming town!

Hostal Santa Catalina has a great location, from there you can walk 5 to 15 minutes to see beautiful landmarks, or you can take several bus lines right outside the hostal. Most of all the staff has the best attention and you feel safe there.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the shower in our room, it was very small and it was a pain having to bend to get the soap and shampoo, and the shower curtain stuck to your body while you were showering, that’s was not nice. Other than that’s everything was perfect.

The front desk staff was really awesome, very friendly and always attentive and helpful. We talked quite a bit with Carlos and he gave us lots of great tips. The beds were very comfortable. The location was excellent. Breakfast was adequate, enough to start your day with fresh coffee, oranges and yogurts as our favorites. Note that we prefer to choose no-frills places that are affordable, clean, well-located with comfortable beds and Hostal Santa Catalina delivered. The terrace on the roof is a nice place to have a drink in the evening.

The bathroom in our room was quite small and spartan (no bath mat or shampoo) but everything worked. If I could wish for 1 change for breakfast, it would be better quality cheese.

We literally booked this hotel 5 minutes before arriving and were pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Very friendly reception who checked us in and told us about the area. There was a lift so no need to carry our bags up. The room was a good size and bed was very comfortable. The wife worked well and no issues with hot water for a shower. The breakfast was excellant and we didn't leave the hotel hungry.

Our room was close to the square and there was a bit of noise from late night revellers. It's probably just a matter of asking for a room not facing the square next time.

Location location location. It's in the old town, you can reach pretty much everything on foot. There's a nice roof terrace. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We loved making toast sandwiches for breakfast. And we even had our rooms cleaned (unexpected in the hostel).

Expensive parking. Tiny rooms. We had two rooms - one had broken doors to the bathroom. Would love to see some refurbishment. But hey - the price / location ratio is incredible. You shouldn't expect it to be top-notch and fresh new for what you're paying.

Friendly and helpful staff Great location, buses not needed, it is more comfortable to walk Towels available - saves a lot of space in the backpack Nice terrace on the top floor 24/7 open reception, you leave the keys there everytime you go out Great value

No shampoo or shower gel but this is just a minor No blankets but this is probably normal since its usually so hot in Seville
