The Hotel was like a little Spanish haven, quaint and traditional. Breakfast was basic continental but for 3euro50 a bargain and sufficient. Rooms were clean and staff very attentive and polite. Carpets needed a hoovering in the hallway but again, no big deal. Location brilliant, albeit in the narrowest of streets for taxis to get in and out. Never saw the bar but then I didn't look for one either. If you're after a quirky, simple room/hotel this ticks all the boxes. My room was at the front (2nd floor) and very quiet at night....I'd definitely go back. I asked for a double bed and got one. First ever Solo trip abroad and absolutely loved it! I want to go back there.

I booked a taxi through the site and my pick up was so big he nearly got stuck, in fact he did damage his mirror and I felt awful so gave him a 10euro tip! Booking.com, you should make these taxis aware of the narrow route. My only gripe is I love waking to a coffee so nothing in the room however breakfast was served so quickly I had my coffee fix asap. And cafe's and bars were so close anyway. My shower head wasn't hanging properly so I used it by hand, didn't bother reporting it as I loved the place and made do as it worked ok. Finally my bedside socket was really stiff, so I had to use adapters elsewhere in bathroom and bedroom, as there were enough.

Excellent location. Near ol the attractions but relatively quiet. Though in Seville you really do not need to stay in the old center - because it's so renovated that the feeling is almost lost in theese quarters. Clean and fresh room. Large bathroom. Beautiful setting with decorated atrium. Great value when you book early!

Bed could have been comfier. There is a practice school for flamenco in the building during the evenings så bring earplugs if you go to bed early.

A beautiful heritage building in an amazing location in the heart of Seville. Quiet and spacious. It has a gentle home feeling about it. The staff were very lovely. We were able to sit in the foyer in the afternoon after check out, before catching our flight. They also held our bags. It was a really amazing help. Great clean bathroom.

The bed was quite uncomfortable for us. Springy and flat pillows. It was also quite a light filled room at night with only very thin curtains. We unfortunately didn’t sleep well.

The location of the Hotel was excellent eg very central but you needed to make a clear route map in your head to avoid getting lost in the narrow streets. Reception was always helpful and breakfast provided the best coffee experienced in three weeks in Portugal and Spain. I was impressed by the traditional look of the building eg the many tiled walls.

Unfortunately, the room was on the third floor, and at my age, some people would not have coped. The bathroom had a strange arrangement sitting on the toilet was only possible with one leg under the wash basin. I did wonder if the room was really meant for teenage children.

What is not to like? You are in the Sensational City of Seville. The architecture alone is stunning. Very narrow streets, unique buildings are authentic and entire area resembles a maze, very easy to get lost. The staff upon was pleasant and charming, they informed me upon arrival that the entire complex has no power. Everything is within the circumference: shops, restaurants, cafes. The gastronomy will satisfy your belly. My quarters for two nights was spectacular, very clean, the bed was comfortable with enough blankets for chilly nights. The bathroom was spotless. Overall I was completely satisfied with my stay. Be expecting to walk everywhere which is great for exercise. 'Museo del baile Flamenco' was literally a hop, skip and jump away (a must). The Christmas decorations throughout city was awe inspiring and cool to see how widely celebrated it is. Lots of beautiful people from different nationalities enjoying the festivities.

The first night of no power throughout establishment resulted in a restless sleep (part of experience). Very crowded with tourists but it was all worth it.

I stayed in El Centro at Hostal Sierpes which was 2 to 10 minutes walk from all the major sites. In other words, this was a great location. This is a hostel but also a hotel which offers many private rooms. The air conditioning was very necessary and was very comforting when I needed to escape the heat of Seville. The staff were so friendly and compassionate. Especially Victoria and Miguel. Hostal Sierpes currently is known as a one-star accommodation. With people like Victoria, Miguel and the super friendly housekeeping staff (Geovanna) make you feel so welcome, I have to say that I felt like I was at a five-star hotel. Muchas gracias to the staff at Hostal Sierpes ❣️

There was nothing not to like. I very much enjoyed my entire stay.

The first impression of the location was wonderful, as the narrow streets leading to the hotel added character and atmosphere of the area. On arrival the hotel staff were very welcoming and very helpful.

Some necessary renovations were being carried out which detracts from the overall impression, but this cannot be helped. Some instructions on how to turn on the power and lights, with the extra room key could help.

Lovely staff, good value for money, nice old building, fantastic flamenco next door, in old town

I have an excellent sense of direction but it’s very hard to find. I refuse to use my mobile post Brexit so resorted to maps - best walking route is via Isidore and Corral del Rey is on the corner. My booking.com taxi dropped me at off too far claiming the street was too narrow and it took me 45 mins to find - not the hostal’s fault!

The location was incredible - so close to everything. The staff were just amazing - so eager to help and really made me feel welcome. The room was just lovely - great hot shower, comfy bed. And the DECOR! So Spanish I loved it. The breakfast was simple and lovely - really nice coffee and nice selection of jams.

Nothing - honestly it was perfect.

Lovely Riad-style hotel at a fairly good price, with authentic decor and adornments in common areas. Good basic room, with TV (though only 1 channel had programmes in English), great shower & toilet room. Excellent location - 5-10 minutes walk from most "attractions", but off the main thoroughfares so not so noisy in the evenings/at night. Breakfasts available when wanted - reasonable price, though a little sparse on food. Helpful staff.

Noise from adjacent room's shower/toilet room extractor fan and from inevitable door slamming (due to door lock system) at night. No lift to upper floors.
