Very friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately our room had a shutter that didn't pull down and only a very flimsy light curtain meaning the room was very light at night. Reception immediately sent maintenance to try and fix the shutter. Unfortunately they couldn't repair it and although we had to spend one night in the room as no others available we were moved the next day. Fantastic shower, really powerful. Good breakfast. Great location for all the old town sights, restaurants etc.

Poor sleep on first night due to no curtains and shutter. Only two sockets in the room.

The rate was super - we had two rooms - arranged very last minute. Breakfast was good - not amazing but more than enough for the modest cost. Provision of a special parking rate for parking close to hotel was a great bonus. Staff were very helpful. A fun place to stay because of the decor - film scenes. Great toiletries - Ritual brand which was very nice. Would highly recommend these hotels for other city stays.

For the price, facilities nothing not to like - a slow lift perhaps! Website a bit clunky in trying to arrange two types of rooms on single booking but it was doable!

The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive. Plus, the hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to attractions and restaurants. While my overall experience at this hotel was positive, I couldn't help but notice that the hotel appears outdated and could benefit from a renovation. The room and common areas could use a refresh in terms of design and furniture, as they seem a bit dated.

The service, how they care about you, but without going over the extra mile, which is pretty good 😊 The breakfast service feels super comfy and the options are plenty. Healthy and savage modes are available. The location is perfect, 8/10, better location is difficult to beat to be honest.

There's only one elevator which, at the busy hours, makes the waiting a bit longer if you have been walking the whole day. The toilets are super small, looks like they did renovations but should have used more space of the room to do the toilet and the shower orientation better, as is it now, the water goes out the shower plate and wets the door which makes it pretty difficult to close, eventually will be impossible.

Clean, comfortable room and bed. The size of the room was perfectly fine. I stayed in the room with the San Francisco Bridge. Also I'm not a fan of Spanish T.V as I couldn't find any English channels but they do have the YouTube app on the T.V (also Netflix) so I managed to watch YouTube instead. Beds were comfortable, Aircon worked great. I stayed 10 days and on arrival received a note and chocolates waiting for me on my bed, then one week later received another lovely note with some lovely boxed jelly sweets and two days later another lovely note with some cake like things, very thoughtful and such kind words. The location was fabulous. I would definitely stay here again

I had breakfast included but only went down to breakfast once. I know the catering industry is suffering since COVID through lack of staff and felt this was the case here as there was only one lady trying to keep the front of house clean and tidy plus top up the breakfast and I could see they really needed an extra person. So if you are more patient than me then breakfast is reasonable. This isn't really a moan as it's expected if staying in the middle of the City. Make sure you're fully clothed if opening the curtains as residential buildings are very close

While the rooms are simple, they are clean, comfortable, and offer incredible value for money, making this hotel a top choice for travelers seeking convenience without compromising on quality. Casual del Cinema stands out as a top recommendation for anyone visiting Valencia, combining cinematic flair with excellent service and a central location that's hard to beat. Amazing location and wonderful staff. The room was very cozy and cool with outdoor balcony. The walls unfortunately a little thin and you can hear guests in the next room. But overall recommend for a 2 night stay its in a centralized location with soo much to do.

-People from the next room banging on my wall because I was on the phone -It was only 22:30 when this happened and I was not even loud on the phone -It happened twice on my first night of arrival and I never had this experience in any hotel in my life -If it were not for this experience, I would have given 10/10 instead of an 8/10

All of the hotel staff are wonderful and went out of their way to help me when I had a problem. The location, while a bit tucked away, is excellent and yards from the metro station that takes you to and from the airport. Yards from the main train station, buses to the Malvarrosa beach and some main attractions. The breakfast was great at well. Also well worth a mention is the cinematic theme throughout the hotel, with posters, murals and artefacts. The bathroom was like a Hollywood dressing room.

As a smartphone and tablet denier, it would have helped if there were public internet terminals. I realise that I am the last standing smartphone denier.

The hotel was a little bit tired but it was clean and the staff were very friendly so it is perfect for a short stay. It is ideally located near all the main tourist areas of Valencia and also within walking distance of public transport for going further afield.

The only issue we had was that it said on their site that there was parking nearby for €17 a day. However, when we picked our car up within 24hrs of parking, the cost was €30!
