superb place with easy access to the town and the train station. spacious rooms and restaurant / ground floor to hangout… tasty food and friendly staff and highly recommend the place for anyone visiting Ella.

I cannot rate this property highly enough , it is absolutely stunning ! it’s brand new , the rooms are gorgeous with views to die for , it’s so peaceful and quiet it’s like a little bit of heaven . the staff are absolutely amazing and they really made our holiday , special mention to the manager , the restaurant manager and of course the chef they couldn’t do enough for us , they were always on hand for any questions we had , and they were so lovely to talk to . we had a delicious breakfast made to order every morning at whatever time we liked ( breakfast is huge btw !) just book it you won’t regret it ! we can’t wait to return :) Thankyou so much to the staff for an amazing 2 nights , and for looking after us exceptionally well xx

If you are looking for the perfect place in Ella to relax, stop looking you’ve found the right hotel. The staff was a real bonus, they are always trying their best to make you feel at home. Regarding the room itself, it’s quite spacious, very clean & the bed will offer you the best sleep. The cubes are truly the highlight of our trip around Sri Lanka. We initially booked one night but came back for 3 more nights. There is a room service and laundry can be done too. Special thanks to Eprival 🙏🏻

The rooms were a bit small but all the facilities included. The food was delicious, thanks to the chef. We spent only one night there and wanted to visit as much placed within that short time duration. If you travel by bus or train better to rent a bike as the location is bit far from ella town. The view was great. Rooms were clean and no any noice comes into rooms from outside. Staff is helpful, specially the experienced staff member who well spoken to each customer is a true gem to the place. Really appreciate his welcoming gesture.

I didn’t like the way one staff member treated us as it was quiet obvious that he treated the customers differently. May be we traveled by a scooter and being a local customer.

That I couldn't stay longer. Due to my travel itinerary, I could only stay just one night. I would have preferred to stay 2-3 nights to enjoy the calm environment.

I recently stayed at The Cubes Ella in Sri Lanka and had a fantastic experience. The attention to detail in every aspect of the accommodation was impressive. The room had a beautiful view and was very comfortable, the cleaning was great, in addition a very special note is related to the staff that was extremely professional, helpful and very kind in having their customer feeling and living a great experience for their stay. The property is set in a beautiful and well-maintained natural setting, which added to the overall charm. I highly recommend The Cubes Ella for a great stay.

Amazing hotel and and even amazing staff! Ameer the property manager is so professional and a pleasure to talk to. He made sure our stay was comfortable throughout and we just felt very welcomed. The food is better than any restaurant in Ella and is made by Primal! It was so delicious that we just ordered in one night and didn't go out. The rooms are modern and beautiful and the view is gorgeous especially from the dining area. I requested that they take special care wrt. to cleaning and insects and they exceeded my expectations. The property is easily accessible via car ( very nice paved road) so if you have a car and driver you don't need to get tuktuks to pick and drop you like in another properties. The service is like a 5 start hotel from the moment you arrive till you leave. 5 min drive to town and overall highly recommended if you are visiting Ella. Just book it and you will be taken care of!!

The washrooms are clean for sure but some renovation would be great to make them match the modern look of the rooms. Otherwise everything is great and functional eg hot water but a little more renovation would make them align with the modern rooms and make it perfect

I stayed at The Cubes for two nights and would stay much longer next time. The room left nothing to be desired: Tasteful decor, comfortable bed and great views of the beautiful Ella countryside. Everything worked: Hot water, Wifi, AC, safe, etc. The breakfast was particularly fresh, varied and delicious. You are asked the evening before when and what you would like to have for breakfast. Certainly the best breakfast in Sri Lanka. I was impressed by the service - the team at The Cubes was always friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you for a wonderful time!

This hotel was fabulous!! Everything from the moment we stepped out of the car until the minute we left. The staff are wonderful, chatty, interesting and funny. The entrance and the dining area are open plan with an amazing view. The rooms are stylishly decorated with quality finishings and felt very homely. We appreciated the attention to low waste throughout. Excellent find, highly recommended!

It's really hard to think of something we didn't like, but we promised we would think of some suggestions, the 2 things we could come up with : 1. If you go to sleep early like we did, the sound of the dining room chairs sliding make a reverberation and can be noisy 2. The shampoo bottles, as nice as they are, made it hard to get liquid out

We loved everything about the hotel. From the room to their service and amazing breakfast..can't recommend it enough. We woke up with a great sunrise view. It's about 10 mins tuk tuk drive from the railway station. Our initial plan was to check out the hotel at 3am to leave to Udawalawe Park. But after seeing the room, we postponed everything, had a great breakfast and check out at 10am. Absolutely no regrets!

Nothing. Everytime was great! But there was a power outage around 4am, and probably for an hour. But this is normal in almost all the hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka so that's not the hotel's fault.
