Accommodation here was as you would expect for a 4 star hotel, it wasn't perfect but it was comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful, they offered lots of advice and made every effort to make our stay more enjoyable. The rooms and general area were a little dirty, but it wasn't really a problem for us (group of 5 family). The beds were very clean and comfy. Breakfast served here was good and we had it most days as it was included. Pool was fantastic to have, and the location wasn't too far from the main beach area (although a tuk-tuk is still needed unless your up for a slightly longer walk).

I think the place could be a little cleaner, but this is a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was good, but not great - good if you just want something simple to start the day.

The location and facilities are good. It's a few minutes from the beach but it's really-really easy to get a tuk-tuk from the street or by using WhatsApp so it's almost a non-issue. It's in a quiet location. Our kids loved the pool! The owner was there, he's very friendly as is the rest of the staff and they shared useful information about good restaurants, beaches and other sights.

While the staff was really-really helpful and friendly we were not ready for the breakfast being served so slowly. It arrived and it was OK but if you're used to European standards then you may have surprises there. The rooms were cleaned once during our longer stay and that was surprising also. However, the broken AC was fixed in the same day. So in the end everything was rather OK.

It takes a little time to get to the beach. It is better to take a tuk-tuk, so as not to waste time.

We enjoyed every day of our stay in Chill Hill hotel. Stuff was amazingly friendly and helpful, the entire place and swimming pool in particular was super clean - thanks to guys. Breakfast was delicious! I would also like to mention spacious rooms with nice pool view and good wi-fi connection which is very important. Every tuk-tuk driver who had given us a ride to get to the hotel were amazed and surprised by tranquility of this place.

It takes 10 minutes or so to get to the beach or to the centre of Hikka, but that makes this place quiet and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay and extended our initial 3 nights to 5 nights as we felt so comfortable. Our room was really spacious, very clean and had 3 comfy beds. Air con works great, sheets clean and also mini bar and fridge. The guys working at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly towards me and my family. We spent some time with the people that run the hotel and their children who were also so helpful, thoughtful and kind. Also, very helpful in advising prices you should be paying locally as to not get ripped off. Located a small distance away from main beach but is on average 80p to get to Hikkaduwa beach/restaurants. The accommodation is across the road from trip advisors no.1 restaurant canal view which is also worth a visit. All in all, very happy to have stayed.

This hotel is fantastic, we do not have one bad word to say about it. The rooms are modern and clean, with comfortable beds and good air con. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The staff and owners are great, really friendly and helpful with great service. A cheap tuk tuk ride will get you to the beach in less than 5 minutes. We stayed in 5 hotels across Sri Lanka during our stay, and this was by far the best and we would 100% recommend.

Normally I’m a little hesitant to book places with only few reviews, but it was a hit. As I thought- hotel was just rebranded and renovated, so place was sparkling clean. Loved the private terrace . Bar, pool, small restaurant, around 10 minutes walking distance to beach - all we needed. With 3 pax occupancy seems like good value for money. Nice staff - really friendly

The complex is amazing. Bright, newly refurbished and very clean. Pool is superb and owners were amazingly helpful.
