It is quite a remote location almost 15 km from Kandy. The road is quite narrow. However, the hotel and the view are stunning. We spent there 2 days and enjoyed it a lot. We have been given the honeymoon suit, a massive room with the balcony. The food was freshly prepared for us, and quote good. We are very picky with my husband, but food was amazing. On check out they have given us a little gifts with a black pepper from their garden. Amazing place, would totally recommend.

Everything. It was the perfect escape for some much needed relaxation. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Special mention for Nana who took us on a tour of the organic garden where most (if not all) the restaurant food is grown on site. A wealth of knowledge from this man, explaining all the health benefits of each plant. The food was exquisite, so compliments to the chefs and kitchen. The dining experience was made by the manager Heradh, who was so enthusiastic and funny. We thoroughly enjoyed his warm nature. It was also our introduction to Ayurveda which made our entire Sri Lankan trip that much more enjoyable. There is an Ayurvedic doctor on site with whom you can meet with and she proscribes specific treatments tailored to your needs. Our therapists were also great, Mohamed and Tharanga both so warm, friendly and accommodating. This was one of our best stops on our Sri Lankan trip. Don’t rush this stay, we stayed 3 nights and we wish we had stayed longer.

Not a negative, just a heads up… it is quite a way outside of Kandy. We traveled to Kandy by train, so if you are doing the same, and don’t want the stress of arranging a taxi on the fly from the station…I would recommend organizing a transfer through the hotel.

Beautiful location in the hills. Great breakfast. Lovely dinners. Super service from Roshin and his team! The room was large with a beautiful large balcony. The most sensational bathroom with large window the length of the bath. Minibar and kettle in room.

Terrible noise, sawing, banging and building from 08.30 till 5.00. Hotel advised us of this 24 hours before arrival, even though we had booked many months earlier. At that time it was too late to find something similar. It continued throughout the entire 10 days we stayed there. We made many outings, and at the pool it was quieter. It was eventually 'made good' with a discount upon departure. But still a shame.

The location and grounds of the hotel are simply stunning. Amazing views over the mountains, super lush, and green gardens that are well kept. The staff were, without exception, all super friendly and hospitable. The room was large and clean. The balcony added an extra touch to the room, and we spent quite some time up on there, enjoying ourselves and the amazing views. The breakfast buffet, albeit being quite limited, was very tasty.

The room got quite hot. There is a ceiling fan, but A/C would have made the night more comfortable. The pool area could use some TLC in places. More Sri Lankan options for dinner would have been nice. Menu mostly catered to a western palette. Mind you; this is meant as constructive criticism. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked more than 1 night.

Beautiful rooms with the best view, nice pool, nice wellness, lovely nature all around. Every room has also outside area which is as big as the room and very nice indeed. The staff, especially at the restaurant, are so nice!

Please, do something about the food... during our stay we were in a couple of other hotels and resorts and here the food was one of the worst. Sri Lankan was ok and nice but the European style food was really poor quality. 45 minutes drive from Kandy but lovely quiet location which is worth the drive (only there are not any restaurants near by and with the food not being so great I would probably not choose this property again).

We stayed for 11 nights in the hotel and already day one we felt at home. Located in the beautiful, natural area, far away from the hassle of big city, but still nearby to many attractions. The personnel was welcoming and warm, whenever we needed something everyone was so helpful! The room was spacious and clean, the views amazing, what a wonderful escape! But the best thing... food! absolutely incredible. The chef was ready to go an extra mile and offered to cook our favorites off menu plus we took cooking class to learn about Sri Lankan food from the best source :) We cannot recommend this place enough! We will be back :)

Yasmin Hill Longevity Oasis is an amazing boutique hotel! We cannot recommend enough! It’s in the Kandy Hills at the scenery is breath taking, you feel like you’re in the jungle! Staff are so attentive and nice and the rooms are gorgeous!

The road leading up to the hotel is a bit awkward especially if you’re travelling at night

Perfect place on top of the mountains around Kandy, in the middle of the jungle, very remote, good for relaxation and with amazing views. Rooms are really big and clean, with huge terrace and perfect hot water at the shower. Pool is nice as well, we regret only that we could not use it, because of rain. Very friendly staff, very good massage at Spa and amazing food in their own restsurant. Highly recommended!

The hotel has a dramatic view over the mountains and valley below. The room was spotlessly clean. The welcome from Pradeep and the team was genuine and warm. The kitchen creates excellent Sri Lankan food and Roshan made us feel like regulars. 10/10 service breakfast and dinner.

The room could benefit from an air conditioner at night. The shower in bath was not ideal for anyone but the most agile guests.

I recently stayed at the Galla Villa Boutique Hotel and it was truly an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, the rooms were luxurious and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet each morning and the spa facilities. I would highly recommend the Galla Villa Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
