What a nice property with amazing host. It was always a true pleasure to discuss with them. They upgraded us free of charge as we were staying for a long time and they had availabilities. The pool is great with a stunning view and the good was excellent (take the chocolate brownie for a perfect end). Breakfast was also delicious !! It’s the perfect spot to take a good breath away from the busy town, ideal for a break. If you need to go in town ask them to arrange the tuktuk drive, it will be cheaper and with a really nice driver

The place is located in a peaceful mountain view, around 650m altitude (no mosquitos to worry about) with absolutely STUNNING views from all directions! Staff were super polite and helpful! The pool has the most amazing views of not just the valley, but we were also lucky to witness eagles hunting birds right in front of us, mid air! The food was exceptional and very reasonably priced! Room amenities were all on point and clean! It also has 5 rooms only which is great if you're after a quiet peaceful stay.

If I were to be picky, the pool only had 4 sun beds and 1 umbrella, other than that, I can't fault anything.

The view from the room was really nice. Staff was really helpful with helping prepare baby's food. The food was okay. There was a nice common area where you could sit and read something or do some work if you are working, suitable for working remotely if you need that sort of space to work for a bit. The surrounding was really quiet and calm. To get to the property we had to go through the Peradeniya University so it was quite an experience because it was my first.

The road that leads to the property needs improvement. Another two three rain seasons I believe it might get worse. It would be best if something could be done about it before that happens.

My best stay in Sri Lanka so far. The owner and staff were brilliant and provided a really good and professional service from start to finish. The room was spotless, the food was tasty, and the view stunning. I was the only guest at that time, so the owner and I chatted and played pool during the evening which was a great way to pass the time. I can't recommend this place enough, 5* If I am in the area I will be sure to to stay again.

I suppose kettle in the room would have been handy, but breakfast started early so this wasnt an issue

The highlight of Sri Lanka Trip. The rooms are so beautiful and the view is stunning. We got amazing food. The staff was incredibly kind. They cab arrange different food for you, if you let them know a day earlier. The pool was super nice and cool. They can do your laundry as well. All in all 10/10. Breakfast was amazing! So much food! You definitely have to go there. We came with our tuktuk and the drive was fine. You just need to get up in the first gear.

Sky Lodge was a gem on top of a hill surrounded by mountains. It’s so peaceful with a view that cannot be compared to anything else. The manager and staff were very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had a very relaxing time there and its perfect for a couple on honeymoon or a family on vacation. The hotel is on top of a hill so the last 2 mins of getting there is a bit steep. But it’s very easy to reach by tuktuk and even car. There are no shops nearby so buy whatever extra things you want and just go there and relax and have an amazing time. Would love to go there again. Recommended for honeymooners!

The garden view room is a bit small and the bathroom is very small. But the lounge and the front yards were amazing. So you can have a great time there enjoying the view.

From its stunning design, comfortable rooms, and top-notch service, to its delicious food and prime location, it truly exceeded my expectations. This place is an absolute hidden gem! The view was amazing, you can see the sunset from the pool, and from your room! The food is excellent and the service is also very good! The owner is very nice and will recommend good places to go to for some sightseeing! I was driving a TukTuk and it takes about 20-30 min to get to Kandy. It's a very peaceful environment, so there's almost no noise at night, I had a very good sleep!

I am at a loss for words to describe SkyLodge! Everything was amazing, from the amenities to the hospitality of the staff! The view is breathtaking, the food is delicious & the staff are ever so accommodating. From the balcony you can see the Ambuluwawa temple & the mountains are covered in mist in the morning which makes you feel as if you're among the clouds! I would definitely recommend SkyLodge for a vacation or romantic getaway!

The only fact I didn't like was that we had to leave so soon! I wish I could've stayed for a week or even two! That was honestly the only downside of the vacation. Everything else was absolute perfection!
