We liked that it was generally better kept than other hotels we stayed at in Sri Lanka. As with all hotels during our trip, the photos are always very well taken and not 100% real, but in this hotel the discrepancy between photo and reality was objectively less than usual. The food was great! A quite big and clean buffet in a lovely room.

We know that in such wild nature it’s difficult to keep everything managed and clean, but let’s say that from a hotel with pretty high reviews such as this one you would expect a little more. Anyway much better hotel than the ones we went to the days before 😊

Do not have a balcony

We are an older couple that stayed for 4 nights. This was the best hotel we had stayed at, the staff where very pleasant and eager to help with anything that would make our stay a good one. Not only was it clean the food served at breakfast and dinner was the best we had had whilst in Sri Lanka. We would use this hotel again if our age allows us to visit Sri Lanka again.

Everything was good. Only one thing they should get their Pool Table refurbished, as very difficult to have a good game with tears in the cloth and the balls do not bounce back off the cushions.

I admire the staff members response and their service in every where. They are very friendly and calm.

I have booked the mountain view room. but they offered me the other way, that is forrest view as they have allocated the mountain view room for a group. but my question is, that I have booked this room one month before . therefore , how can they offer that room to another group. Hence I propose to all travelers , you should call the property and confirm what are they offer you on arrival.

The staff was great. The hotel is located around 10 km away from the Nanuoya railway station, which, in case you're coming by train, would cost you around 1500LKR to reach. This too is after bargaining. The general rate is 2500 LKR. Overall, the hotel is quite pleasant, and the rooms are very neat and clean. There are acres of space to walk around the hotel and keep yourself occupied. The front desk was also very helpful in acquiring transport.

Would have preferred to have a wider selection of food choices. Additionally, my room didn't have a heater..So if cold is a problem, then you might have to take care of it on your own.

The Hotel is housed in a newly constructed 3 story purpose build building. To reach the hotel you have to drive on a road through Galway Forest. On reaching the hotel the hotel offered me welcome complimentary Pumpkin soup with some snack. There is no lift in the hotel but I requested for a high floor to enjoy the beautiful view from my room window. I opted for a room having windows on both sides. On one side view there was tea plantation on the other side there was mountain view. The room itself was very spacious with very nice bath room. The hotel lobby is nice and there is a billiard room on 1st floor. Before dinner the hotel offered us complimentary Papaya Juice in the hotel garden. I booked the hotel half board. The dinner offered was so delicious that I can call it the best food which I ate in Sri Lanka. It was severed in the most professional manner in different courses, having some starter, soup, salad, main course and fruit/sweet dish. Beds were very comfortable. Morning breakfast was also very good. The hotel garden is very beautiful we took many good photographs as our memory. I can safely recommend the hotel to all. Last but not the least, the hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. they guided me about the place very well.

Location ouside town. You need a car, there is nothing nearby. Staff was very friendly and akways helpful. Nice bar. Breakfast and dinner were very good.

There is no shelf or anything in the bathroom. Very noisy in the early mornings (from the hotel itself not the guests).

The night before this place, I stayed in the worse place ever, so walking into Galway Heights was a HUGE difference. I was greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. They greeted me with tasty pumpkin soup. The room was clean and spacious. They also had shisha for a reasonable price was great. I’m so mad that I didn’t stay here longer. I was also able to get so much schoolwork done here.

I wish that they allowed shisha inside because it was a bit cold outside.

Kind staff. Very helpful considering we booked just a few hours before arrival. Our group also enjoyed the games room. A positive stay

Not much. Everything was great though the rooms were quite hot at night and there is no fan or a/c though I understand that it isn’t usually this hot in Nuwara Eliya

Besutiful building, nice staff

It was a chilly night and no heater in the room (we did not ask about it though, maybe it was available uon request), breakfast and dinner buffet were fine but i’d expect more for that money! They bring you a cup of tea for 350 rupees (not even a pot), which i think is strange
