We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and we liked everything about the place, spacious rooms with god AC, cleaning service on demand, great swimmig pool with beautiful views, very tasty food in the restaurant for a reasonable price, highly recommend visiting, the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka

the hotel is not at the beach, it is within walking distance and you have a view of the beach but still, the closest beautiful beach is Rekawa Beach but you need either a scooter or a tuk tuk to get there. The hotel is quite far from the city centre

The absolutely best part for the stay was one of the staff members and our favourite waiter Mr. Ravi. He was very polite, had a nice calm voice, very attentive, always happy to help and very professional.. words can not describe the high level and high quality of service Mr. Ravi provided us. He truly is an asset to the hotel. Mr. Ravi thank you for everything! on the other note about the hotel itself, very nice very clean, staff is very professional and nice, the rooms are exactly like in the pictures... the views are exceptional. Would 100% recommend. We stayed so far in a lot of hotels, but this one is in the top 2 😊 You have a lot of meal variations available! you can also book different trips through the hotel which is awesome!

occasionally problems with cockroaches. the staff took care of them immediately. It is a tropical island so it wasn't a big deal. ;) Everything was perfect!

This was an awesome place for us. Our stay was impeccable, the room was spacious with great views and amazing pool. The food was also very good and very fresh every day. However the exceptional part of this hotel was the staff. The staff was very professional and always friendly and polite. We would like to particularly thank Ravi who was exceptionally good and attentive to us providing high level of service with genuine kindness. We are happy to become friends! This place is highly recommended and beyond expectations and will remain to our hearts. Also great value for money.

Although the place is a bit isolated we didn't have problem with that, on the opposite we liked it. With a tuc-tuc in 25 minutes we were in the most beautiful beach of the area in our opinion, the Silent beach and other nice beaches.

Our first trip to Sri Lanka and we are very happy that we stayed in Ananthaya Beach! Very nice place and very helpful staff. Thank’s for everybody and they organized for us everything we wanted - Yala tour, Ella tour and turtle watching. Also the driver was very good and friendly! Room was clean, very beautiful views, pool was super and food was good. Special thank’s for capuccino makers. It tastes like at home. Recommend for everybody who like quite vacation with beautiful nature, long sandy beaches and friendly people! Hopefully see you again!

Beautiful place to stay in a peaceful quiet location, excellent service from every staff member :) short walk to the empty beach where you can walk just by yourself. Not much restaurants close by, but hotel has very good restaurant so you don't even need others. They will arrange you tuktuk if you want to go to Tangalle etc. Room was very clean and bed was good to sleep, also every room has big terrace/balcony. Highly recommend and would go again when in Sri Lanka.

Definitely a 10+ hotel. Wonderfully located by the beaches - the smaller one surrounded by a breakwater with calm water, the other long, sandy. Beautiful, large room with a furnished terrace and ocean view. Very clean in the room and the entire facility. Well-kept garden. Infinity pool carefully cleaned every day. Very tasty food, both dinners (large selection of dishes) and breakfasts (several options to choose from, good coffee). And wonderful staff, helpful, friendly, taking care of guests. We were only 2 nights but I would gladly stay longer.

This is an extra special place to stay. The grounds are impeccably kept by the friendly gardener. The owners and staff and the 3 wheeler driver are extremely helpful and friendly. The views from the room are gorgeous and the rooms themselves are clean and pretty with gorgeous terrace to make the most of the views. The infinity pool is cleaned every day and checked throughout the day. We hired their free bikes which was fun cycling around the quiet back lanes and down to rock beach and Rekawa beach. We also saw turtles laying their eggs on this beach which was an incredible experience. There are steps down from the property to the beach below and the most beautiful beach with no one on that goes on for miles. It is also only a 20 minute 3 wheeler ride to Tangalle. We lived our stay here and wished we could stay longer.

Amazing service. The hotel staff were super helpful and friendly. We had a few minor issues with our room, they got fixed immediatelly. The hotel is clean and well maintained, even though it's tiny and doesn't have many facilities. Breakfast was delicious, we were looking forward for it every day. Lunch/dinner - good, but not great. Beautiful nature, serene beaches, amazing view. Very relaxing experience. National parks and wilderness nearby - amazing, make sure to explore them.

Remote location. Taxi service (Uber, PickMe) is unreliable as of 2023. Tuktuk drivers trying to overcharge you for a few dollars - not a big deal, but annoying.

We absolutely loved the hotel!! Everything was perfect, breakfast was always freshly made for you and had good options to choose from. The hotel was very clean, the room was cleaned daily and also the pool was really clean, that cleaned it every morning. The pool area is amazing and our kids loved it! The staff was really friendly and motivated to do their job well. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I return to Sri Lanka some day.

We liked everything. If you are considering this hotel you should know that there is not much around the hotel, only jungle. You need a tuktuk to go to other restaurants or supermarket. That didn’t bother us because we ate all meals at the hotel and the food was super good!
