It was an interesting experience to stay in a prison. The hotel is in a lovely, green area, with river and parkland. Staff were helpful and polite. The hotel was very clean. The room was cute, very small of course. Breakfast buffet was nice, in a lovely room. It was very quiet at night. A really fun experience.

Our room, as expected, was tiny, and had single beds. It was a little cold and I did not understand how the old fashioned metal heater worked. There are no shops close by and at night there is no one around when you walk back from the bus or train. But it does feel like a safe area. You do need to walk quite a bit to get there, through parklands and streets, but it was ok.

room was well fitted, with club chair, desk and chair and smaller TV, a short taxi or Uber ride from train station, lovely park like setting with swimming. Because it is a former prison, doors and walls are thick so very quiet. I got my days mixed up and didn't get my things packed up; I was supposed to move to another room because I booked late. Staff left things in room and arranged for me to stay there that night. Because the hostel is also a hotel has exceptional dinning room. A bit pricey for a hostel but great food. They do have sandwiches etc available in frig a reception. There is a reading room space if you wish to hang out someplace rather than your room or the bar. I am looking forward to going back

window was hard to access if you are older. I used my cane to open and shut.

Every now and again I stay somewhere that exceeds my expectations...this place was one of those times. A very friendly man at reception, a spacious shower room with natural window light, and a room with everything I needed including a comfortable bed. All this in an ex-prison! I had a better night's sleep here than I had in a Hilton hotel in Rome a few weeks earlier. During the night is was so quiet, not surprising when you see how thick the walls are! I would definitely stay here again.

For the price I paid, nothing could have been better, it exceeded my expectations by far. The location might be a problem for some people, but for me it was fine.

The staff is fantastic, they were very friendly and understanding. I come in late night and they are still quite energetic and welcoming, especially after a long travel. There's a museum you can go during your visit! And its certainly a cultural experience since the place have a history behind it. The room is also very clean. But still compared to other hostel

The location is sooooo hard to find, could be great if there's an instruction on how to get there for non-locals. 20 mins to the centrals using trains, and 1 hour using the bus. Uses bus more because its closer to the locations. I also got lost one time as well loses 2 hours of my time to find the locations or maybe its just me who is bad with maps :"). But still the staff that welcomes us really make the whole trip worth it.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The whole place was very clean and quite, including the room. There are lots of nice spaces for sitting and hanging out. The rooms are also comfy and the atmosphere is special, which of course was expected. The area was nice and easy to get to and just want I needed.

I must have missed the information about brining your own bed sheets and towels, but I could rent these things at the property and it was not too expensive. Given this fact, maybe it was more expensive than I expected. The bed was also not super comfortable, but okay for a night or two.

A unique building, a fantastic adaptation of an old 19th century prison. Clean, comfortable, interesting, with a great buffet breakfast in the hotel which is attached to the hostel. It's on a quiet, wooded island just 10 minutes walk from Hornstull metro station. The Arlanda airport bus goes from the station every 30 minutes. The Tunnelbana (Metro) system is clean, frequent and reliable. Everything was good. We'd stay there again if we were in Stockholm.

The only thing was that there were no curtains or blinds on the window of the room: in winter this was OK because it was dark, but I couldn't see any way of darkening the room to sleep in the summer when you might have daylight for most of the 24-hours.

The location was super convinient. Closer to tram line and the bus at 600m. surrounded by restaurants. Pretty easy getting to the Arlanda airport via the shuttle. Really liked the setup with old prison cells converted as rooms. Rooms were pretty clean and receptiom is open 24hours.

The rooms are pretty small. You need to pay extra for the bed sheets and linen.

The room was small, but it felt just the right size for a solo traveler, it was clean and had good facilities. The breakfast was amazing, very varied, well worth the money. The whole hotel is big and lovely decorated. And the museum onsite is worth a look.

Although i do understand the reasoning, i didn't quite appreciated having to pay for sheets and towels.

It is just exciting to be hosted in this old prison, amazingly well turned into a hotel; almost every detail cared, studied. The site is exceptional, and the whole interior, just jaw-dropping.

I was a bit shocked you needed to pay extra for the duvet and for the towels! This maybe typical in Sweden, but still...Also, the beds, even considering the constraints of the cell's size, may be made just a little more comphy. Still, it is an exceptional place, all in all.

We loved the place it was so special. While it looks like a prison from outside, inside is very nice. We loved the little seating areas where you can sit outside your room with lovely leather chairs. We had an on suite shower room in our 2 person room. The location is next to the swimming area and has lovely little walks around the Ireland past the allotment and the area has lots of nice trees and Red Squirrels, was the real bonus for us. It's outside Stockholm on island but very close 10 mins walk to tube. The airport bus comes to the nearest tube staion so no hassle to get there. It has a very good resturant on site with really good quality food and friendly staff. We noticed lots of mature people as well as young people choose to stay there, I'd quess people return regualry, we will. Good locker storage for luggage on arrival or leaving if early and seating area with coffee and tea. We'd highly recomment this place. Whats not to like
