The captain's cabin was very cosy, the heating worked well (which was a big plus, given it was -16 outside!). The bed was very comfortable, and the room was perfectly clean. A short walk to Mariatorget, and a lovely spot on the water. The Thai restaurant on board was excellent, we ate there two out of four days!

There was a mix up in communication, we were told that late check-out (1pm) would be possible for a fee (which we were fine with), this was somehow not logged, so we were told by housekeeping at 11:15 that it was not possible, and that we needed to be out by 12. Happily, they did not charge us for this, however.

- Super clean sheets and towels - The crew was very nice and helpful :) - Excellent location - It was quite an adventure itself to sleep on a boat - big kitchen available for guests - very good shower water pressure - this seems to be a problem in so many accomodations; I have pretty long and thick hair, and rinsing the shampoo out of it with low water pressure is a nightmare, so, a big plus here! - easy room access - hairdryer available at the reception desk - fantastic option for budget travellers - we didn't use these facilities, but you can order breakfast or have a dinner in the restaurant on the main boat, which is a plus of course

- it wasn't super inconvenient, but bear in mind that the walls are on the thinner side, and if people in other rooms behave loudly, you'll probably hear it - could do with more mugs, knives, forks and spoons in the kitchen, but we managed of course :) - the bathrooms could do with a little bit of refurbishing, but were clean and everything worked, so it's not a super big deal

The location is within walking distance of major attractions and the view across the water is beautiful. You can comfortably watch the sunset on the dock. The room was bigger than expected: a bunk bed, table with chair, and wardrobe were more than enough for a 2-person 2-night stay. The shared bathrooms and showers were surprisingly pristine. The entire place is very well looked-after and extremely clean.

I have nothing negative to say about the facilities themselves. The staff are also amazing. The one thing to keep in mind is that ships don't offer the same insulation as regular walls and, therefore, sound travels. Guests walking through the halls or in the rooms above are louder than you would expect. For those who are light sleepers, I highly recommend earplugs.

I really enjoyed my first experience staying on a boat—it was a unique and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the person who checked me in. Although I didn’t catch her name, she truly exemplified effective communication and made me feel at ease right away. The room, while small, was charming and comfortable, giving it a cozy, homely vibe. The location on the water added a special touch to my stay, offering beautiful views of Stockholm right outside the window. Highly recommended for those seeking a different experience in Stockholm!

Everything was fine!

The view from my window was so stunning (frozen lake, city hall, lights, and sunrise in the morning 😍). The room was comfortable and warm, my private bathroom was also clean. Love it!

I could hear noises outside my room but it was still okay.

Great location, good value for money. It was surprisingly pleasant to stay on a boat and the kitchen facilities were nice. The beds were comfortable and clean.

We were staying on boat 2, which was much less pleasant than the other two boats. Boat 1 is where you check in and the interior design of the boat was very pleasant whereas boat 2 was plain and cheaper looking. Boat 3 had the kitchen. This was somewhat impractical as if you wanted to cook you had to go outside and walk over to another boat. Furthermore, unlike the other boats, boat 2 smelled really bad. The smell wasn’t in the rooms or in the bathrooms but the corridors smelt like sewage. If you can, I would recommend you request a room on boats 1 or 3.

- great location, absolutely love it - great view on the water, though this time my room was on the bottom, so not as cool as other rooms I've been to - the boat is just really great - decent breakfast for a good price - really nice staff - bed very comfortable - superior double room for 1 person is great - enough space to put luggage, a table to read/write & a lounge chair to hang out

- even with the heating on the bathroom was really cold - shared bathrooms close to my room were quite noisy - WiFi was unstable in my room, which is not that big of a deal but annoying

People in the reception!! I was actually learning Swedish for a good amount of time and the check-in process was my first face-to-face Swedish talking experience since landing on Sweden. I wasn't obviously perfect but they were extremely kind and helpful during my speaking experience. Something that I definitely won't forget!

Toilets and showers are very, very small. It's still doable since you'll only use it a few times and be mostly outside within the day, but it is still something that deserves to be pointed out. Also, the heating in my room was not working when I first arrived and it took me a long time to figure out how to turn it on. But I'm still overall pleased with my experience.

We booked "The Suite" and was overwhelmed with how good it was. The Suite is on a seprate boat just a few metres away but is a very high standard. Big room and bathroom, amazing views and generally a really nice feel to it with complimentary drinks and snacks The main boat where reception is , is very cosy and welcoming. The staff cant do enough to help and the Thai restaurant is really good. Boat felt even more welcoming with Christmas decorations and breakfast was a reasonable price with a good choice. Really glad we visited Rygerfjord and we would go back again. THANK YOU!

Location is a bit out of the way and the boat could do with a clean externally

I was pleasantly surprised by this stay. It was on the cheaper side of accommodation options but really the room was perfect for a short stay. It was so warm, my water view was wonderful, it was clean and comfy bed and I appreciated the use of a kitchen to make breakfast in the morning. Unique place to stay.

It is a little way from any metro stations and I did not realise that getting there would be a huge trek down steep embankments with all of my luggage. Not a fault of the hotel but hopefully it helps someone to know to get off at the metro Mariatorget and walk down the main road as it is step free. Any other station is lots of stairs to the river side or super steep ( icy in winter) hills. I realised the hotel sent instructions too late, maybe make it clear well in advance not sending the day guests arrive.
