All-round good quality hotel with a well-designed room and bathroom and good wifi. A splendid breakfast with plenty of choice was included in the rate. Sorry to miss out on dinner as I had eaten earlier else but it was nice to chat with friendly bar staff, making drinks with a smile. Perfect coastal location, don't leave before walking by the marina and around the headland. Genuinely friendly reception staff, interested in their clients and full of must-see suggestions. They even turned down the music so I could make a Teams call in the lounge for an online meeting with colleagues.

Arriving by ferry, it was a little tricky to find the hotel, why not ask the authorities if you can put up a sign?

This hotel have a problem with regulation of the temperature in the room - but also in the dinning room. We have experienced nights that were too hot - and others too cold. The problem is the central regulation, and a local heatpump does not appear to work as planned. We have asked reception a few times - but no help could be given. And please - get some ordinary black tea - not only earl grey.

The location is amazing. We paid extra for a sea/marina view and it was a constant delight.

We think the external decor is looking a little tired and 70/80s. Not easy but some kind of external facelift might be good.

The views from the indoor and outdoor lounge area are absolutely incredible! The breakfast is amazing! Never seen such an assortment of foods! Great cocktails at the bar. The location of the hotel in the middle of the lovely town is great.

Fantastic breakfast with plenty of options for both cold and hot options. Freshly squeezed orange juice was a treat :)

Room wasn't quite ready when we arrived at 16pm and could see the same was the case for other guests - receptionist simply said "they will be ready when they are..." So not a big deal, but the attitude was a little off - she could have made a better start by addressing this in a different way. Again - the stay was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was modern, tidy, and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the breathtaking views of the sea and fjords. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious.

Fantastic location, amazing breakfast- the view from our balcony over the harbour was great.

Some of the bar staff were extremely rude and unfriendly.

Great spread, everything we needed for the cold day ahead of us, the chef cooking the eggs cooked the perfect eggs for me too

Location is great. Excellent breakfast. I enjoyed the live music in the evening. Ferry to Koster is a two minutes walk

Rooms with view in the back yard can be same level as the parking. Rooms with sea view are worth the extra cost.
