This is a no frills hotel but everything worked well and the room was extremely comfortable. It even offers a pillow menu and I chose a neck supporting pillow which was delivered to the room. The bathroom had a wonderful shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel has a restaurant which was very convenient as we were staying overnight on a Sunday. Nice menu and very attentive service. The breakfast buffet in the morning had a great variety of dishes and excellent coffee, and of course homemade Bircher Musli! In a city where parking usually comes a steep fee, the free parking on the premises was an added bonus.

The staff is excellent, friendly, and helpful Breakfast is outstanding. Cleanliness is exceptionally good. It is close to the Stettbach train station as well as to a streetcar stop and several bus stops, so the connection to Zurich and other places is excellent.

The bed is attached to the wall, which is not comfortable when two people sleep in the same bed and the one on the wall side needs to get up. The pillows are too soft and lack padding. The room lacks air conditioning. Now in the summer there are hot days. At our request we were provided with a fan. The lack of AC was made worse by not being able to keep the window open because there is an unattended swimming pool in the back of the building that is a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Great breakfasts. Good shower and bathroom. Good location - close to S-Bahn. Convenient. Christian from the restaurant was very helpful when we checked in after hours. Friendly cleaning staff.

One of our two rooms smelt strongly of smoke/cannabis. As we checked in after 5pm and there was no reception, Christian helped us get a new room. Unfortunately it was set up only for 1, so we had a cold night with a single duvet and only 1 towel for 2. Bed dipped heavily in the middle which was uncomfortable. Smell of cannabis in parts of the hotel (hallway)

excellent breakfast. Great selection of breads, hams, smoked salmon, cheeses, yogurt, fruits, beverages etc. Really good breakfast. Clean rooms, a bit on the spartan side, but comfortable and neat. Good beds, very large room with lots of space.

some noise from other rooms. Several military personell were lodged at the time, probably several guys per room, and kept talking and laughing until past midnight (I chose not to make a fuss against 20 military personell and let it be). Sound isolation could be better, but not entirely hotels fault for the behavior of other guests. The rooms are not luxury, but everything was clean and in good working order.

All is great. A bit far from center but only 10 min walking from tram station. Clean. Breakfast is good. We liked it

The only thing we did not like was that the reveptionist wanted to give us a room in basement saying we booked standard room. However, we booked a superior room. I know that she knew it but still tried to put us in a cheaper room, although we paid for superior. Then they gave us good room.

It is very reasonably priced in my opinion compared to the prices of some others we had looked at before booking. The hotel itself has exceeded our expectations. Every staff member we have encountered has been wonderful and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable - the beds are the perfect softness and the pillows and bedding is very lovely to sleep on. It is a nice and quiet area so even with the windows open we had a great sleep. The temperature is very warm at the moment (June) and the room got a little too warm for us so we asked for a fan at reception and they kindly brought one to our room. Amazing customer service. The breakfast is lovely with a wide variety of tea, coffee and fruit juices, fresh fruit, continental and cooked breakfast items along with patries, breads meats and cheeses. Perfect choice for a buffet breakfast. We have eaten at the hotel restaurant in the evening whilst staying here and the food is also delicious and high quality. We have travelled from England to Zurich to watch a concert at The Hall which is not too far away (around a 7 min walk from the hotel) which is a fantastic location if you need somewhere close by to stay after a concert. We went on a tour of Zurich on our first day here and were concerned that we wouldn't be able to find our way back to the hotel. The public transport networks here are very easy to use and destinations are well displayed throughout the journey. (The tram you need to take from Zurich to Stettbach Station which is the closest to the hotel - around a 10 min walk away - is the solid black number 7 tram and ride it to the very last stop.. there are other number 7's with other colours and letters infront so be careful not to get the wrong one) I would highly recommend staying here and if there was ever another opportunity to return to Zurich in the future we would certainly be staying here again.

The only thing I could comment on would be that there is no aircon in the room we stayed in, but once we had a fan in our room it was fine.

My 2nd time there: all good like the first time. Sparkling clean room and bathroom, nice furniture, tea and coffee making facilities in the room, etc. Rich breakfast, really enjoyed the pancakes with the marple syrup! Parking (free) also very convenient. The hotel is very well kept in every detail; keep up the good job you are doing there :-)

Last time I was there (3 years ago?) the hotel had spa facilities but had no time to use them. This time I managed to arrive earlier to enjoy and relax but, alas, the spa facilities are not offered any more. I hope someday the will start them again.

The reception team was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. They even offer a free coffee and some snack bars on arrival.

The kitchen staff was very unprofessional and rude. They made a big issue when we asked for an omelet. We ended up not getting it but rather faced discourteous responses from the staff. Being busy was the reason they gave which was also not an acceptable reason.

Great location if you travel by car - close enough to the main highway and Zurich city center. The Zoo is only 5 km away by car and there are also excellent connections with public transport. Around the hotel building there are many parking places for free. The double room was comfortable, very clean, big bathroom full with amenities. The personnel is very kind and helpful. Every morning abundant breakfast is offered to the guests. The restaurant offers interesting menu for lunch and dinner too.

Amazing hotel in great location just outside Zurich. Easy, free parking, with short walk to train station then 6 minute ride to Zurich opera house station with no other stops. Kids jumped right on the cool dragon playground, restaurant was welcoming even though we arrived late for dinner. Included hotel breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. Hotel staff was incredibly helpful, hotel room was roomy (three beds and space to spare). Hotel front desk can sell 24h train tickets to make travel to Zurich easy. WE LOVED OUR STAY!!!!!
