this is not a review for a city view room! We changed rooms due to the city view, not having air-conditioning and being quite loud on the road. The hotel is in the perfect location on the lake. Lake rooms are a lot better than the City View, which are right on the street. Our room was beautiful and we left the door open all night ( although there was A/C) and it was quiet and cool. The bar is very nice as are the restaurants on property. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We needed to change rooms for our kids due to the City View being warm and a bit loud and he was very accommodating and help us find another option.

Historical hotel with the modern equipment. Especially friendly staff, solving your requests. Coffee machine in the room with 3 types of capsules,including decoff. Tea and teapot. Tablet with all hotel services there. Renewable Water in the room, with welcome fruits. Car parking service, car was ready before check out w/o reminder. Pretty big inner swimming pool, with the small sauna. Pet friendly! Even for the big dogs!

Bed lining could be more comfy- blankets are not very cozy

Our stay at the Grand National was magical. The view from our room made our entire stay worth it. Truly, every detail was perfection. The room was fully stocked with bathroom necessities, waters, snacks, beverages and a hand-written note. The breakfast at Juliette was amazing and a great value. My husband enjoyed the spa, pool and sauna. This was great rest spot in the middle of our long holiday across Europe.

View of Lake Lucerne and Les Alpes! Room was huge and gorgeous! Everything from elevator to room to bathrooms to pool were clean and as expected- beautiful. About 10-15 easy walk to Old Town. 15 walk to train station- literally just across the lake but one needs to walk to a bridge to cross the lake… Pool is large and the hot tea and cold infused water poolside was special unexpected trear

I wish the pool was a little warmer and had a jacuzzi type area … but it’s quite large with some very powerful jets!!!

very nice and classic room with beatiful location

the room was already prepaid and i gave them the room deposit in cash, and then from nowhere they charge my card with ~1400CHf when i asked why they said it was by mistake and they return it the next day in cash, it was unpleasent experiance they almost ruiened my vacation budget. انتبهوا من حقين الاستقبال لانهم خصموا مبلغ عالي من البطاقة و لما سالتهم ليش قالوا بالغلط, ورجعوا المبلغ لي ثاني يوم بس كاش.

The location is spectacular, right in front of the lake and has everything at walking distance. The service and facilities were amazing as well. They have great restaurants and a bar on location which made it amazing for us to have a good evening since we couldn’t go out because of the rain. Overall a great stay for us.

The location was fantastic, and the lake view rooms were really beautiful. All the staff were super friendly and hepful. We had a car and their was always someone there to valet the car. Special shout out to Fleurina from reception who was super lovely and helpful.

The city view rooms are much smaller, and do not offer any AC to the room at all. Best to upgrade to the lakeview for a much larger room with AC.

Location, View of the lake and mountains, Friendly staff, Comfy beds/Linen and high quality bathroom amenities. Very clean! Also the housekeeper came around and handed out chocolates which I thought was nice.

Room was a little noisy but only on my last night, Wifi wasn’t the greatest but did the job.

The service is not 5 star. Frigo bar is free but almost empty and porters have to be called all the time. They even tried to charge me 40 euros for 2 boiled eggs at breakfast. The lobby needs re decoration and some fresh enthusiasm should be instilled in the staff
