our room doesn't have a window, I just realized it by the time I already unpacked. hence we didn't change room as offered by the staff in the counter. No room clock. Telephone located in the bathroom. no drinking fountain/ dispenser, paid bottled water for drinking. Doors are not soundproof. paper cups for drinking and toothbrush use, it gets soft afterc1 to 2 use. some of the hallway floors are uneven, not well lit andchas dark carpets, and I almost trip over.its dangerous.

Staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is convenient and accessible. Rooms are big. Overall clean and comfortable. Easy checkin and checkout process. Requested for airport pickup and it was arranged smoothly.

Had a difficult time sleeping with the pillow/mattress. Difficult to shower for seniors since you have to go inside the bathtub to shower. Had to switch rooms because there was no window in the 1st assigned room.

Lady on reception was so helpful and kind. She even helped us get on the WIFI which isn't hard to do. She was just wanting to help. It was quiet yet right in the heart of all the action. So many restaurants and shops just outside. Also at night time many of the shoos are open til 10pm. I actually bought a suitcase at 10.10pm. That would never happen where I'm from. The hotel is only a few minutes from Ximen MRT station and Taipei's "Times Square" and the Red House. It suited us well.

I like how close it is to everything! You just have to cross to the nearest starbucks or family mart. About a 3 minute walk to the nearest station. And 5 minute walk to ximending walking district. Would stay here again.

It is located in an alley of a very busy part of Taipei City. The staff was very friendly. They have a big bunch of bananas, and I took two after their encouragement. The staff showed me two identical rooms but in different floors, and offered me to choose one. I don't remember the last time a hotel staff did that. The building is old. Convenience, availability and affordability were the reasons I chose it.

The window looks out to that of the building across the 5-m alley.

The staff always happy to help and left your belonging untouched. The staff are helpful and trustworthy. The staff can speak a little english but preferably using chinese to communicate with them is better. The beds are clean and comfortable.

The window panel are dusty, air conditioner is not very cold but its cold enough.

For the price it was the best hotel I found in center Taipei during the Chirstmas season. The staff was SO NICE and KIND to me. Always welcoming and smiling. So thank you very much for making my week long stay the best! Great location as well, you're right in Ximen. Lots of restaurants, shops and the MRT is not far at all.

As per requested, room was given on a high floor with window and a non smoking quiet room.

corridor walkway is small. Door Lock is a one way lock from the outside. We cant double locked it from inside the room. if the two queen beds werent facing each another blocked by a one way television, it will be much better.

Perfect location in Ximen. Near a lot of great shopping, restaurants, a street market and the station.

Building was a little dingy.

It was quite an old facility. Clean room but not spacious enough. Walkable to surrounding eateries and Ximending zone.

The mattress wasn’t firm and the bed was quite small.
