Great location, just a few minutes walk from the Port where you arrive on the ferry, and then a few minutes more to the market or the well touristed old town. Breakfast on the top terrace with a glimpse of the sea. Very pleasant. Clean and comfortable. Recommended.

1. The staffs are exceptionally courteous, accommodative, humble, and readily available to assist. 2. Rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained. 3. Excellent value for money. 4. Good breakfast selection within an affordable range. 5. Best possible location as it is just beside ferry site and all the tourist attractions of stone town are at walking distance.

I had a wonderful stay at The Stone Town View Hotel in Stone Town! The blend of historical charm and modern comfort made it feel like a cozy oasis. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooftop views at sunset were simply breathtaking—definitely a highlight of my trip!

To start with, the communication, which was handled by one of the lady staff, was excellent. I had some last-minute delay owing to a missed flight, and they handle it very well, even rescheduling a complimentary pick-up from the airport. Speaking of the establishment itself, the property is located to northern-eastern part of the Stonetown, near to the port, and quite a commercially central and busy location, with various shops and restaurants open throughout. But just across the alleyway, heading towards the interior, you find old buildings and stacked houses and streets with traditional architecture. Coming to the rooms, they were reasonable, though a tad dated, with stained glass windows. Breakfast was excellent, and the view from the rooftop where they serve it is superb. Fatma at the counter, and Joseph at the breakfast service, were both helpful to us during our stay, helping make our experience better. Overall, at this price point, it is a good and established property welcoming visitors in Stonetown.

The property is an older one, and while it has been well maintained, the built-up neighborhood means that there are less chances to open windows, and also some noises from the vicinity makes it through. Also, being a tourism oriented locale, there were some subtle expectations from some of the male staff, to avail service, right from laundry to sightseeing. But it was not too pushy, and is a natural gesture to be expected in such situations. On the whole, would term it a very good experience staying at this place for 5 nights.

It is close to the ferry port thus easy to a traveller coming from Dar es salaam. As to the front noisy street that was in the general tolerance. I got every night sleeping well.

The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of stone town. Emanuel and his staff were great and helped in all kind of aspects ( transport, recommendations,...). A late check-in at 11 pm was pretty easy. I will return before my flight back home
