Charlie is a super host. Rooms are really big, great location with lots of food options nearby .. recommend KOB cafe for brunch and lunch … amazing !!! We did an overnight on our way back from Ko Paghnan and it was just a few minutes walk from the ferry. Charlie organised the taxi to the airport cheaper than any of the apps. He was very attentive.

There are 2/3 dogs next door that didn’t stop barking the whole night. At 5.30am I gave up trying to sleep and did some work until the coffee shops opened! Not the owners fault but something by that should be noted if you’re a light sleeper. I was awake 4/5 times because of them. The property is very very cute but maybe take earplugs

Location was at the end of a very rough dirt road so I'd suggest you get a taxi organised that knows exactly where to go. Outside unassuming but once inside there is a small pool surrounded by 4 very clean and well thought out rooms. Each one had its own outside seating area with a shelf of books and a chair. We arrived late from our flight and were greeted at the front gate. When we left for our next destination the following day the hotel organised a taxi and it was seamless. Before we left we walked to the main road (a few minutes) where there was a variety of restaurants and cafes to choose from for breakfast.

The dirt track the hotel is on makes it feel a bit remote, but then again it was quiet as it was away from the main road. But I wouldn't want to be walking down it at night.

Well thought through accommodation with nice touches such as an umbrella. Set in a compact zen style garden with pool. Everything was immaculate.

We did not mind walking up and down the short access road but found it difficult at night as it is unlit.

We had stayed in many hotels and this is by far the cleanest and most well presented hotel we stayed in Thailand. Charlie is a fantastic host and lovely man. He helped me with many questions and also educated me on the local area. Also, arranged taxi to the airport for the following morning. We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed for more! Great location near to airport and piers and located close to fisherman’s village market which is must! I hope we visit here again one day soon.

The property is immaculately clean, stylish, peaceful and the owner is very responsive and incredibly helpful. Charlie, the owner is a very kind and wise man. He can tell you many interesting things. The property is very close to Bang Rak pier and the airport, which makes it ideal for trips to Koh Tao and Koh Phagnan. The wifi is great. I was able to have online video work calls. Many restaurants, supermarkets and massage places nearby. But the property itself is nicely tucked away down a small side road, which means that it’s very quite and peaceful. There are toiletries, and thoughtful touches in the room to make your stay comfortable. And a shared kitchen to prepare meals and hot drinks.

I appreciated everything about this property. There is nothing to complain about.

Our host was kind and helpful; we asked about a motorbike ahead of time and he had one ready for us to rent; new tiles in kitchen and bathroom; very clean and spacious; nightstands on each side of bed; furniture is simple and well thought out; curtains are of good quality and keep the light and view of neighbor's out; bed is comfortable- not too hard or too soft; hot water in shower and nice water pressure; quiet at night

Our room was next to entrance and pool - we prefer a quieter placement; no hand towel for bathroom sink; one window/window frame was loose, so it made noise throughout the night; bathroom towels were not soft, but they were clean

The location is good and the property is nice and clean. The owner is very helpful and speaks good English.

I would recommend to take a more premium room. We had the one right next to the entrance and it was noisy when people were coming or staying at the pool. Also, if you have problems sleeping you might have issues with hearing so many birds, especially so early in the morning. The AC was hitting straight at the bed and this was not that great during the night.

The Nest is immaculate. All of the facilities are as described / pictured. The staff are helpful and friendly. It is extremely convenient to the airport.

As it is near the airport, we were awake at 4:30AM due to other travellers making noise as they departed for their early flights. This is not the accommodations fault. However, something to consider if you were to stay here longer than a night or two.

Excellent value for money. Well equipped rooms with kitchen, large fridge. The pool area is cute, although not much used in the days we were there. Walking distance to the pier and lots of restaurants etc. The owner was helpful and friendly.

In certain periods of the year (think I read April - October), flights do cross very low over the property so the noise is really loud. Startled me the first time, but you do get used to it.

I stayed just for one night between arriving at Koh Samui in the evening (7pm) and leaving for Koh Phangan late morning the next day. Charlie greeted me at the property which was really nice, and he also arranged an airport transfer for me which I really appreciated after a long journey. He gave me a good recommendation for dinner (Big Sister) nearby and there was also a lovely coffee (Mon Ami) shop 2 mins away and 5 mins to the pier for the boat to Koh Phangan. The villa was gorgeous and I slept really well. It was the perfect choice!
