Room was cleaned and bedsheets/towels replaced every day. Breakfast was buffet style and had all we needed like yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, fried and boiled eggs, pancakes, sausages, some Thai food. The only thing missing was some real cereal like muesli (only corn flakes available. Coffee was great. Also really like the quiet location with lovely garden and outside sitting area but still close to town centre, all the restaurants and the beach. Beds were comfy and a/c worked perfectly.

lucked out this time and got upgraded to a bigger room, probably because it was the off-season. The whole place was really peaceful and quiet, and the room was spotless. The AC and shower worked perfectly, and the best part was that the hotel was right in the heart of the action on the island, so I could always find whatever I needed. Oh, and I almost forgot: guests can rent scooters from the hotel for 100 baht less than anywhere else on the island, and the bikes were super new and easy to ride. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, though - I guess it's a thing in Thailand, but the toast wasn't very good at any of the hotels I stayed at. But the other food was fresh and made to order, so it was still a nice way to start the day.

Amazing hotel! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay there. The rooms are very well thought through. Everything is made with such love and care for the guests. Breakfast is amazing. Every day something new. Fresh and delicious food. Every staff is super friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is superb-between pier and Sai Kiew beach, there are many places to eat and shop at around. We will definitely come back to this exact hotel. Thank you for making our little trip magical 🙏

It is a nice small hotel / apartment with a lovely garden and the location is excellent! Just a 6 minutes walk to the beach and not in the busy part of the Island. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. I booked 3 days initially but stayed there for a week! Don’t expect too much from the room but the price is reasonable, airconditioning is good, the bed is big and I slept very well!

Koh Samet is a bounty Island but there is a lot of s*x toerisme so if you can’t deal with that, do not go here

It's such a beautiful and unique place! A green oasis with an elegant garden, cozy and quiet, and yet next to everything you need. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated (we stayed at deluxe bungalow and then extended our stay and switched to the "deluxe suite" room). Rooms are a little less private compared to bungalows, but they have more upscale bathrooms). Honestly, I liked both. Wifi is fast and reliable, which I really appreciated. Breakfast is good and has some variety: eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, fruits, spring rolls. The owners are most helpful! We booked tours via them, and it was a great experience. Also, the daily room service with the change of towels is really convenient when you are going to the beach every day (it's hard not to bring some sand back:)). I researched a lot of options for a stay, and I think it's the best at the whole island!

1. We very liked the location - 7 min walk from Sai Kaew Beach, from the pier too. Lots of good stuff nearby. Buddhist temple too. 2. The house is simple, one might even say ascetic, but in general everything is ok. 3. We were in June - not particularly mosquitoes. 4. There was hot water, air conditioning worked well, refrigerator. 5. Honestly, albeit monotonous breakfast. But there is a lot of food, you do not remain hungry. 6. Nice green area. 6. On the territory pleases the owner's cute dog and cat :-)

1. The first thing that caught my eye was that the bathroom was dirty: the sink and mirror had obviously not been washed. The shower was also dirty and smelled bad. 2. The houses are very close to each other, if it was the hightseason and there would be more people it would be uncomfortable and noisy. 3. They cleaned it once a week, but the bath was still dirty. 4. Wi-Fi weak. 5. There is no closet, it is inconvenient to fold things 6. No kettle. 7. The staff hardly speaks English at all. Hostess only.

Everything was excellent! Cute little bungalows surrounding a lush tropical garden. So lovely to hear the noises of the birds in the morning. It’s located on the main road but heading to the back where the huts are it’s just quiet. Air-con gets so cold! So no issues with being too hot in the rooms. Can hire bikes from the property with gas included. Breakfast is buffet style and a good selection. Staff are super friendly, and was easy to ask any questions including extending another night

The hotel offered good value for money. The daily breakfast, though simple, was freshly made. The location was convenient, and the motorcycle rental rates were reasonable and the staff provided excellent service.

A suggestion for improvement would be to offer a wider variety of breakfast choices to cater to different tastes, particularly for guests staying for several days.

Nice big room located on the “Main Street” of the island. The main beach is not far away and there are many restaurants close by. They also offer a scooter rental for a reasonable price.

Had to wait 30min for check-in because no one was at reception or on the premises. Normally not a big deal but I wanted to say goodbye to a friend who left shortly after so it was a little bit annoying.

The location was perfect! Not far from the pier or the beach! Quiet and had a feel like you were in a lil resort village! The comp breakfast very good and staff very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely book Barbados Terrace again on any return trip to Thailand/Koh Samet!

The options for more English TV Channels like Netflix was a little disappointing. The wifi was a little weak, but overall nothing you couldn't do without.
