The location was the best! Right on the water and as far away from central town with loud partying as possible so as long as you don’t have noisy neighbours it’s great for sleeping. Also great to walk out your door and straight for swimming at high tide with lounge chairs for the resort which seems to be one of the few along the beachfront to have this. Long boat hire just out the front of the resort in a tiki style hut, beachfront massage right out front too. We booked a last minute deal for a bungalow so was a really good deal for the room and location (not sure about regular pricing), highly recommend staying in the bungalows each one has a sea view from the balcony/hallway. Lovely styling in the bungalows all wooden. They have a luggage service from the ferry to the hotel (as do most) where they trolley your bags too and from the pier on arrival and departure. It’s a really nice walk along the beachfront into town past the stalls and a completely flat walk on good paths. Felt very lucky with where we got, 2 nights here for less than one night at the cliff side next door. Will definitely stay again!

There was very little we didn’t like but for those that are picky here’s what we would say. The bungalows are quite small, we had twin beds sadly instead of a double and there was very little room for suitcases/luggage. The toilet when it flushed seemed to come out of the ground in-between the bungalows which had a bad smell once. The light from the aircon is very bright for those that like sleeping in really dark like my husband but curtains and blind are great. The walls are quite thin so if you have loud neighbours you will hear everything. Overall we would definitely recommend and stay again though, the above is just very picky information for those that it would concern.

The rooms were just along the beachside and not very far off (Around 700 kms) from the jetty. The property had organised a person to transport our luggage to & from the jetty.

The whole island is not for families, but it is meant for people who want to smoke weed and hook up. Right outside the property was a bar on the beachside where people were smoking grass and hooking up with local women. Apparently there was a lot of noise (loud music) at night and people were dancing naked under influence of drugs at night it seemed. Will not recommend this island for families.

Good value for price. Wood cabins. AC takes some time to cool the cabin. Has what is needed for a nice stay. Good beach

Showers and light can improve. No breakfast. The location is a bit different on the booking map, check google maps before booking. It is quite far from the pier. Need to walk 10-15 minutes. Worth it if you want to be away from the noise of the center

For the money, you absolutely could not beat it. Great location, quiet and the little bar out front was a lot of fun just to hang out and have a few cold drinks. TV was not working, but that's okay. Because I did not come to the beach to watch t v.

I booked Phi Phi Sand Sea View Resort looking for a beachfront stay, and it didn’t disappoint. The beach is literally at your doorstep. Initially, I booked a cheaper room, but once I saw the more comfortable bungalows, I quickly upgraded and I’m so glad I did! The rooms have everything you need—good internet, air conditioning, and even hot water (though I’m not sure why you’d need it in such perfect tropical weather). Right in front of the rooms, there’s a fantastic bar offering beers, cocktails, food, and a vibrant, relaxing atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and always eager to help with a smile. The location is ideal—at the far west end of the beach, away from the busy pier, which means you can relax in peace. You can also easily book tours to nearby islands and other adventures right from the hotel. Overall, this was a great place to stay on Phi Phi Island!

small room, small bathroom, old bed, old accesories, needs to fumigate

The location! Waking up and basically having your own private beach on the front was honestly priceless. We kept extending because of the same reason. The views were pretty nice since we had one of the top rooms of the back building. The staff was very kind and helpful.

We got the double bedroom and the space between the bed and the wall was so tight we didn’t had much place to walk after putting our backpacks on the floor. They clean daily but the pipes and drains smell very bad. It is not the hotel problem because as I say they keep everything very clean and neat. The shower head is in a weird position to use.

The websites room description was misleading. I thought I booked a twin bed room for sharing. When we arrived the room was a double bed and not for sharing. They did help us get accommodation at Phi Phi sands and give us value for money room in the building. The staff saved the experience because they went out of their way to help us get another room. The lady at the front desk is super helpful and understanding.

The resort is at the edge of the beach near the pier. Loads of boats and noise from the boats. The water is also dirty with litter and petrol. I would not recommend staying at that side of the beach. But Phi Phi sands accommodation was value for money to stay at just a pity about it's location.

The location right on the beach in the corner of Tonsai beach under the cliff, away from the hussle and bussle of Phi Phi and evening noise was the best for what we paid. The personnel were all very friendly and helpfull. Can really recommend this place, compared to other resorts for the same price in PP, its really value for money.. Some guests complained that pictures posted are incorrect, want to remind guests to post the correct pictures, its not the resort owner that post the pictures, it is the guests. But you have access to a private beach with chairs, need no more. Easy walking distance from town and all boat or diving activities.

We did not had a kettle, and a small hang space for clorhes would be great Rooms are bit small, but we lived out of our suitcases. Aircons during the day had sometimes difficulty to function, and the water strenth fluctuated. But again this is normal for most of Phi Phi hotels and resorts. Overall its very good value for money.

I had a bungalow right on the beach (I recommend it to everyone, even if you pay more for it). It's just fantastic. The bungalow itself is beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you need. The view from the balcony is also of the beach, and the sea is just a few steps away. There is also a great bar right next to it. It's quieter than other places on the island and there are hardly any drunk tourists - but you can still get to the town quickly. The staff was also very friendly. I also didn't see any cockroaches during 3 nights.

The bathroom wasn't really nice, but it was sufficient.

We stayed in an ocean front bungalow and it was amazing. The view was unbelievable to make up to. The staff were great, the room stayed cold. Loved the location and even with it being a 10 minute walk from the main area there were amenities right out our door from massages, smoothie stand, bar, restaurant, convenience store etc.

The bathroom could have used a deep clean. There was no where to put your suitcases or clothes so we ended up leaving them in the floor with all our stuff in them which took up the little floor space there was. The safe in our room didn’t work.
