A great little stay ran by the loveliest family that would go above and beyond for you. Facilities and food were great, not far from the local 7/11 and regularly called Tuk Tuks or one of the family members would give us a lift somewhere.

We, four persons and a small dog have been 4 days the guests of Cottage Hill at Koh Lanta. First about the staff: The owner, Mr. Sang and the Lady from the Administration, Mrs. Ann did really everything to make our stay very pleasant and comfortable. We felt at home. Mr. Sang advised a garage when our car had problems and he showed us a nice restaurant at the beach. Mrs. Ann showed a maximum of hospitality. The bungalows are really amazingly clean. Compliments for the staff that did the cleaning. Beds and shower are very good. The resort is very silent but shops and the Andaman beaches are close by. A matter of minutes. At the resort always free thea or coffee available. Dinner can be arranged en drinks always available and affordable. Outside many spacious places with shadow and very nice and comfortable seats. Absolute value for money. This resort deserves the highest score possible. Next time Koh Lanta means next time Cottage Hill @ Lanta.

The hosts and staff were incredibly accomodating and welcoming, we felt safe and looked after! Absolute legends. The location was further away from busy area, which was what we were looking for, though still being very close to the beach and town. There is possibility to rent the scooters at the cottage, as well as option to catch a tuktuk down the driveway, across the street. We had no problem going out for the night and catching one. The rooms were very lovely and taken care of, very clean and had everything, little fridge, fan, towels, nets over the beds from bugs, drying rack. Plenty of space to just hangout, eacg bungalow has a little deck, there are books, cards and pool table for entertainment. Worth every baht! Would come back.

Rooms have no AC so it can get a bit hot, but the fan in the room did the work during the night.

We stayed there while doing a diving course. The place is comfortable and the staff are super nice. Also is quiet to rest. We had dinner there twice, food was tasty, we loved the spring rolls thai style

We made the laundry there and we were not really happy about the result of it. We made a hiking in the jungle and our shoes were muddy and asked them to clean them. The color of the shoes spread all over the shoe (they were white and nos one of them is half red). Also the clothes did not smell fresh. We asked for a solution for the shoes but they just told us to apply baking soda...

The family make this property the best! They will book tours, ferry, minibus to airport. The host gives her guests a deal! If you book through her minibus is 400 bhat versus 500 if you book on your own. There’s cheap simple breakfast and coffee, water bottles for sale, laundry service for a fee, air conditioning, comfortable bed etc. Good value for price. They also secured scooter rental for you. They are true hosts and local Thai family. Location is perfect. To the south the best beaches on the island. To the north there’s a bit more hustle and bustle. It’s quiet at night and the view is gorgeous. We had the king suite with a view of the jungle and a small portion of the ocean. Sunset view as well.

There was a small lizard in our room but you can’t help this at all.

Lovely little place! The staff were incredibly friendly and provided us with cold water bottles on arrival. The room was nice and cool with the Aircon. The bathroom was good and everything was clean. It's about a 10ish minute walk from a 7 eleven and a bit further to the beaches. The bed was comfy and we had a great sleep.

Nice and clean rooms, the staff were very nice and helpful - they have a cafe where they serve food and drinks until late, there's also a pool table and you can rent bikes there which is perfect for an island the size of Koh Lanta.

The location was a bit far from the beach up a hill, but you can walk it in about 15 minutes

I had the best stay, the owners are absolutely incredible and took their time to teach me how to ride a scooter, the room was perfect (a little hot at night but that’s just the weather) the bathroom was perfect. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough. it’s a 8 minute walk from 7 eleven and a little further from beaches and restaurants but if you have a scooter everything is super accessible

I was in one of the bamboo cottages. I guess other guests did not realize how much sound can travel through the walls! The location was not so good for me as I was not driving, a little bit of a walk to get to the beach - I guess that is what they mean by being a good place for hikers!

The location of the room wasn’t the best, every afternoon the sun would beat in to the room for hours making it unbearably hot even hours after the sun had gone down. It was a fan room but perhaps the rooms in this position would do better with air con
