Surprisingly homely. Room 207 with balcony and trees outside, yet just off the main road. Good energy, super clean and felt safe as a solo traveller. Airport transfer was easily arranged for an early start. Good value for money and good email communication. Only thing is that the Booking.com phone number didn't work, and I couldn't get thougb on the website number either on the say, as my arrival was delayed.

I booked a room for two but the hotel rules said no un-registered guests were allowed to stay so i could not bring a local lady back to my room at the end of the night

Amazing location. It's close enough to downtown and still pure authentic without feeling you are in a tourist place. Deep sea, great beach within few steps through green area. The owner is a very kind and helpful, magic atmosphere. Groceries, rental services, day/ night markets are all there. Two spacious rooms, fridge and little terrace, quiet air-conditioning. Girls were cleaning every day. Nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect!!!

Wasn't

This is my third tome here. Owner and staff are very friendly and nice. The place is quiet and clean and the rooms are comfortable with king bed and nice bathroom. The location is close to the famous Valentine stone and you can find around Family mart, restaurants and everything you need. The only missing thing is a bar inside that is not a problem for me but is right to let you know. Price and quality, I highly racommend Buathong Place.

Excellent hotel. Very good location in a non-busy part of Lamai. Beach 5 minutes. Restaurants 2 minutes. Supermarket 10 minutes. Club life of the beach - 15 minutes. Very pleasant hosts. Cleaning every day. The villa is very comfortable and large. I highly recommend to visit if you do not need nightlife, but you just want to relax with comfort.

Great value. Couple that run it were really nice and helpful, helped us with moped rental, laundry etc. room was spacious and clean.

Not that they can change this, but its worth noting that there wasnt much around the local area. Felt a little hard at times to get food as local restaurants would regularly be closed for seemingly no reason.

It was extremely clean, comfortable and safe. The room was spacious for one person and there was an outdoor seating area. The hosts were so lovely, welcoming and accommodating, but in no way intrusive. The lady who cleans was also lovely. The internet was very fast and was never down so was very convenient.

I don’t have anything negative to say.

Great little hotel within a short distance of Lamai beach. The room is a little dated but had great AC, a large fridge and even a terrace. Lots of convenience stores and small restaurants nearby but only enough to keep you interested for a relatively short stay.

The hotel is a little far from the action - you could walk into the town centre but you probably wouldn't bother after the first time.

sometimes you can hear the noice from the street (from the upper rooms only i think), but that didn’t bother me

Lovely people who run the hotel - very friendly. Room is clean and everything we needed for a couple nights in Lamai.

Our fridge wasn’t set and we accidentally ended up freezing everything we put in there.
