We enjoyed the atmosphere which this place has thanks to it's owner. The colours and patterns are everywhere.it is not steril white. It is visible it was created by love and empathy and creativity. The staff is always very kind,smiling and helpfull ,similar as owner Olive and her mom. Loved the pool and the view. We also enjoyed painting the coconut with teacher for the kids,who was very patient and encouraging.

A good price for a choice for family as they have mini houses with enough space. Kinda quiet!

- Facilities are in poor condition. Speciallt is swimmimg pool, in photos it looks great for kids bit the slide is crackes and rotten. When you slide down, your skin will be scratched. The restaurant has not many ppl working so service is slow and they are not good with English - My studio designed a bit weird with toilet and bath room is between 2 rooms, if you want ro go to another room need to walk through toilet. The bath tub has no curtain so water will be everywhere. Toilet water is not strong for flushing. - A lot of mosquitos in the room. No matter that they have bed cover or anything other ways that we tried. - Airconditions are so slow to be cool up - wifi is very weak - i really not recommend

We loved how rustic and rural it was even being so close to the centre of Lamai. The hotel has many unique wooden villas set out randomly over the property. Each walk way is an adventure. Positive quotes are painted everywhere. It has a hippy vibe. This isn't luxury but we didn't want that. We had a 2 bedroom villa. AC was good enough. There's a few little bugs around the place (just to warn you) but what do you expect living in the jungle?! The views from the hotel are amazing!! This hotel is not pretending to be 5 star. It offers you an authentic Thai style holiday. We live in Dubai and we loved this hotel. But please be prepared. It's very green. Animals live there. Bugs live there. It's the same all over Thailand. We'd use this hotel again. Olive on reception will also help with anything you need. I stayed with 6 year old and a 10 year old boys, if you have small babies and buggies it would be a bit more difficult with the steep steps but not impossible. My kids loved the slide from the upper pool to the lower! We had a great time. Thank you! The food is also good here. It's just a few minutes walk to the beginning of the main street in Lamai and a couple of minutes walk to the beach.

The things you would moan about we already were prepared for. It is rustic. It is designed to be old school and authentic. You will see the odd bug in Thailand. The beds weren't 5 star luxury. The decor is more 1960 then 2023 but we wanted it. My wife said this is the happiest hotel in Thailand.

Gorgeous views from the hill down into Lamai from the specious veranda. The staff were lovely. The resort was amazingly colourful with lots of plants. So much effort had been put in with the bright colours. It must have taken years and years. It had a super relaxed vibe. Good food and drink. The apartment was very spacious. Great aircon.

The rooms were quite dark which was less desirable at night. The steps down to Lamai are very steep so not for someone with limited mobility although you can easily get a taxi. The bed was super hard. All the details were clear about the location on the top of the hill, but for us we decided we want to be by the sea.

Let me tell you about this place! This hotel is one of a kind. An hippie inspired, Colour booming experience.The owner and her family are fun and loving people. She travelled the world and have now made this incredible and colourfull resort. You have inspirational quotes on the walls and great food! The resort is perfekt for both families with children and couples and solo travellers. It’s placed up the hill - so expect a lot of stairs. Massage therapist was great. Big grocerystore near by. We’ll go back anytime. Mama and Marley.

Beach a little too far. A 15 minute walk. Nothing else. It’s just at lovely place.

The location was an absolute precious place, artwork everywhere with a very positive atmosphere. You could feel that the owners love this place. I joined very special yoga practice Monday Wednesday Friday with a great teacher. My kids loved the pool, it is a quiet place to stay surrounded by nature, 10 mins walk to the beach which is very lovely.

Those with a handicap might have problems as the ways are bumpy and left natural :-) we loved it.

Amazing place! Colorful details everywhere, I have never seen anything like this. Beautiful for both eyes and soul! Amazingly friendly staff and fantastic view. Five minute walk from Lamai beach. Nice clean pool and spacious family room with great views from windows and porch. We loved this place!

The resort is SUCH a beautiful and cool place. We felt like living in a huge art gallery. No matter where you look. You see creativity and art everywhere. The kids also enjoyed it. There are many funny and cute figures around, a fish pond, a fun pool etc. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the amount of "wildlife" in our livingroom. There are no screens on the windows and you are surrounded by beautiful nature so... yeah... we had a few guests. 😀 But the appartment was kept really clean and nice in general. We would love to come again one day. All the best to the kind owner and staff!

Really lovely chilled vibe, quirky paintings, beautiful gardens and out the way of partying but amenities and beach walkable. Hosts could not have been friendlier - went out their way to accommodate my daughter’s dairy allergy. Daughter loved the pools

Expensive transfer at the end of our stay to the ferry terminal. Slide not really usable as it’s rips holes in clothing 😬

If you're not staying then at least visit it as a museum - place has amazing architecture, vibe, style, design. Very special experience with spectacular view

Reception is somewhat short on staff; location is a bit away from "main" road (which can also be a plus) and getting back to hotel (I almost wrote "climbing") can be physically challenging - narrow pathway is barely noticeable from main road
