First off, THE BREAKFAST! The most extensive and delicious breakfast buffet we had during our entire trip. They have everything, including a loose-leaf tea bar, an espresso maker, a chilled room with meat and cheese, Thai food, western breakfast foods, etc. The hotel does a beautiful job of blending the bungalows and service buildings into the jungle; it is like staying in luxury in the middle of the jungle! Be aware that the property is large and some of the bungalows are a good 5-7 minute walk to the lobby/restaurant; it may not be the best option for anyone with mobility challenges. The room was beautiful, with great attention to detail (like the best-smelling hand soap!). The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. For the price, everything is outstanding.

Children. Specifically babies and toddlers. Nothing ruins a delicious, relaxing breakfast overlooking the ocean like a screaming baby. It would be nice if the hotel had Adult Only areas (i.e. one pool, a specific area of the dining space). It's great that new parents and families can enjoy the resort, but the abundance of young children got exhausting when we, as childless people, were trying to relax and take advantage of and enjoy all the resort had to offer. The onsite food (not breakfast) was pretty mediocre and expensive; had the food been more reasonably priced, we would have been happy to eat there for most of our meals.

Quiet village with excellent service and location. We had 4 near perfect days in Koh Yao Yai Village.

We had specifically booked the sea beach villas at much higher cost as being ON the beach was super important to us. Infact that was the main criteria for our selection. On the day of our arrival we were informed they do not have the villas available due to some construction work, leaving us no choice in the matter. Though they did give us a very nice sea view villa, the disconnect from the beach to our stay mattered a lot and that is why I have marked the stay as 'not perfect'. I wish we were told before so that we didn't feel that we had no choice.

The location and resort grounds are stunning and hard to surpass anywhere in world in my experience to date. The beachside Villa was wonderful and the outside shower a treat. The infinity pool is huge and perfect to take in the stunning location. Breakfast provided plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and eager to make your stay as good as possible.

The food In restaurant for evening meal was only average and let down the overall quality of the resort. There was some weird high pitched mechanically generated whistling sound which disrupted the peace and tranquility of the place intermittently during the day - forgot to ask reception what it was but needs fixing!

This is an amazing place to stay, nicer than some 5 star properties we stayed at on other islands. The infinity pool is huge and silky, and there are two pools to enjoy. The food in both restaurants was amazing and the room was huge with a lovely outside terrace. Overall very spacious, comfortable and gorgeous room. The staff let me use the fitness room before its official opening time and the spa treatments were fantastic.

It seems that for the prices the hotel charges, they should be able to afford £10 a month for a Spotify Premium account. The restaurant and the pool had music blasting from Spotify all day which was unpleasant enough, but made even more irritating by the Thai advertisements which came on every 15 minutes. If you must play music from Spotify, please spend £10 a month on a Premium account to remove the advertisements!!

Exceptional. Amazing. An experience we will never forget. The hotel is so underrated and the pics on the different websites don't give any credit to this place. It's a paradise. All guests we met were amazed and had the same review. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and you live in a green jungle next to the beach. The resort is like a nature reserve. The infinity pool is great with spectacular views, you'll never want to leave. The beach has hammocks. Breakfast and restaurant were lovely. The attention to details was certainly clear. You can also get lucky with game viewing (we saw a Water Monitor!) - Paradise! Recommended to everyone and anyone.

Amazing swimming pool, amazing breakfast with a lot of choices, kind staff, access to the beach, possibility to do paddle for free, possibility to rent bikes at the restaurant nearby, nice room with outdoor shower.

it was absolutely stunning. amazing views from the infinity pool and the restaurant overlooking the ocean and other thai islands. the resort “rooms” are really gorgeous little villas nestled in the jungle, private, clean and so well designed. the staff were all incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. such a gorgeous environment and will definitely recommend to others visiting thailand. a first class experience.

there wasn’t anything not to like!

the view from the infinity pool was absolutely spectacular and the pool itself was huge and clean with plenty of sun beds available at all times of the day. there were beach towels provided and even a cute beach bag that you could use from each room. plenty of shade under the umbrellas available. the rooms were stunning with a half living room outdoor theme. it was very clean and comfortable we loved the feel of being in nature and around the resort we saw lots of animals and read about them on the cute information boards that were placed around. we saw water monitors, bats, butterflies, lizards. the Wi-Fi was good around the resort, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the lighting In the room was nice, everything was very clean, the provided toiletries were good quality. the staff were all so friendly and lovely. the guy who does the cocktail bar was an absolute pro and there was 2 happy hours per day 1-3 and 7-9 which made the cocktails very reasonably priced so we enjoyed that! check in was smooth and the girls on the desk were welcoming and provided all the info we needed and even ran our bags to the room on the golf buggy. breakfast was good and had lots of choice.

the food in the restaurant was very bad and very poor quality. the view is the main aspect of dining there as it is amazing however the food is awful. the sandwiches were left over from breakfast, the rice was bland and soggy. the curry was watery and had no flavour and barely any chicken in it. we were going hungry until we discovered the restaurant just outside the hotel. if you go to the restaurant just outside of the hotel - they do the most amazing food! just don’t waste your money dining in here.

The most perfect place I have ever stayed!! Wish we could have stayed longer! Staff were so lovely and attentive! The nature is beautiful and the rooms are amazing!

The location is perfect if you want to disconnect. I loved my villa, the food, facilities at the property. It was a perfect holiday.

There's no nearby shops for any emergency supply (either bring everything you might need with you or rent a scooter) The cleaning service was a bit irregular (one time they woke me up, and they didn't always change all the towels, even though I needed them).
