I had a wonderful stay here at Tha Khao Bay. It is very beautiful and I felt incredibly safe and relaxed here. You are nestled in the jungle and then there is a beach in front you can swim in when the tide is high and other beaches on the island. Everything I needed was organised for me and Mr Linh and his family were all so friendly and kind. The island is so peaceful and there is plenty to explore and do. I loved my stay here and it was incredibly good value. Such an amazing place! They also had a proper coffee machine :) I was a little warm at night in the fan room as it was hot season but I did expect this and it was reflected in the good value and meant it was so peaceful in the resort.

They are extremely kind and helpful. I've been there only one night but I wish I could stay there another week. The view from the restaurant and my hat were spectacular. I woke up early to see the sunrise The color of the sky changed gradually with amazing nature. Happy to be there even one night.

It's in nature so I don't want to complain about this but just share what happened to me. I had a sudden visit from a wild rat when I was in the bathroom. So the wet rat try to escape around bathroom from my screaming and the room is very slippery so it couldn't get away from here. Eventually he found the way out. It was unpleasant but we were in the nature so it could be happened. Still I want to stay their place again!

Everything! This place is amazing. The perfect island getaway. The view from the bungalow and restaurant is breathtaking. The food is delicious. I don’t have enough words to describe the friendliness of the owners and staff. They are simply the best! They gave a New Year’s Eve party for their family and the guests. We felt so honoured to be invited. They have kayaks and scooters for rent so you can explore the beautiful island. They can also arrange tours to other islands. We were sad to leave this wonderful place.

The most amazing people so helpful, and most beautiful view Ive ever expirienced, anywhere in the world with sunsets to die for. Lots of wildlife in the forest around you, watching hornbills from oir veranda. The small resteraunt was one, if not the best on the island we visited. We hired mopeds which were a great price and good quality. Internet connection was stable and quick. Perfect stay in paradise.

We loved everything, but you are close to nature. The odd insect will find its way into your room and occasionally there are Monkeys close to the tree houses (we didnt see them).

Booking, you need to extend your review scale - this accommodation deserves at least 15 points :) The family who owns the accommodation are the most lovely, welcoming, attentive people and made sure all their guests felt at home and taken care of. They organized a beautiful day trip to the surrounding islands for me which I highly recommend. The food at their restaurant was really good and the view from the restaurant and the bungalows was incredible. It's possible to watch the sunrise from bed and listen to the sounds of the animals in the surrounding forest. I really hope to come back one day!

Just as a side note - the basic bungalows have openings where all kinds of smaller animals can enter. They have mosquito nets over the bed but if you don't want nature to be too close to you, maybe consider booking one of the higher class bungalows.

What a wonderful place! Bungalows hidden in lush vegetation, chirping birds for company day and night, the rising of the sun and the moon, the sounds and smells of nature and a breathtaking view of the Andaman Sea. Relaxing in the hammock, lying in bed with the windows open or gazing at the opposite islands from the restaurant area, I enjoyed every moment of my stay. All family members are incredibly welcoming and kind. They even arranged a very nice boat trip for us, rented us a motorbike and booked us tickets to Koh Lanta, all at a very reasonable price. This was my paradise and the perfect place for those who want to feel part of nature.

I know Bayview since many years and always came for the lovely food, the spectacular view and the wonderful people. This time I was lucky to stay a week in a spacious, very comfy bungalow with fantastic view. The bed was large and good, the sofa was great for some siesta and reading. There were enough cupboards and shelves for storing things and I also loved the huge bathroom with the window just above the sink. The terrace offered everything you needed including a hammock. I absolutely recommend to stay in these wooden/bamboo bungalows instead of concrete buildings as it cools down in the night, you always get a brise through all gaps and splits (no air con is needed!) and walking on wood feels so much better. Sure, my hut was not the newest with some holes in the ceiling but never mind and no need to be scared - that way I had the nice experience the host a breeding Tokeh (big gecko) hidden in a trunk. Last but not least, the owner family is simply incredibly nice and caring and cook extremely yummy food. :)

An exceptional experience staying in bungalows with a superb view of the bay. Mr Ling and his family are incredibly welcoming and looked after us during our stay. Their restaurant set amongst tall trees has one of the most peaceful outlooks I have seen combined with lovingly cooked food and great coffee. I traveled here to get away from the hustle and mass tourism. A wonderful surprise was the sunrise Tai Chi on the beach in front offered by The Island Yoga. This paradise is quiet and far away from the full moon party islands and white sand five star commercial resorts. I feel I had a meaningful trip and experienced simple and enriching island life. Thank you Mr Ling and family for your effort and genuine hospitality.

This place is absolutely amazing! Accommodation is simple, though very spacious rooms, quiet and views are breathtaking! The family who runs it, is very welcoming and took care of us in a fantastic way. Great food (mango sticky rice and panang curry at their best!), toucans flying over our heads and hammock I've been dreaming of the entire trip :) Definitely our place no 1 during our whole stay in Thailand. Highly recommended if you are a fan of nature and tranquillity. You can rent a scooter to see the island. Thank you once again ❤️

Amazing view. The room was actually larger & nicer than expected (we've stayed in jungle huts before, but this one was extremely clean, floors newer). Really large fridge (but nowhere near to buy food, lol). There is a large balcony with hammock. Watching the sunrise, listening to all the birds and monkeys is spectacular. The restaurant there has amazing view also, good food. We had absolutely NO issue with mosquitos or any bugs inside our room (they are definitely outside so good to have repellent). Island Yoga (nearly next door) has great drop-in class every day.

No breakfast included in price. Fans were broken (we don't like to sleep with aircon all night). Bathroom needs updating (basic Thai "shower room" no curtain or barrier to prevent water spraying entire room) Staff never emptied our trash (trash bin was full of soda cans, water bottles, tissue, etc). They are not exactly generous with the kleenex thin toilet paper. No convenience store next door and no beer served (or allowed) at the restaurant. Maybe it was the wrong season, but at the beach there was just sand & rocks, no water, except when tide comes in for about 2 hours.
