The people here are amazing. So friendly and kind, you feel like part of the family. Their food was delicious, they had a taxi truck with driver available for our excursions, and the natural setting was lovely. The accommodations are simple but clean, and the air con worked well. And it's only a few minutes walk from the Nam Tok Railway Station. We also noticed many efforts at sustainability, including buildings set up around trees (rather than tree removal), collection of rainwater, repurposed coconut shells as planters, and a lot more. We loved it here and never wanted to leave! PS one morning we asked for pancakes and they didn't have any but they must have gone to the market for us because when we returned to the accommodations mid-afternoon they'd made us the most delicious pancakes as a snack. They're just an absolutely lovely family running this place.

Asian beds are often very firm and that's how these were.

Fantastic location for day trip by local Red bus to Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre. Friendly staff, seems like a big family run business. Free pickup from the train station - great for us because our train arrived in the dark, 1830. Dinner is available until 8pm. Cold beer at a good price. Clean. 2 complimentary bottles of water each day. A lovely local feel with many locals dropping in to their shop to buy things. Sitting in their outdoor restaurant is fun to watch Thai life go by.

the bed was hard but for 2-3 nights we'd stay again. It's worth it for us due to the location and ease of visiting Hellfire Pass independently (by local bus) with no stress of getting to / from Kanchanaburi on the train the same day.

This place really is a remote little paradise. However, how much you like it, might depend on WHERE your room is located. Mine was on the 2nd floor opening up to a lovely outdoor terrace with views of palm trees and mountains. I'm sure the bottom floor rooms are just as nice, but it was this lovely terrace then! My room was incredibly nice, spacious and spotlessly clean. It's definitely worth staying at least 2 nights here. You can easily do a day trip to Hellfire pass by a local bus. In fact, if I KNEW about that bus, I would have booked 1 more night and done a day trip to Sai Yok Yai waterfall as well. This Homestay also has a restaurant and a convenience store out front, with local prices. Excellent Wifi as well, and it's run by Avery friendly family.

I don't think their cheapest rooms are on Booking.com! I checked several days in the future and couldn't find them. Those rooms have bamboo clad walls and have common bathroom. And, guess what? They are around that lovely upstairs terrace!

Lovely family run guesthouse walking distance from the train station. Make sure you carry a stick or rocks to deter the dogs on the way. Room was lovely, didn't need aircon and it was nice to sleep with just fan in a screened room. Excellent shower, comfy beds. Ate at the restaurant out the front for some good Thai food. The waterfall is a short walk away and good for a dip but not really swimming. Owners got up at 5am to take us to the train station for the 5:20am train so that the dogs wouldn't worry us!!

We were really looking for a quiet and nice stay, and this is exactly what we found. The Homestay is run by a family who really tries to make you feel comfortable. The area is pretty and very close to the waterfall and the Hellfire pass. Some restaurants and supermarkets are in walking distance as well. The family tries to take the small things into account, such as flip flops at the entrance of the bathroom and a small bottle of water at our door

The communication through booking basically wasn't there. We had asked for two separate beds and put out a question about transportation to the Homestay, but we either got a very late response or no response at all. Secondly, the mattress of the bed was really hard, which causes you to feel every twist and turn that's being made.

A lovely peaceful homestay run by a very warm & friendly Thai family who also manage a shop and restaurant on site. Two of the ladies speak very good English and can help with booking trips, arranging travel etc. The food served in the restaurant was delicious and not expensive (there is an extensive breakfast pancake menu! 🥞) For this price the rooms are very comfortable, with AC, dressing table, fridge, bedside lights and complementary shower gel, shampoo, toilet rolls and bottled water. We had a lovely stay and didn't want to leave! Hoping to stay again soon.

Can't think of a single thing ☺️

Loved this place. Really friendly family run homestay. Rooms were clean and quiet and spacious. Comfortable outside sitting areas, and even a free coffee corner. We ate at the restaurant there and although limited options, it was fantastic value for money. Conveniently located for both the station and all the sights in the area.

Transport options were limited in that Grab was rarely available, but we managed to get songthiews and the owners even arranged for their uncle to drive us back to Kanachaburi.

A very large, clean, and bright room with all the required facilities. Everything functioned very well. Excellent food was provided in the restaurant. Breakfast could be served on the terrace just outside the room. The hotel provided pickup service to and from the train station as well as to and from Erawan National Park. The staff were very kind.

If you are looking for a great cultural experience, this is the place It's a short distance from the train station and they pick you up once the train arrives anyway. Besides the nearby waterfall you must visit the Hellfire pass interpretive Center and hiking trail. It's an easy to get to 20 km trip by public bus which you can catch 10 minutes walk down the road at the waterfall

This is a very comfortable home stay at the bottom of the mountain surrounded by nature and Wildlife. It is less than a 10-minute walk to the waterfall and and less than 5 minutes to the train station. The food was also delicious. I recommend the on-site restaurant. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. We highly recommend this Homestay to anyone.

Nothing. Everything was great.
