It’s a beautiful hotel with the best view on the island. It is peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant and pool view is so beautiful. The breakfast is very good. They also make traditional Thai food for lunch and evening meals. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

It is not the fault of the hotel but now the soi dogs on Koh Mak have come into the hotel and resort areas where they never used to be. The dogs are aggressive and chase in Packs in the dark hours. I was chased more than once. They prowl the roads behind the resorts. Even there was a pack behind seavana and Koh Mak resorts. We had to take a security guard with us sometimes. It would be great if this problem was worked out, the dogs cared for and helped and the tourists able to walk safely after dark.

Great view and excellent location with great staff

Wi-Fi not working and went to the wrong pier to pick me up after they have the correct information.

We spent a few days on the island and had to book on short notice, so we decided for this hotel as the best choice. Our decision proofed to be good because the hotel is on top a hill across from the main pier where you arrive with the speedboat so you have great view over the bay. The location is close enough to restaurants and bars only a short walk away. We rented mopeds for 200 BHT close by and cruised all around the island which was very relaxed and a lot of fun since there is hardly any traffic on the island. When booking, go for a superior room because those are on the first and second floor and have seaview from the side. Those on ground floor are quite dark and lack any view. Beds were very firm but comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast was good and enough with a choice of 4 different warm variations made of different egg styles and a small salad on the side.

The hotel's interior is made of mainly wood which gives it a warm and cozy touch, though the rooms are a little dark and look a bit old-fashioned. The poolside is nicely decorated with stone statues around it but lacks enough sunbeds. There were only six available which is way too few for the size of the hotel.

You can have massages in your room and they have a scooter for rent. They help with bookings for restaurants, activities and the speedboats. Walking distance to beaches, restaurants and shops. Large breakfast with good choice. we had a great stay here.

The restaurant has a good menu but the quality was inconsistent, and even the same dish came out made entirely differently a few times. The restaurant was very quiet. if there was a coffee machine with proper espresso, I think many more people would visit to enjoy a coffee and the view.

Beautiful view from the terrace and swimming pool. Resort is located on a hill and very, very quiet. Close to the "center" of restaurants and shops. Islanda staff is absolutely fantastic. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food - papaya salad, the best on the island:))They make You fell like You are in home. It was our second time in this place and we hope we will come back.

The staff was really friendly and very accommodating especially to our mom who’s very old. The food was great 👍🏽 we tried other places on the island and they were not up to the same level as their restaurant.

Contacting them via Booking.com was hopeless. They didn’t respond at all to any messages even after I reached out to Booking.com for support.

Great location, super friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended! The swimming pool with it's view is super nice.

The restaurant can use a little upgrade, the breakfast ain't much.
