The breakfast was great! Amazing selection of food and eggs are freshly made in front of you. The staff were really polite and accommodating - both breakfast and reception!! It's tricky to find english speakers, so it was helpful that the receptionists were able to speak English with us. They gave us tips on where to visit and also helped us with the small things like ordering a cab or ordering food. A special thank you to the amazing reception crew RASUL, TARIK, CAN & METEHAN. These men will be the reason that we return at Almina hotel. We highly recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at this small but charming hotel. Its central location made it easy for us to explore the city, and everything was just a short walk away. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was a real highlight—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. A special shout-out to Vedat, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. His kindness and attentiveness truly made our experience memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

There isn‘t anything negative to say.

Sultanahmet area is overwhelming in terms of how many hotels there are, but Almina Guest House really had very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. excellent location, great facilities and easy access the iconic old city attractions like The Blue Mosque and Hayasofia. Delicious breakfast buffet on the rooftop terrace. My 6 night stay was really comfortable. Almina really cares about their guests and their reputation.

Very good location. Rooftop breakfast area. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Mahmut and Laila who work in the breakfast area. Everyone was eager to please. Nazli, daytime receptionist, was very helpful and always greeted with a friendly smile.

The cleaning could be a little more thorough. The bath products could be better quality. They could offer free water daily instead of trying to make money by overcharging for little bottles of water that cost nothing. The same goes for charging an extra 5 Euros for a scrambled egg. This doesn’t make business sense and just irritates guests. The tattooed evening reception guy could be friendlier.

The location is good, it is quiet there, but at the same time you can find restaurants near the hotel, markets and Hagia Sophia and Basillica Cistern). We lived in the room of the main building on the 2nd floor. The room is cozy, it was cleaned every day. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and various. The restaurant of the hotel is located on the last floor and during breakfasts we had a very beautiful view of Bosfor. We paid by cash in USD, as they told they accept USD, EUR, TRY.

The hotel is located near railway, you can hear the sound of the trains, but it didn’t disturb me and my husband.

I arrived early in the morning and the staff was welcoming and helpful, I could even check in at 9am already and was offered breakfast. The breakfast was plenty and had lots of dishes to choose from. Room was clean and comfortable, and pretty quiet even though it is in a central location (not even a 10min walk from the Blue Mosque).

All good, maybe a few more vegan options at breakfast would have been nice. Room was a bit bright as the curtains didn't cover the entire area.

The location is good and bad at the same time. It's close to the iconic mosques, but there are literally no good places to eat/drink around. It's an old building with pretty thin walls, so don't expect you'll be able to sleep till late.

It was super cozy. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Perfect location. Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Blue Mosque, etc all tourist spots are just around the corner. Restaurants are literally everywhere!

It is situated beside roads, sometimes you woke up from the sound of the cars. Advise to travellers - better to have a backpack instead of roller luggage when you are travelling using public transportation. the roads in Istanbul are not even and hilly.

The room was nice and clean and not noisy at night. Unlike most hotels in the area, this hotel is located in a quiet part of the neighborhood. Above all, the staff was awesome and the excursions (boat + bus) they proposed to us were definitely worth it, it’s not a scam at all! The staff was also always available though we did not have much to ask from them.
