A very comfortable place to stay that is fantastically located, good value for money, and excellently run. The hotel is in the middle of a lively area of bars and restaurants, a few minutes walk to the waterfront and Gelata Bridge, 15 minutes upto the tower and 3 minutes from the T1 tram which gets you to all the tourist sites in 10 minutes (or a pleasant 30 minute walk). The 2 owners, Tayfur and Omer, deserve every success. Tayfur, in particular, did everything in his power to make our stay memorable. A really good experience for a mid-60s aussie couple, travelling with their adult son and partner. Just one spoiler alert. The hotel is on 4 floors, with no lifts- so that might be a problem for some (although Tofur and Omer will insist, anyway, on carrying your bags up and down the stairs!). Highly recommended!

The owner was incredibly helpful in terms of organising a taxi from the airport, helping us with our bags, recommending things to do and places to eat/drink. The location was excellent with lots of great places to eat nearby. The room was very clean and was a decent size with effective air conditioning.

Completely not the fault of the owner but the guests staying above our room during the later part of our stay were noisy throughout the night which made it hard to sleep. They spoke loudly in the corridors, banged doors and thumped around - not great a 2am... 3am... etc.

The location is exceptional at Casa Rosa Suites, it is 5 min walking distance to the Bosporus River where you can see locals fishing (humans and cats). It is nestled within a network of small streets with cafes, restaurants and near the Galata Tower. The hotel is also super near the famous Karaköy Güllüoğlu baklava store. The service is exceptional. It's a small hotel run by a few people, Omer and Tayfur were always available on whatsapp to support me. I arrived late (at midnight) and needed help with luggage to my floor and Omer turned up to help drag my heavy suitcases up. (Super appreciative of this, especially I'm a solo female traveller who probably bought one too many souvenirs).

No fault of the hotel, but it is a walk up hotel to the different floors, but with help from the hotel owners, it wasn't a big deal.

We loved this place! The host was great, he provided some really excellent recommendations and was very responsive. He also very kindly waited for us to check in even though we arrived very late. The room was big, bed was very comfortable, cool with air con and the room was cleaned immaculately every day. The location was just great, it's on a quiet street but right amongst cafes and bars, perfect for strolling around in the evening or morning, a really nice atmosphere. I would 100% stay here again if we go come back to Istanbul.

An iron and ironing board in the room would have been good! Everything else was perfect.

Casa Rosa Suites is well located in Karakoy with the rest of the Beyoglu area easily walkable from it. The area is filled with bars, cafes, eateries, and gift shops. Its is also a short walk to the Bosphorus and the many boat trips and the city open top tourist bus options. The biggest plus however is the people who run it and the cafe located below. Very helpful, very friendly. Expert knowledge to answer your questions. We spent little time in the room but found it had everything we needed. We were 4 friends on a city break. In summary great hospitality from owners, good base to explore wider city but then be near nightlife in Karakoy and in Beyoglu, and rooms are in our view keenly priced.

The rooms we had were adequate, just on the small side. I researched many properties in area and read many other reviews saying rooms tend to be small in these older buildings as its city centre and so spaces is a premium. We had air conditioning, twin beds, storage, and a bathroom. So while listing room size as a negative this would not prevent me booking again as plus factors far out weighed this element.

Tayfur, our host, was excellent. He waited for us with our late check in, contacting via WhatsApp and when we arrived he was very friendly and gave us a thorough explanation of the room and local area. He organised a taxi for us on checkout which was there early and great. When the door had issues opening late in the night, he was available to contact and sorted this problem. The hotel is in a really cool area with many restaurants and bars but not overcrowded like some other areas. The room was serviced everyday and the balcony was nice.

A little bit of noise at night but not too bad. Many steps but again we were fine with this.

The hosts Tayfur and Ömer were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided all the key information alongside a warm welcome and fun conversations. Despite the fact that I lived in Istanbul for several years before, they were able to provide information I would never be able to find myself about where to see and what to do. The room definitely exceeded my expectations. It was immaculately clean, practical and at an excellent location. I would definitely seek to stay there whenever I visit Istanbul. Perfect for couples or a single traveller.

All was just perfect

Excellent location for touring Istanbul, surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Very close to public transport and within walking distance to some major attractions. The owners are really friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to see. The room was very comfortable, perfect for a solo traveler or a couple.

The stairs up to the rooms are narrow and a bit steep, so this could be a problem for people with reduced mobility or large suitcases. The bathroom is also very small. It's located in an area with bars, cafes and restaurants, so it's noisy at night, though the windows mostly block it out.

Room looks exactly as on photos. Beautiful design. Everything is very clean. Tayfor and Ömar are perfect hosts, very responsive, helpful, accommodating and simply very nice people. Thank you! The accommodation is close to main attractions. Everything is walkable.

Everything was fine, though it might be useful to know: The bathroom is neat and clean, but it is probably more for smaller people like us. There is no lobby, but as mentioned before, Tayfur & Ömar got everything under control. Expect stairs - well, Istanbul is full of these anyhow.
