The hotel is located next to the tram and close to the metro. It is also within walking distance from major attractions (15-20 min walk) Staff is kind and speaks English. Breakfast was nice, with a decent variety of olives, cheeses, bread, eggs, rice, plygour, yogurt, tea, coffee etc. They also offer a complimentary bottle of water every day. Overall the hotel is value for money, for those looking at the lower price spectrum. Definitely recommended!

The lighting in the room is not sufficient. Also, the shower doors had an opening which means that we had to be careful not to spill water all over the floor. Nothing serious, just a bit annoying. Room service would enter the room after knocking on the door, in case you didn't hang the "do not disturb" sign. Given they started cleaning early in the morning, you had to get up to put the sign on the door if you wanted privacy. Maybe they should only enter the room if you hand the sign "make up my room".

Mr Orhan was very good. He gave us late checkout freely (at 2:30pm).

The rooms were small.

The hotel is situated in a prime location near Aksaray tram station and it is very convenient to either walk or take a tram to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand bazaar, Istanbul University, Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, Spice bazaar, near Galata tower and many more. Breakfast was a good experience to try their local food. The hotel staff are very helpful and respectful especially from the reception team Orhan, Abdullah (Superman), Abbas, Volkan and Housekeeping staff Melike. Facilities within the room was good like toiletries were provided every single day, towels, tea and water. Heating was working in the room. There are dark out curtains in the room and you could literally sleep longer than usual. The hotel was busy and full with people. Lots of families were staying at this hotel too. All the staffs are trustworthy. We had a lovely time in Delta hotel hope to visit the same hotel again very soon InshaAllah and visit many more places in Turkey 🇹🇷. Thank you to all the people mentioned above for looking after us and treating us well.

Upgraded us to so called ‘suite’ which just seemed like a family room. Nice to have the extra room. The location is brilliant close to tram, metro and train. Would recommend

The cleaners weren’t always consistent. Went days without hand soap. Also had a few hours without water and didn’t compensate or apologise. Breakfast was the same everyday no fruit apart from oranges. Half board means you get a choice of 5 meals in the restaurant downstairs not anything more and service was terrible.

We had a fantastic 10-day stay at the Delta Hotel. The entire team was exceptionally hospitable and attentive, catering to our needs both within the hotel and offering helpful directions for exploring the city. A special mention to Mr. Orhan and Mr. Abdollah who ensured that we were always well taken care of. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and featured very comfortable bedding. Housekeeping was thorough, with fresh towels and linens provided daily. The hotel’s location is ideal, with excellent connectivity to public transportation, which runs very efficiently. It’s just two stops away from the Grand Bazaar, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight, expertly managed by Mr. Hashim. The spread offered a wide variety of flavors, from hearty soups to fresh ingredients and quality dairy products. It was the perfect start to our long days of sightseeing. The hotel also offers numerous facilities that make it ideal for both short and extended stays. With fair rates and exceptional service, I highly recommend staying at Delta Hotel.

Super nice hotel,great service,clean rooms and it had the amenities we needed.Breakfast was delicious and various and the view from the restaurant was very beautiful. The people in the reception were very helpful especially Mr.Orhan who was kind,friendly and patient.Thank you for your warm welcome and assistance during our stay. Your service was exceptional. I wish to thank also the waiter Ali in the breakfast service for his hospitality,he’s got a cheerful personality with a great attitude to work and costumers and a big thanks to Mr.Abdallah in the reception staff for always greeting us with a smile and a warm hospitality. Our stay was great thanks to all the staff members. Will definitely come back again!

All staff members, especially Mr Orhan, Valkins, Mohammed, and the star of the show was Abdullah. They all made us like home and really take good care of us. I have spent 14 days there and will come back again in the same hotel as they service was outstanding and go extra mile as well. The housekeeping team was excellent, and the laundry service was reasonable, and Abdullah was in charge of it, who was very professional and efficient. I recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in istanbul and Orhan and Valkins can arrange nice tour packages at very reasonable prices for you.

I had a wonderful stay at Delta Hotel Istanbul & Old City. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and offered stunning views of the city. The hotel's location, close to major tourist attractions, was ideal. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Mr. Orhan and Mr. Abdullah Avci for their hospitality and professionalism. Their warm welcome made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have an unforgettable stay in Istanbul.

The staff was very kind and helpful in the reception Mr. Orhan and his team was very kind and professional the breakfast was very delicious and comprehensive and have a very beautiful view on the Bosporus and The view of the seagulls is wonderful and the children are happy to see them when they are fed by Mr. Hashem or the people present Mr. Hashim the manager of breakfast was very creative and kind and helpful and also his team was perfect the cleaning is done everyday the location is very perfect and beside the bus station and very near to tram from side and metro from other side

Some days there is a noise come from the Restaurants outside the hotel is trying to isolate by adding two level of glass but it is the nature of this area

I booked a triple room for 4 days. The room was descent. The breakfast was nice with a variety of options provided. The reception had 24 hour service and a special thanks to Mr.Volkan who was able to communicate with us in English, which helped a lot. And specially they had a room where you could even leave your bulky luggage after check-out for a few hours. It helped us a lot. Overall, it was worth the price.

My room had a couple of problems which the staff were promptly trying to fix. But still they couldn't fix all of them.
