Malik and Yunus took such excellent care of us that I genuinely felt like I had returned home after visiting family. From the moment I booked to our check-in and check-out, the experience was exceptional. Our group, consisting of 8 people with over 10 pieces of luggage, booked two family suites. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean. Given our limited time in Cappadocia, they graciously stored our luggage at the hotel for almost two days. This level of hospitality ensures that I will only choose this hotel for all my future visits. They accommodated late checkouts, organized fantastic transportation, and patiently answered my numerous questions with a constant smile. The property is conveniently located close to all the attractions you would like to see when in Istanbul. But lets not forget this hotel rooftop will give you the most breathtaking view of the mosque. Breakfast is Turkish and something I looked forward to everyday during my stay. I cant wait to book the property again for my next visit! Thank you Yunus and Malik for looking after us so well!!

Extremely well located hotel, 100 yards from the end of the Hippodrome and 3 minutes' walk to the Blue Mosque. Fabulous view of the Blue Mosque from the roof terrace and from the 4th floor breakfast room. Tasty and plentiful breakfast. Very helpful staff, willing to arrange tours if that is what you need. Some good little touches such as use of umbrellas.

We requested and were given a non smoking room, however cigarette smoke pervaded the hotel, and it was evident from the smell that our neighbours on the floor were smoking, and that got into our room. We did mention it but not much was done about it apart from a thorough clean on the day it was mentioned. For a non smoker, that seriously detracted from the quality of the stay. Clearly a visit to Istanbul is not going to be a cigarette smoke free experience, but I do think the hotel could do more to make its rooms a refuge for non smokers rather than uncomfortably more of the same. If it did, then the hotel rating for me would be close to a 10.

the most beautiful and valuable thing in this hotel is the staff. very caring and kind to every detail. and you will be pleasantly surprised when you see that the entire staff is like one big family that loves every guest and will always greet you as the most welcome guest. i will definitely come back to you again when i find myself in Istanbul again…

First of all, I would like to point out that the strength of this hotel is the staff: friendly, ready to give you tips and help. The hotel's position is noteworthy, close to the area of ​​interest (cultural/commercial), easy to reach tourist attractions and public transport connections (tram T2). The view offered by the hotel terrace, but also by the breakfast restaurant is special (you can see the Bosphorus/Marmara Sea and the Sultanahmed Mosque). The breakfast is diversified and with local specifics. We used a room for three people with comfortable beds, well equipped and cleaned daily.

Each bite felt like a celebration of Turkish cuisine. The Service The staff at HaciBayram Hotel are simply incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure every moment of our stay was perfect. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel right at home. If I could rate this hotel 11/10 stars, I would. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience, a memory, and a feeling of being cared for like family. We can’t wait to come back!

WiFi could improve

The rooms are immaculate and the staff exceptionally friendly, helpful and entertaining! It is literally one block from the Blue Mosque and couldn’t be more conveniently located to the sights.

If you’re looking for a swimming pool or workout room, this is not the only lace for you. However, walking 6+ miles a day in seeing Istanbul easily replaced any need to workout or lounge around the pool.

From the moment we stepped into this hotel right in the heart of Istanbul's touristic district of Sultanahmet up until the moment we last stepped out, we were blessed with nothing short of truly exceptional customer service each and every time by the hotel's staff! It really was no exaggeration for Mr. Yunus to have said on our first night that they would be our "family" here. Each and every staff member, from the front desk to the kitchen staff, were kind and amazing human beings who honestly treated us as if we were part of each of their families. They never hesitated to accommodate our various requests during our week-long stay, actually always giving us more than we needed/asked! The front desk staff also gave us extremely sound and valuable advice for shopping in the bazaars of and getting around Istanbul every morning as we were leaving! And on top of this exceptional service experience, we were able to enjoy a truly delicious breakfast every morning, featuring eggs and many kinds of sliced meats, cheese, and sauces! I highly recommend trying their Turkish red pepper and walnut spread on some toasted bread-- definitely one of the highlights of my breakfast there! The view of the Blue Mosque in all its glory from the breakfast area was also spectacular-- was able to great a number of great shots of it just going outside from breakfast area! Room amenities were also very good-- there is fridge loaded with free water and fruit drinks along with a TV. The bathroom was the area we liked the most, with the incredible and comfortable shower area and nice toilets with bidets! Overall, we had wonderful time touring and experiencing Istanbul, and this hotel only heightened the overall experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are looking for a smaller hotel who will provide you with above-and-beyond service and cater to pretty much all of your needs!!

The rooms were spacious and quiet and offered a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel's location is ideal, close to essential services, the magnificent Fatih Mosque, and the iconic Hagia Sophia. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast, which featured a wide variety of options and was served in a beautiful setting with stunning views. Everything about this hotel was perfect. Location : two minutes away from the beautiful park that was once the Hippodrome of Constantinople, so we could just walk few minutes to get to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace, without depending on taxis or public transportation. We had a magnificent view of the Blue Mosque from our room and also from the terrace where breakfast was served. The reception staff could not be friendlier and more helpful. They gave us a lot of useful information, arranged airport transfer, made reservations for us to restaurants and Dervish show. Also made conversation with us late at night, when we were coming back to the hotel. :) Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, different kinds of cheese, cold cuts, Turkish mezze, olives, different breads, pastries, fruits, coffee, cappuccino. The kitchen staff was very polite and friendly, they were making omelets or fried eggs to order, one day they made a cake and served us to the table, also they would make Turkish coffee for us at any time of the day. Really amazing! Also, the kitchen and breakfast area were immaculate, as the rest of the hotel.
