Everything went well. My room was great, above the street but that went quiet at an acceptable time and the double glazing helped. It was 5 degrees outside but I didn't need the heating on at all. Plenty of very hot water and the bathroom was very clean. The bed was comfortable and I didn't hear other guests throughout the night. A few inconsiderate Man Utd supporters in the early hours didn't spoil things. Breakfast was fantastic. I like to sample local cuisine and this was. More than enough food and the tea/coffee were never ending. The location couldn't have been better. About 100m from the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Blue Mosque) and the Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Pakace and Spice Bazaar are well within walking distance. The manager was very friendly and informative. Perhaps one of the most interesting things is that complimentary tea/coffee/ local biscuits are served in the afternoon/evening in a small extension which was apparently a tunnel into the mosque grounds.

Nothing as far as I was concerned. I own a property in the UK and you are never going to please everbody. Some people will complain about the smallest thing, so I look at all reviews as opposed to looking at the odd person who moans. The Novano definitely lived up to it's rating. Note a complaint at all but prepared to be invited into every restaurant within walking distance. I consented and the food was sooo nice!

Lovely staff, clean, air con worked great, bed was comfortable & was really close to the main attractions & restaurants.

We were in the first room which was closest to the entrance door, which was fine the first night. However the next two nights it was quite noisy from the closing of the doors. Maybe the staff could just emphasise to guest to close the doors quietly after 10pm as guesthouse are using the rooms and will hear the doors slam shut. That being said despite our room was facing the road outside the street was relatively quiet from street noise so that was a plus. Still would stay again, I would just maybe ask for a room upstairs or further away from the front door.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Novano and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's location was fantastic, providing easy access to various attractions and amenities in the area. The staff at Hotel Novano were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The pickup and drop off at the airport allowed a stress free transport to and from the airport. I particularly enjoyed the lovely sitting area at the front of the hotel, which provided a great spot to relax and unwind. The staff was also very helpful in arranging last-minute tours, making my trip even more enjoyable. Close to Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, less than 5-10 minute walk. The room was clean and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The breakfast spread had a variety of options to choose from, open buffet style. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at Hotel Novano, and I wouldn't hesitate to book a room there again.

It's worth mentioning that there was some persistent salesmanship from restaurants and shops when it came to walking around the neighborhood and the even at the nearby mosques, which could be bothersome. Nevertheless, once I learned to ignore it, everything else about my stay was excellent.

We were very surprised with this small hotel in the middle of Sultanahmet (Old City) and right behind the Blue Mosque. A REAL GEM!! Walking distance to many main attractions, shops and restaurants. Fantastic and helpful staff, from the receptionists, up to the chef (preparing a delicious breakfast each morning), and up to the friendly cleaning lady. Complimentary coffee, cake and fruit available throughout the day. We would like to thank each member of the staff for making our stay something special. Everything was excellent!! The staff was very helpful, kind and friendly, available 24 hours. The location of the hotel was just in Sultanahmed Square, next to the big monuments of Aghia Sofia, Top Kapi Palace etc. The breakfast included had a really good buffet and we could drink tea with biscuits all day long. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Novano is located in the Sultan Ahmet area For those who have not been to Istanbul, it is the old part of the city around the park of the same name bordered by Aya Sofia and Topcapi Palace on one side and the Blue Mosque on the other. It is an area with winding and narrow streets and buildings (renovated!) from the time of the Ottoman Empire of which the vast majority are hotels! Being practically a hotel at every step is at the same time easy and difficult to make the right choice. We managed to do it by choosing the NOVANO hotel. It is a small hotel located on one of the streets in the area that allow car access, but even so the hotel is quiet and comfortable. NOVANO is more like a boutique hotel in which a few professional people are constantly concerned with ensuring the support and comfort of tourists. I have to make a special mention on this occasion for the guys at the reception (24/24, 24/7) Kivanch and Emin who during the 9 days were a real support for a successful stay. Thanks also to the lady from the kitchen who constantly took care to have a breakfast as close as possible to what we are used to. In short: - The position is excellent a few steps from the park and the great tourist attractions of old Istanbul. The T1 tram station is on the corner of the park and from there there is a connection to everything in Istanbul (including Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazar, Marmaray, Eminonu ferry area, etc.) - The hotel is small (including rooms) but quiet, comfortable and equipped with everything you need - Breakfast is excellent - In the afternoon, daily, the hotel offers free tea, coffee, fruit and cakes in the common relaxation area. - The VIP transfer provided by the hotel to and from the airport is EXCELLENT and more convenient in price than anything you find on the net. - Last but not least, the main feature from our point of view was the constant concern we felt from the staff to maximize our comfort. A suggestion: The pillows are big and strong ... maybe a small pillow on each bed would be desirable .. There were some other aspects in ours stay that I was not at all satisfied with but not having contact with the hotel I do not think it is appropriate to mention them here

We stayed in a double economy room. Although the hotel is small, it is very cozy. Keep in mind that the economy room faces the historical wall, so it can be a bit dark during the day. This didn’t bother us at all, but if natural light is important to you, you might want to book a room facing the street, which is slightly more expensive. The most important thing is that the room was always very clean, as was the entire hotel. Breakfast was delicious, with everything always fresh. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I would especially like to highlight the administrator, Turan, who was always ready to assist, offer recommendations on what to see in the city, and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. All the main attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. The street where the hotel is located is safe and quiet. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money, and in fact, it exceeded our expectations.

I recently stayed at Hotel Novano in Istanbul and had an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Topkapi Palace, making it an ideal base for exploring the city’s historic sites. The staff at Hotel Novano were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was cleaned daily and, although the furnishings were a bit dated, everything was well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The comfortable and cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent breakfast, which featured a variety of delicious vegetable dishes. It was a great way to start our day of sightseeing. Overall, Hotel Novano offers great value for money with its prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Great location. Lots of the main attractions are within walking distance others by tram.

My bag was tampered with while on the terrace by two young girls. The camera footage provided did show the girls enter the hotel lobby and attempt to enter the hotel further until they were stopped and talked to by the reception staff. The girls left, but on their way out opened my packed bag. I would have thought that the staff should have escorted the unwanted guests off the property completely, not just out of reception.

The staff, accommodations, and LOCATION were PERFECT! VERY hospitable, CLEAN, and within walking distance to the Haggia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and great local shopping (less than 50 feet from selection of GREAT restaurants that expands for many, many blocks!!), one tram stop from the Grand Bazaar/Egyptian Spice Bazaar (MUST visuts!!) and one tram stop from the shore/Bosphorus and every ferry/boat trip (including dinner cruising!) one could want.

There was absolutely nothing our party of 7 didn't like.
