I recently had the pleasure of staying at Louis Rooms in Istanbul. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it an excellent base for exploring the vibrant and historic city. One of the standout features of the hotel is the service. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. They were knowledgeable about the local area and were able to provide helpful recommendations for restaurants and sights to see. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Louis Appartement and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

This Hotel was my haven in a city so full of petty con artists looking to take advantage of you at every turn. This is where I felt comfortable and the 24/7 desk staff made me feel safe and genuinely cared about having happy guests. I stayed in a balcony room and really enjoyed my views of the city. The hotels also right in the heart of the city. just up the hill your on the main tourist shopping and dining street.

Very warm welcome by Simi, who was super helpful in checking us in, recommending places, and assisting with our luggage. The rest of the team were also great, helping us to make dinner reservations and arranging our taxi back to the airport (Youssef I think, thank you!). Our room was amazing, very clean, exactly as shown in photos and very peaceful. We also had great views of the city (balcony room). The location of the hotel was also perfect, surrounded by nice restaurants, shops and cafes, and only 5 mins walking to Istiklal Street. Had a wonderful stay and will definitely be recommending Louis Rooms!

The service at the reception was exceptional. We needed to do an early check in and the accommodated us with no issue which was a nice surprise. The staff was very helpful and willing to assist whenever needed. The daily housekeeping is very good, the room was all in all very very clean. The view from the balcony (even at the second floor) was beautiful overlooking Galata tower, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The bathroom is very spacious.

The location is very convenient if you are willing to walk less than ten minutes to reach public transport even though the area is very hilly. The bar across the street is quite loud but if you book the back rooms (with the city view) there is no disturbance at all.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great service. The location was superb. 5 min walk to the left and you’re on Istiklal street. 8 min walk down hill to the right and you’re at Tophane tram stop T1 line. 15 min walk to Galata tower. Our room was at back of hotel so very quiet with great views. Everything was comfortable.

TV channels do not cater for English. I like to have tv on in background when getting ready or catch up news in the morning. Although many channels available I could only find one English Channel that worked which was very repetitive. There was a Nespresso machine in your room but there is a 2 euro charge for 1 coffee pod. So we didn’t use it out of principle. Just seems a bit tight to us. Would rather them charge me an extra £10 for our stay or not give the complimentary small bottle of wine instead.

We had the most amazing stay at Louis Rooms in August, the room was beautiful and the views from the balcony were absolutely stunning! A great location, a short walk from Taxim square and loads of amazing local bars/restaurants. Also a 5 minute walk down the road is the Tophane tram stop that takes you directly to some great tourist spots like Galata Tower, Topkapi Palace and Ayasofya & Blue mosque. The biggest credit to Louis rooms though is without doubt their wonderful staff, we have stayed at many 5 star hotels but the service and level of care offered to us here was outstanding! Everyone was so kind and helpful, always greeting you with a smile and offering recommendations! We would recommend this place in a heart best and hope to return on our next visit to Istanbul!

Not an issue for us, but something that could be an issue for some visitors is that the hotel is situated at the top of a one way cobbled road, which is pretty steep and it is quite a climb especially in the summer heat. Most passer-bys had no issue but we did see some struggle to walk up so jsut something to consider

I encountered the cordiality of the Cansu girl, she was very friendly, upgraded the room category, was very quick in resolving issues, treated her with baklava upon check-in, a very nice girl, because of such employees I want to come back)

The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist or recommend local sights. It's rare to experience such a high level of service, and it deserves great commendation. Our room was located on the fourth floor, and we were fortunate to have a balcony offering enchanting views across Istanbul. Watching the sun set over the city skyline was a memorable experience, truly capturing the vibrancy of city life. The room itself was very elegant, with a modern and stylish interior that exuded both luxury and comfort. It created a pleasant ambiance, inviting relaxation after a long day in the city. All in all, Louis Rooms was a true pleasure to stay at. With an unmatched location, exceptionally friendly staff, and charming accommodation, it's an unbeatable option for those wanting to experience the best Istanbul has to offer. It receives my highest recommendation.

A minor note, however, was that the air conditioning could be a bit noisy at night. While it kept the room pleasantly cool, it slightly disturbed our sleep. It would be beneficial for the hotel to work on this to ensure an even more comfortable experience.

If only we'd stayed here when we arrived in Istanbul. We booked Louis Rooms after returning from the south of Turkey and what an amazing boutique hotel it was. It's a great location in the Beyoglu area and the staff are so helpful with great advice. We were treated by Egzi (I hope that's right) on our arrival and the information she provided was second to none. When we come back to Istanbul we will be staying at Louis Rooms.

Everything was just perfect so there is nothing negative to write.

"The location is perfect with small cafes and boutique shops nearby, as well as a barber and hair salon just steps away. Isteqlal street is only a 10-minute walk, and the must-see Galata Port is also within walking distance. The price of the hotel is ideal and exactly what we were looking for. The receptionists were all very nice and helpful with anything we needed.

We took Room 52 with a balcony. It's nice, overlooking the sea. It's clean and quiet, but smaller than I thought.
