This is an absolute gem of a hotel. The staff are helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is great. The views are splendid, out over Galata Port, with a peek into the Italian consulate’s garden on the way through. The wide oak floor boards, marble bathroom floors, and pared back textile palette all contribute to a calm and peaceful room. This is a hotel which epitomises Istanbul: modernity overlaying a proud and complex history. I want to live in this charming place. I will be back.

Cosy elegant boutique hotel, it is a renovated historic building, limited number of rooms but the rooms are massive nicely decorated with plenty of space and great amneties. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection of traditional turkish dishes with top quality ingredients served in a room with panoramic city views, it is such a charming way to start your day. Good location, opposite to the Italian consulate and close to Galata tower, taksim street and Karakoy tram and pier, you can also easily walk to the spice bazar within 15 minutes . The staff and service were exceptional.

Due to its location opposite to the Italian consulate, no cars are allowd on the hotel's street, it is for pedestrians only. So expect taxis to drop you within a very short, but steep, distance from the hotel. Important to keep that in mind if you are with limited mobility or have lots of bags (I'm sure if you ask the hotel can help you with that).

Absolutely stunning interior and exterior, immaculately clean and artfully decorated. Quiet spot in a busy and trendy area of the city due to proximity to the Italian embassy. Easy access to the tram. Quick walk to many of the sights (Galata Tower, Istanbul Modern, etc.). Lots of great shopping and eating in the neighbourhood and a quick walk to buzzy Karakoy. Incredible views of the skyline, dotted with minerets, Topkapi palace and Ayla Sofia. But the kindness and service of the amazing staff takes the cake!

Before 8 am and after 8 pm, no cars are allowed on the short walk from the Main Street to the hotel due to embassy security. It was not a long walk or a big deal at all.

Wonderful hotel in a quiet embassy neighborhood. Stop your research & book it, sit back & enjoy. We loved the decor, warmth, gorgeous views from our spacious 3rd floor rooms. Also breakfast and daily afternoon tea + snacks was delicious. Nothing but a great experience! Customer service was also outstanding -- Fuad in the restaurant is a gem and always so kind and helpful.

We had a perfect stay. Only thing to be aware of is that this hotel is located on a little hill, so you must be able to walk it up and down easily to get to the main shopping & tourist areas in Galata. Taxis also have no problem accessing it and will drop you off a block away.

Outstanding hotel with beautiful rooms, fantastic location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast, high cleanliness. Excellent bed with very nice pillows. The hotel is located only 5 min walk from Istiklal shopping street and similar distance to a stram station. 10-15 min walk to Gelata tower. Many nice local stores near the hotel. Despite its very central location, the neigherbourhood is very quiet. Istanbul is a huge, lively and at times noisy city, but Tomtom Suites has an ideal location. - The rooms are stunning. Great size. - The hotel offered us a free upgrade and gave us a welcome drink upon arrival. - The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. - The breakfast offer fantastic food of high quality with excellent servive. The view is amazing. - The hotel has complementary coffee, tea and snacks every day from 16:00-18:00 hrs Highly recommend this hotel.

Central location to shopping and tourist spots with the tram. The staff, hotel and morning breakfast room with a view of the city are great. The staff here goes out of the way to help you. The 4pm to 6pm tea service in the lobby is excellent. Great cookies, snacks all fresh and tea/coffee/water. You are a 15 minute walk from the cruise port and all the high end stores for shopping and food. Excellent access to the tram to bring you to all the sites. Dirt cheap fares just 1 stop to the river and fish for lunch or 5 stops to the blue mosque. At the bottom of the hill is a a hamam Try a Bath! and if you go to the right are all the local great dining at half the price of the cruise port. Lots of hiking stores for shopping on the right. At the top of hill from the hotel is a death vertical walk if you can make it. But we took tram one stop to access via the "TUNNEL entrance" fernicaular on both ends of the tram is the HIGH Street with 100's of retail stores and a ton of great cheap food. The standard suites are fantastic but friends got the luxury suite 41. Great if you are hosting a group or money no object, the biggest room I have seen in a hotel with two outdoor patios. A great party room to accommodate a group of 20 friends if they visit. The modern museum is down the hill.

If you are older and have mobility issues do not stay at this hotel, If you are younger and can walk up a vertical incline of a city block then great hotel. Its on a dead end street. You will be dropped off with your suitcases a city block away and have to drag up a vertical slope. NO car access from the top of the main high street and you have to walk down a vertical steep drop. Again if your young no problem, over 65 and you can expect to fall and get hurt. The issues with this central location is the dead end road to access the hotel on a slope is closed with crash guards. NO car can up to the hotel easily. IF after 7pm absolutely forget it. And if during the day when you return from being in the city all day it can be an ordeal to get the police to drop the barrier.

If you are in Berlin for business this is a great location and at the same time if you are a tourist you will also be happy with the location. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel and you are a quick walk from many of the historical interests that Berlin has to offer. Our room was comfy, the bed was nice with a great view. The staff was very helpful and professional and the Spa on the top floor was excellent. They also have a steam room and sauna that felt wonderful after we did so much walking. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurants were also very nice. I would definitely go back and stay at the TomTom.

Honestly I am sure there is something that could have been better but overall I enjoyed my stay. Maybe if anything make the US dollar stronger against the Euro!

Very quiet beautiful building converted from a convent. Large airy rooms with big windows a huge very comfortable bed with gorgeous linens, a fridge kettle and coffee machine. Lovely rooftop restaurant for breakfast. Exceptional staff at reception and restaurant who are friendly and helpful with directions suggestions for dinner etc. great location with a tram stop at the bottom of the road and a pedestrian street with restaurants shops and bars at the top. Very easy to get everywhere from here, we loved it.

The position, central, close to the Metro (Tophane), very quiet in a small street closed to traffic. We stayed there for 5 nights in a super comfortable suite, also provided of a living room. I never slept on such comfortable mattress/topper! The staff was extremely kind and collaborative in meeting all our requests. The breakfast was excellent, both in terms of quality and variety. It is served on a super relaxing rooftop with view. We could not find anything better! Tomtom suites thanks again for making our stay in Istanbul that lovely!!

Most of all I liked the view of the Bosphorus and the Harem from the restaurant window (on the top floor) and the very good tasty breakfast. Additionally, I was pleased with the tea hour from 17.00-18.00. This is coffee, tea nuts and cakes. It was especially nice to receive this on the first day immediately after arrival. I also liked that the hotel is located in a quiet area, on a street without cars. The room is large, nice large bath with hydromassage. A cozy corner for your desk. Bring coffee capsules with you, there is a coffee machine in your room. And of course, special thanks to the wonderful hotel staff.

We didn’t like the fact that it’s impossible to order individual dishes in the restaurant in the evening; you have to take the set at an expensive price. But this is not really about the quality of the hotel
