Extremely helpful and gentle staff - they helped me with all kind of issues, always ready to reply, speaking good English and somebody - Russian. + I had a free upgrade of my room (i initially had 2 separate reservations and stayed in the same room thanks to this free upgrade). The hotel is beautiful, situated in a calm neighbourhood, there is a hamam which is superclose to the hotel - Cukurcuma - really recommended to have an experience of turkish hamam. Very comfortable bed, bottles of water provided in the room every day. Breakfast which can be included when you want. Possibility to have a room service until 23.00 Lotion, shampoo, conditioner and gel of good quality and with a nice smell.

The sound isolation is not great - i had to sleep with earplugs. The window in my room was to the breakfast area - i would like to have black curtains, because the light coming from there was disturbing. It would be great to have coffee of a better quality for breakfast.

The location was great.... In a safe neighborhood, filled with charming antique stores, art galleries and cafes, and the Museum of Innocence just round the corner. Main shopping street Istiklal Caddesi is a 10-minute (uphill) walk away, and so is Istanbul Modern. If you head the opposite direction. I also loved the stylish interior decor, and the cute breakfast room.

The street noise as there are sometimes cars driving by blasting loud music. But once you shut the windows, it's fine. And just in case, ear plugs are provided as part of the amenities kit in the bathroom, although I never needed to use them. For a quieter room, ask for one on the fifth floor.

Excellent staff, very polite and impressively eager to help. The first night we arrived, we didn't like much our room because we it was kinda small, so we asked for a change, and the next morning we were given 2-3 options to choose from, so they gave us another room, bigger and more comfortable. They had left us some wine and fruits as a welcome gift, and then every day, at cleaning time, they left in our room a bottle of water for each guest. The room was nice, clean and pretty quiet despite being near a noisy and lively neighborhood. The bath and shower were also very comfortable. The breakfast was ok, a plus bonus was that there was a menu from which you could order for free an extra plate of an omelette, pancakes and other things. There was a private parking right next to the hotel, a very useful thing if you travel by car. Very good location, very close to Taksim Square.

Regarding the breakfast, i didn't like the lack of variety and the repetitiveness. I stayed 6 nights at the hotel. and the choices we had for breakfast were exactly the same every day. The access to the rooms is a bit strange, as you go up to some with the elevator but then you have to go up and down some stairs

The hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very romantic and we felt very comfortable. When we come back to Istanbul, we will definitely stay in your place again.

This hotel really is a hidden gem right in the heart of Istanbul. It is a 3 star property but it is more than that. Great facilities in the room. Bathroom stunning and spacious. A very comfy bed after doing over 20,000 steps a day in this crazy city. This hotel was just the best and I am so glad we stayed there. So much choice nearby of great places to eat and a 10 minute walk to the nearest tram to take you to all the sites. The staff at the hotel were just brilliant. Every one we came into contact with could not do enough to help. Thank you especially to Ergis and Baris (sorry I hope this is correct)

The staff, and I mostly dealt with Narghiiz, Nikita and Nizam, could not have been nicer or more helpful. I had a tough day getting to Istanbul, having had an unpleasant incident on the way, and when I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and care and my room was so clean and welcoming. It was a great relief getting to The Soul and I never felt other than cared for the whole time I was there. The location was excellent being very close to the hub of activity and with easy access to Karakoy and the Old City. I walked to Karakoy regularly and used trams, buses and the ferries from there.

Nothing. I had nothing to complain about at all.

The location is perfect for where I had to get to. Excellent public transport nearby. When I closed the windows, I heard no street sound at all. The staff were super welcoming, and I never felt alone, even if I was travelling on my own. I loved my room. I could have lived there. I loved the touches of old furniture in the rooms and the very stylish decor. Wi-fi worked super well.

A thinner pillow... but this is often a problem for me at hotels. And the staircase carpet needed a good shampoo... very minor details as I would love to go back to this hotel. I did not have the breakfast as I was out each day.

Loved the location. Easy walk to/from #11 (I think!) tram line. Great shopping, restaurants and bars within a 10 minute radius. Room was beautiful and very clean. Courtyard view was just OK, but it was also very quiet. Breakfast was great. There were lots of buffet choices and then 6-7 hot made to order choices. Our breakfast room attendant, Nizam, was very kind and always gave us ideas of things to do or helped us when we had questions. All the staff were amazing! As mentioned, Nizam and another older man (can't remember his name) who carried up our bags when we arrived very late (early morning) and had a to-go breakfast for us as we left early - would not take a tip. The robes were so soft. Wish I had bought one. Would absolutely stay here again.

Maybe air conditioning in the breakfast room, but it was OK. A few more hooks for towels and we would have liked drawers or shelves for our clothes.

The apartment was good, with two rooms and a fantastic spacious bathroom, a real palace like hammam. Despite the fact that this particular apartment is situated on the ground floor, we had a comfortable and relaxing night. The location of the hotel is superb - Galataport and Aiya Sofia within walking distance and the neighbourhood is really authentic and bustling with life. The breakfast is really good, although it's quite crowded in the super small room it's served in. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

The significant drawback of the room is that the windows open right into the street with quite loud and busy traffic. We stayed at a very quiet time so there was no noise at night, but I imagine this might be a problem at a busier time since one might be unable to open the window because of the noise. In winter the hotel AC works only in heating mode, so it's impossible to regulate the temperature in the room. It was a little too hot to our liking, but the staff did everything that could be done. Another detail - the sofa isn't really designed to serve as a bed, but it turned out to be comfortable, at least for a one night stay.

The hotel is in a beautiful building in a perfect location. You can walk to all of the tourist attractions but Beyoglu is much more relaxed with high quality cafes and restaurants which don’t feel like “tourist traps”. Lots of effort had been taken to make the hotel comfortable and to give it character. The rooms themselves are lovely but a lot of thought has also been given to making the communal areas of the hotel inviting. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, we felt they really went the extra mile. The hotel was spotlessly clean and generally a great place to stay.
