I like everything. I had the opportunity to visit this place in two occasions, once with my partner and another alone. We both adored the coziness of the place, we appreciate the care from the host from the moment we arrive, they helped us with info, gave us water and sweets after a long journey and recommend us where to go for dinner. The area is great, it is near the metro, near the best streets and restaurants in Istanbul. also it is safe and easy to find. The rooms are super clean and cozy, stylish for a vlog session. Wifi was amazing I had a lot of meetings online work related and it never failed to connect me with people around the world. Thanks Bahar :)

Location was fantastic- just steps to Galata tower and just down the hill to get to public transportation. In a lively neighborhood but on a quiet side street. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the rooftop terrace had incredible 360 degree views, with water on two sides! Bahar, the manager, was very helpful, responsive, and friendly.

The penthouse comes with the price of 5 flights to climb without an elevator. Some things were a bit rough around the edges, like the outdoor furniture on the terrace. The kitchen is not very well stocked if you are planning on doing any real cooking. There is a mosque very nearby, so if you are a light sleeper, be prepared to be woken up by the call to prayer.

Extremely close to the metro station, we used this to get back and forth to the hotel and walking distance to the Galata tower. So many places to shop and eat (obsessed with the doner kebab and lamb chops on this side). The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate everything including extra complementaries, earlier check-in, they even gave us recommendations for travel and sightseeing like a close friend would. This space is so cozy and clean, fully equipped with a kitchen and even slippers to walk around. We went here in the winter and it was perfect.

I hav nothing negative to say about this place, just be careful of the switch to turn on hot water as you need to do that about 15 minutes in advance before

Absolutely loved staying here for a few days! Bahar was super friendly and always available over WhatsApp to make sure I got to and from the airport, as well as recommendations for places to go. The hotel is in a 300+ year old building with all of the charm you'd expect. It's small, with only 8 or so rooms from what I could see and tucked away in the middle of the Galata centre, giving just enough privacy and quiet while still being only a stone-throw away from all the Beyoglu highlights. They had a friend help carry my heavy luggage all the way upstairs to a comfortable room. The daily turnover service, modern shower, and aircon were a godsend in such a hot city.

It's an old building, sometimes the light didn't work, at times it took a while for the water in the shower to get hot, and there are some smudgy (though clean) corners here and there. Oh- and I wish there was a slightly more premium soap, shampoo and conditioner available, but instead I just took my own. Easy enough to overlook though, would absolutely stay here again.

Very good location: 1. You are 2 minutes away from Istiklal street where you have a lot of clothing and souvenir shops, as well as cafes and restaurants. 2. You can reach Karaköy pier in 12-14 minute walk or half of this time if you take tunnel (underground funicular). The station Beyoğlu is 2 minutes away from the apartment as well. 3. You can walk to Sultanahmet area by foot through Galata bridge or take a tramway. 4. Money exchange points nearby the apartment offer a good rate for foreign currency. The rates are same or bit lower than in Grand Bazaar, but higher than in general Sultanahmet area. So, in terms of location it is a perfect place in my opinion. As for apartment itself, you have a hotel service while staying in apartment. I had an every day cleaning. The housekeeper would restock my supplies of shampoos and soaps and change towels everyday day. I was lucky to have a generous supply of bottled water every day. Manager Bahar was very attentive. She was always available through WhatsApp and asked every day if I needed something.

The room was very comfortable. Lots of natural light and windows that opened to a lovely view. The room had a small refrigerator and tea kettle with coffee and tea choices. The lovely host greeted me on arrival with freshly baked cookies 🍪 😋. And kept in touch with me during my stay to see if I needed anything. They provided recommendations to nearby places to eat. I would definitely stay here again!

For me everything was great. There was no elevator so if people have alot of luggage it might be difficult. But everyone is so helpful. I was happy that housekeeping helped me with my luggage down the stairs when I was leaving.

The "apartment with balcony" is perfectly located to explore Istanbul and come home to relax in a quiet, well-ventilated and comfortable space with lots of natural light. It is worth a few extra stairs to get the views and Bosporus breeze. Although it was hot outside we did not need the air-con. The apartment is spacious and we appreciated the quality furnishings but it is the super responsive and lovely hosting team that made our stay so special.

I'm struggling to find a con.

It was a pleasure to live in Maravilloso Hotel Galata! I was lucky to be in the top floor and had wonderful view of the buildings in the street. The room was really clean and sunny. Bahar, the owner, was so welcoming and sweet with me and offered me cookies upon my arrival. She was also really helpful to suggest places to visit and found me a taxi when I needed it. I definitely recommend the hotel and I am looking forward to visit it again! p.s. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood!

Shower is a little bit dodgy - comes away from the wall.

So many things were amazing. The staff is literally a whatsapp away. They are very attentive and helpful that anything you want they do. They waited for us at the metro station, took our luggage and brought them up the apartment. We wanted the room cleaned at off hours and they were always accommodating. The whole apartment is nice and cozy and it's location can't be better. The foot of istiklal street and everything is around you. Also if anything is needed, extra pits, pans, plates, cutlery, the staff brings you immediately. Highly recommended.

Things to improve but by no means should make you not come here is the size of the shower cabinet. It's really small. Hardly fits one person when the glass doors are closed. Also, the TV isn't a smart TV so you can't mirror your phone on it, but seriously you're on holiday and shouldn't be a e streaming 😂 but if you need to, the wonderful staff will get you an HDMI cable to connect your laptop to the TV and mirror anything you want to watch.
