The staff is amazing, very nice and attentive guys. The breakfast is just amazing, all Turkish traditional food and there was even a chocolate Fontaine! A part of it the staff offered us a fresh omelette and Turkish coffee. Good location, close to the center.

Feels that hotels facilities are already old. The shower, bathroom seemed old, the hair dryer didn’t work. But everything was clean. In spite of the fact that the street is closed to the blue mosque, it is pretty quiet and dark, so I wouldn’t walk there alone in the late evening.

The hotel is in a good place. There are a lot of areas to stroll across near the hotel. Be alert of a pitfall I was not aware of - the restaurants near the hotel are way too expensive! It is a good idea to take a tram ride to İstiklal Avenue and eat there - it will be tastier and less expensive. The hotel provides a good breakfast, the room is well decorated, and the beds are soft and large, I also liked the shower because of its great rainfall shower head. The staff is very nice and smiley. The room lacks free space, but judging by the architecture of the city I think that other hotels in this area have the same disadvantage. Anyway, there is enough space for two people.

The bad thing was that the room service was not good enough. They didn't vacuum clean the floor.

Very convenient location. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. They helped with all arrangements, any last minute questions as well.

The only thing is that I wish the bathrooms were bigger. But I think all hotels in the area are similar as they are in the older part of the city

The hotel is located very close to the Sultanahmet area (aprox. 10 min walk) where you have some touristic attractions, lot s of restaurants to choose from as well as many shops. The area is very quiet and safe. There are some hilly streets in order to get to the hotel, this was not a problem for us, but just for people to know. The room was very clean and modern, the bed very comfortable, as well as the bathroom (a little to small I would say but it has everything you need and very hot shower). The personnel is very friendly and helpful at any time (I've asked for an iron and they provided it immediately as well as a scale for the luggage when we left). They have also breakfast with a large variety to choose from and it's very delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and definitely recommend it.

There was a venting outside the balcony in the room we stayed and in the night it was kind of noisy. I used earplugs and I slept very well, but this might not apply to everyone.

The staff at reception were great. Accommodated our special requests and helped us out with an international power adapter for us to be able to charge our phones and laptop.

While located close to the water, it is a bit of a hike uphill to get to the tram and the main attractions. Due to the road in front of the hotel being so narrow, taxis do not frequent the road. Group tours booked required us to walk up the road to be picked up as the road was too narrow for the tour bus to pick us from the hotel.

The cleanliness, furnishing, coziness of lobby, hospitality of the staff, sahur experience, and location.

No place to hang thick heavy winter coats/jackets/scarves. The wardrobe is not suitable/enough for 3 people's.

Very nice stay - a few minutes walk to the Blue Mosque. Very tasty breakfast with a big variety (: Bed was suuuuper comfortable! 24 hour reception worked perfectly!

Could be cleaned a little better & the room we had had a balcony to a construction site. There also has been construction noises.

Absolutely everything about this little gem of a hotel is just wonderful from the super friendly and helpful staff to the accommodation - location and service. The rooms are not spacious but it doesn't matter - it is perfectly fine and the whole experience was absolutely top class.

There is nothing we didn't like about this sensational little hotel although there is a peculiarity that the air conditioning is centrally controlled and the room unit does not have individual settings so we were quite warm but it does not detract from how awesome this place is.

It was clean, modern( renovated), and breakfast had good variety. The reception staff ( especially Akeel) was very helpful and friendly. The Wi-Fi was strong, the room amenities were good ( robes, slippers, tea kettle with tea coffee, free water). Whatever we asked for was done immediately. Akeel even gave us a free Istanbul card that we could use in Trams and buses. And was that it was walkable to all the sightseeing places ( Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia etc)

The hotel sits inside narrow alley so it was difficult for our taxi driver to find it. And when we took a taxi to go to Bosphorus dinner cruise the taxi refused to come inside the alley as it used to very difficult to turn or reverse car from there. However that alley was full of hotels.

The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were amazing! The receptionists were very helpful and friendly.

It was very hard for taxis to get in and out of the area. They had to back up or meet us in another location. The road was blocked sometimes. We didn’t know there was a 72 hour cancellation policy. That’s important to know. We had a lot of things go wrong with a tour that we booked with the help of Akel. The things that went wrong with the tour weren’t Akel’s fault. We just got very frustrated with the cost and value we got for that price.
