Central but quiet location, very pleasant swimming pool in the courtyard, beautiful terrace with a splendid sea view. Everything was very clean and looked new and luxurious. Easy access for taxis but very far from any public transport connections. Breakfast is not at all bad, although we could hear other hotel guests around us murmuring complaints. In my opinion, anything one can reasonably expect from a hotel breakfast is on offer and it is really fresh and tasty (except for coffee, which was awful). But the presentation of the meals just made these meals not tempting. I loved their tea very much - good, dark, strong, perfect.

The hotel is very close to the city center but in a rather dodgy area. I wouldn't feel safe walking around on my own. Our room (Deluxe Double) was very small - the pictures on the hotel pages do not show the reality. We could barely walk around our bed. The beds are large and comfortable, though. Hotel staff was rather cold - I usually tip hotel staff at the end of our stay, but this time I gave all the money to the beggars on the main square instead. Perhaps, I should have paid the tip at the beginning of our stay and it would be okay.

Got an amazing deal with free cancellation so were able to monitor prices and rebook when lower price available. Our room was amazing! Very palacial with partial seaview. The hotel is beautiful throughout and soo clean and all staff are highly trained in satisfying all your needs. All the local attractions and bars/restaurants in Sultanahmet are a short walking distance away.

The room top terrace of the restaurant overpriced and expensive and staff were pushy trying to get you up there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Seven Hills Palace, all the staff were amazing with excellent customer service, especially Araan who arranged our private Yacht excursion for my wife’s Birthday celebration. The location was perfect, breakfast was good, but most importantly the rooms and the hotel was super clean. (Would give the hotel 10/10 for cleanness. A big Thank you to all the reception staff for making our stay very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is travelling to Istanbul.

Communication with hotel was brilliant bar information required for public transport from airport to hotel. Upon our arrival the reception staff member was brilliant, providing a variety of information. We did receive an unexpected upgrade which we were extremely happy with and, not knowing what our original room looked like, so happy with the upgrade. Spacious and comfortable room with all you could ask for a relaxing stay. This hotel completely provided the finishing touches to our end of overseas travels. We appreciated the kindness of all staff. Highly recommend

Breakfast was very good; lots of choice, fruit, pastries, cooked breakfast, cereal, toast etc. staff were lovely, helpful, good fun. We particularly got to know Tugba; Umut and Asim. But all staff were very good. Seven Hills Palace is welll located between the Bosphorus & Sultanahmet Square (7 mins from the back entrance). It’s like a little oasis from the very busy Istanbul. The pool area is small but rarely busy & a nice area for an hour R&R before or after doing the sites of the city. We used the Vitale restaurant a few times which has a lovely terrace overlooking the Bosphorus. Again all staff were very friendly & helpful. Muzat served us quite a lot. Lovely young man with excellent English. So would always make sure we were well looked after. Reception staff (sorry I didn’t get names) were great & if they could help they did. Organised our airport pickup & drop off. On last day they let us have our room a bit longer meaning we didn’t have to sit around at the airport for long. The porters were friendly & very helpful with luggage & showing the room. This hotel is very well located, comfortable with good wifi, a peaceful but friendly atmosphere but what really makes it are all of the staff. Never encountered any negativity. We had a superior room, well air conditioned with very comfy big bed. En-suite shower with a good shower and hairdryer which is as good/better than my travel one. There was coffee/tea making. It was clean & comfy although no view to speak of as overlooking the alleyway to the back. There are sea view rooms available but tbh there’s so much to do in Istanbul & the pool area was nice & comfy to rest in (swim towels provided on the loungers). You can’t go wrong staying here & I would definitely stay again when we return to Istanbul.

If I was being nit picky, I would like a few more hangers & my husband didn’t like that the safe wasn’t fixed down although was quite heavy. But neither of these would stop us staying again.

the location was excellent. the cleanliness of hotel, and staff couldn’t do enough for you. well done ….. thank you. we had a great holiday!!!!

the swimming pool was in a public area. outside reception, and the dining room. so it wasn’t very private. the Annexe bedrooms were noisy, and the air con wasn’t working very well. so it’s best to stay in the main building.

We stayed in the superior room onsite (not the Annex) and the room was lovely. It’s a very nice boutique hotel. Restaurant is really good and has a nice spread for breakfast. Staff are lovely and provide excellent service as though it’s a 5* hotel. Also has a sister hotel 10 minutes away with a rooftop view between Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia (albeit the food was overpriced here).

Location is great as Old Town is the nicest part of Istanbul IMO. 10 minute walk from Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. It’s a shame it sits on a main road meaning the restaurant terrace isn’t that nice to sit at in the evening. It’s quite pricey. I do think it’s value for money so not a complaint but putting it here as a point of note.

The room was very big, and the hotel were able to accommodate a late change from a double to a twin room. The beds were extremely comfortable, I can honestly say the best hotel beds I can recall sleeping in!. The location of the hotel is fantastic, opposite the sea, it's just far enough away from the tourist traps, so you don't get hassled the second you walk out of the hotel. However it's just over a 5 minute walk to the Blue Mosque. There are some lovely restaurant within a minute or two walk. All excellent. The pool was large enough and warm enough for us to use daily along with the other guests. Towels are provided.

Wasn't really anything. The beer at the hotel was quite pricey, £10 for a can of larger! Compared to half that at the local restaurants. However that was about it.

Well appointed hotel with local character, within walking distance, close to all major Istanbul tourist sites. Fabulous central swimming pool, clean & well maintained w plenty of relaxing sunbeds. Large spacious rooms & bathrooms, spotless cleaned every day. Delicious breakfast w good variety foods included. Absolute highlight of this hotel is the helpful, friendly staff & service levels. We had an issue w return taxi to airport, not booked at hotel, but they helped us resolve it. Jan on front desk was especially helpful w local restaurant suggestions which were fabulous.

On arrival, front desk staff will try to sell you local tours, but no issues if you politely refrain. Get used to it - Istanbul is home of touting & scams, plus if you do want a tour, much safer to book thru reliable hotel staff.

The hotel is lovely, lilac bushes fill the air with a wonderful scent. It´s location is right in front of the Bosphorus and from the terrace bar you can enjoy a drink and watch the ships go by. It also has a little shuttle that takes you up the hill where many of the historical sights are, such as the Blue Mosque, the Palace, etc. and this was a huge convenience for us.

Wait staff had some trouble with English, and although it sounds a bit harsh, a 5 star hotel should have better English speaking wait staff. But everyone was friendly enough and overall it was very good.
