Sögüt Hotel is located in a wonderful area, within walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, and with bus, tram, and metro stations nearby where every attraction is reachable. The property is impeccably clean, and the housekeeping staff works tirelessly to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Towels were replaced daily, and complimentary water, tea, and coffee were provided. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always smiling and ready to assist. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious. I would like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Etem, whose kindness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. Our conversations were truly inspiring, and his passion for Morocco was heartwarming. A huge thank you also goes to Mr. Alirıza, the front office manager, who is a true gentleman. His kindness and professionalism were deeply appreciated. I highly recommend Sögüt Hotel – I already miss both the hotel and the vibrant city of Istanbul!

1) Classic and charming hotel ambience. I had a late check in around 9pm and the process was smooth. 2) The receptionist was attentive and can speak english. The concierge is exceptional who helped me with my bags, showed and walked with me to the nearby restaurant since I was clueless where to eat at 10pm. The same concierge came to my rescue by guiding the uber drivers how to get there and carried my bags in the rain around 100 feet away when the hotel access was blocked. 3) Quiet and spacious room, enough to arrange 2 big luggage bags and perform prayers for muslim. Beds were comfortable and we slept soundly. 4) Decent breakfast with local dishes 5) Around 10 mins walk to Aksaray tram station 6) 2 elevators were working well

1) The 1st night the room temperature was too hot and the aircond could not be turned on. The receptionist advised us to open the window but it was broken. It was unpleasant. 2) No english breakfast 3) This hotel is a bit secluded and difficult to find by uber drivers

We loved absolutely everything about the hotel. Despite our late arrival at 3 a.m., mister Etem was there to welcome us and we are so grateful for that. Mister Etem made our stay perfect and we can’t thank him enough. The breakfast was very good and more than enough. The room was clean and more than spacious for 2 people and our suitcases. Also the key to the room and the lock were very nice and we liked the fact that we had a doorbell. Location wise, it is very central and close to the Aksaray tram/metro and Vezneciler metro (also a bus station that we didn’t use, considering the traffic). Again, we’d like to thank mister Etem for everything and next time, we will for sure book the hotel when returning to Istanbul.

I was very, very happy to stay in the hotel with my family, as I was staying in the hotel for a week from the date 20-06-2034 To date 26-06-2024 I travel from London to Istanbul for One week holidays I booked two rooms with my family in the hotel...and the hotel service was great, especially at the reception, especially from the new employee, Mr Etem, who was very helpful and cheerful. Mr. Etem was very helpful during critical times. I needed a taxi in the middle of the night at 3am, and the price was expensive, about 1000 Turkish liras, but Mr. Etem contacted the most expensive taxi office until a taxi was obtained at a reasonable price of 750 Turkish liras, and very late at 3am.. Thank you to him. for help I will not forget to thank Mr. Ali, the hotel manager. He is a wonderful person and a very successful manager of a hotel. A good assistant. He is interested in every detail for the comfort of the customers. Just a note: I had a problem booking the two rooms 24 hours before traveling, but Mr. Ali, the hotel manager, was great in solving the problem. Thank you very much. for him , Thanks also to Mamdouh, he was good and helpful to the hotel customers Very good location hotel, close to bazaar, restaurants, train, bus, reasonable price. I recommend booking with it.

I don’t like Unfair customers and slander of service

The room was very clean and staff were friendly and the food was great

The noise from renovations. The workmen were even working night time not minimising their noise

The staff was super friendly and helpful in every way possible, especially ERTEM and ALI they were very helpful and gave us great advises about the city. Also ALI offered us a metro card to use during our stay and ERTEM gave us great advises that made our trip in Istanbul more enjoyable. The hotel location is great, very close to metro station (with direct line to main touristic destinations), restaurants and small supermarkets. The neighborhood is safe, even late at night. Highly recommend it.

The breakfast variety could be improved.

This hotel is my and my family's favorite hotel. The hotel is newly renovated. It is a very clean hotel, the interior is very nice. The environment is very quiet. It is located in the center of old Istanbul. There are many historical buildings, parks, cafes and restaurants around. It is very close to Vezneciler metro and 100-150 meters from Aksaray tram stop. The breakfast is very tasty and has many varieties. The staff are very friendly, smiling and caring. I have stayed in this hotel many times and I am very satisfied with this hotel! This hotel is a super hotel!

We arrived later than usual due to delay in our flight However, the communication from the hotel was excellent. I had communicated with a young kind gentleman called All. He met and took us to our hotel when we arrived bleary eyed at 0300 hours. He would be on the night shift with his colleagues mainly and was always a pleasure speaking to him, getting tips and advice. Staff were amazing all the way through. Really engaging and really kind and courteous as well. Rooms cleaned daily as you would expect and items replenished. Room size for 2 adults and child was great. Location was amazing - 5-10 mins walk to Train (to Taksim) and 5-10 mins walk to Metro to access the line (to Beyazit Grand Bazaar / Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque at Sultanahmet). Plenty of regular shops in the area as well as restaurants a very short walk away. Really good competitive pricing for 8 nights. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend - so long it's in the new side of the building which has the much nicer/cleaner rooms.

We were originally given a room larger than the one we requested. However, this was older and I wasn't keen on it. However, within a few days, following a discussion with Alp (Reception), he gave me the room cards for two rooms to let me choose where I want to be with my group. Ended up in the room as per the photos and from then I was really happy. The breakfast wasnt great at all. Only thing I enjoyed was the boiled eggs and coffee. It's traditionally Turkish style breakfast which isn't for me.
